Hey, some users continue creating new topics in the press section although the same content was already posted hours/days ago + some of those are repetitively breaching the posting format.
Here is a guy that keeps breaking the rules over and over bitzamp.com

I think I gave that guy a warning before about alt coin spam etc but can't be sure 100% (anyone know how to search your sent messages?). People really shouldn't be allowed to spam their own crappy sites there and it should be for notable articles only as it states in the description. Coindesk or someone's crappy rip-off site posting that bitcoin has gone up ten dollars doesn't or shouldn't count as 'notable'. Various suggestions have been made for that forum such as some clear guidelines on what is acceptable to be posted, and personally I think any pieces from crypto-based websites should be prohibited. To be honest though, I think that entire sub has served its purpose and should just be locked/archived now. It was originally created when any press mention was exiting, but now they're dime a dozen and the board is largely just used by sig spammers to get away with legalised copy and pasting and the owners of bitcoin based sites to promote themselves. Any notable article can just be posted in the main Bitcoin board as they do already where they will get much more attention anyway.

There are some reasons why this user may duplicate the same content:

 1. Change news headlines: Some websites tend to change the headline to attract attention so you may find two contents with different headlines.
 2. Hot topics appear first: Maybe if you search for today news, you will find it on the second page.

Also, I do not think that restrictions may be affected because of the possibility of creating a topic and moving it to the Press section.

I sent him a PM.  Maybe he was just not aware of the rules.
Hey Vod, he should read the stickied topics before posting in the press section and I remember i already made a post on one of his topics to make him aware of the rules.
I don't mind PMing him, the most important thing is to limit this phenomenon Smiley

This seems to a better approach, a person could really be unaware of the rules. Thanks for the idea (wondering why it did not click in my mind at the first place  Tongue ).

I see the frustration in you. Seems like reporting is the only thing we can do. I was sick and tired with a similar case however just checked and noticed the guy (mit_ra) last logged in on July 1st

Example of not respecting the title format https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/--4710679
Examples of duplicated topics (Untrusted feedback/deleted obviously, admins can check it of course) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=1974845
(you can find other users in my trust feedbacks)
I don't mind to keep reporting him and tagging him forever but seriously he should receive a punishment for breaking the rules over and over!
I suggest a 1 or 2 weeks restriction from posting in the press section.
