On Thursday, May 28 the eCrime conference will be focusing on crypto currencies.

https://apwg.org/apwg-events/ecrime2015/

We are soliciting presentations and a keynote from the Bitcoin community.  Presentation topics include:
 - Case studies of Bitcoin exchange heists (Bitstamp, Mt. Gox, etc)
 - Bitcoin wallet security
 - Multi-sig case studies
 - Forensic solutions to trace Bitcoin fraud and eCrime
 - Dark wallets: benefits and threats
 - Cross-border identity and regulatory compliance

Now in it's 10th year, eCrime 2015 brings together security professionals, financial institutions, payments processors, regulators, law enforcement, eCommerce companies, ISPs and mobile network operators to discuss the state of cyber crime and its future.  The conference looks at the operational challenges and development of common resources and best practices for first responders and forensic professionals. In addition, it will dive into current research projects and future areas of interest for cyber-crime investigation, forensic techniques and infrastructure defense.

Interested speakers please send us an email to Peter Cassidy, Secretary General, APWG   [email protected]

Can anyone actually fool the blockchain to produce more btc or double spend etc?

It's impossible unless the hashing algorithm gets cracked (impossible).
Or a 51%+ attack but thats also pretty damn unrealistic.
