BitcoinJ is maintained by an employee of Google as 20% project.  Although, I'm sure he wouldn't mind the donations... I don't really think he needs them.

Both apps are based on BitCoinJ, which is where effort and donations should be directed first.

Both apps still have serious bugs, transactions getting stuck in "sending", blockchain not updating, crashes. As soon as these  basic things work ill consider a donation.

Although the abovementioned app looks pretty good, I'm more a fan of the "Bitcoin Wallet":

It seems to have more implemented features and has already received higher ratings and attracted more users. There's only one developer working on it, but he's more or less doing it full time. So if you consider donating, this is where your money should go.
