I might ignore this stage. re-checking the stake is a confusing job. I always believe the manager calculates the stake correctly.
choosing bounty with a large allocation is good but a quality bounty is a paying bounty.
That's right, nowadays there are so many gifts that provide a very large allocation for bounty hunters, but most of them don't pay or even they only become dirt coins and can't enter the market. Indeed doing a recalculation is a very confusing thing, but sometimes if we don't try to double-check we can lose some value because of dishonesty.
I now do not care and do not have the time to recheck the bounty stake.
I'm not worried because some campaigns don't pay and underestimate the bounty hunter's work.
on the other hand I accept whatever I do. and very grateful if the token that I received has value.

No point helping people out with threads like these, sorry to say. It's been done countless times before... and yet people still don't understand the simple meaning. I've actually even seen bounty managers themselves get the definition of stakes wrong for months, and hunters never point it out til it's too late.

This altcoin bounty business has really revealed so much about the so-called industry. The managers, the promoters, the influencers, the projects. All in it for the money, most have 0 blockchain experience. I bet most don't even know how to sign transactions!

you may want to find out why the writer wish to explain how to choose bounties to join after expressing bounty calculation. it is not fair to work hard and at the end you got a little stake. i think it better to cross check all those things he listed before campaigning for projects.
I understood it was a crucial part before joining the bounty. I only add a few opinions to simplify the work.
the more thorough you will be spared from scams and fraud. thanks.

That's easy. If someone don't understand this process, he should not be here to hunt bounty, I think. It's not something hard to understand. By the way, thank you for making this helpful post.

certainly not. you are one of those that will hurt bounty hunters when your platform keeps off.  i am looking for a platform that will negotiate payments with hunters. you should not decide what to pay hunters, rather there should be a negotiation between campaign managers and hunters before any campaign kicks off.

When you follow this platform you would know its new and we are trying to solve lots of bounty issue. We are launching 1st of March 2019.

I want to start this post by saying happy new year to all bounty hunters. for the newbies that just started hunting, we might review how your work is been calculated below. Before you venture into bounty hunting or wish to participate in bounties. you may want to know exactly what you will earn at the end and how the calculation is been done;
Giving a sample where a bounty project promises 500,000 tokens for the bounty campaign and a certain quantity for different engagements(Facebook, twitter, Reddit, etc)
Facebook campaign offers 10% of 500,000= 50,000 token for example.
you fall into the category of people with 500 followers on Facebook and twitter.
 Facebook/Twitter Campaign
350 - 1000 friends/followers = 1stake per week
1001 - 2,500 friends/followers = 2stakes per week

from the quota, you earn 2 stakes per week(facebook =1 , twitter=1)

okay you succeeded in earning 20 stakes( guess work guys . don't freak out  Grin) totally. and the total stakes obtain in Facebook and twitter campaign is 2,000
Here comes your pay for your job:
(50,000/2000) * (your total stake for FB/twitter)
(50,000/2000) * (20) = 500 tokens.

Note: the higher the number of participants, the lower your pay ( Sad)
E.g  if we have a total of 20,000 stakes obtain from the FB and twitter campaign
(50,000/20,000) * (20) = 50 token.
Terrible i must say for a huge work done.

same process is applied for other campaign( signature, content)

so guys before you embark in any bounty :
1; spend time to check the quality of that project, ( to avoid marketing a scam project)
2;  the % of bounty payment. ( i personally stick to the highly and tough part of the campaigns. Signature, contest, articles, inforgraphics because they pay more and people shy away from them)
3: Time factor. it is not wise embarking on all this projects that last for 8- 12 months bounties. you can not keep up and the possible of getting little payment as well. the longer the time, the more participants.

There are other means of bounty payments( the fixed payment) but i think this method is the most used by bounty marketers.
