Wth, I've always used abbreviations like BTT.
Sure! People can use whichever abbreviation they want. It is an endless discussion.  Tongue

Four months ago, there was a poll to choose which abbreviation should be used to call bitcointalk.org forum. You can check it here, if you have time: [POLL] BTT - BCT - BTCT?.
In short, there are different perspective, people supports BTT, BCT, BTCT, but there are actually a considerable proportion of supporters for the full name: bitcointalk.org.
Additionally, inside Flag Box, theymos used the term 'Bitcointalk.org' too.

For Milkyway101,

The thread title is incorrect, somehow, because the forum is bitcointalk.org, and you should call it only as bitcointalk.org. Or if the title has limited characters for you, you should call it as the forum, then everyone will know you actually implied about bitcointalk.org. There are bunches of fake sites that clone the forum and try to steal accounts of forum users, and more valuable related things.
I don't remember, but theymos at somewhere, wrote clearly that it is bitcointalk.org forum, not bitcointalk, BTT, BCT, BTCT, whatsoever.
I found it, there:
Welcome to bitcointalk.org, the Bitcoin Forum!

Wth, I've always used abbreviations like BTT. The domain is registered bitcointalk, the forum itself is a Bitcoin forum. There are many bitcoin forums, and sure some bitcointalk as well, but saying BTT, everyone knows you referred to our one-and-only amazing forum Smiley

Why are you gatekeeping users from using an abbreviation? Calm your tits Tongue if he says BTT ot BCT, who cares?  Everyone knows what he means.

Weird.

I found it, there:
Welcome to bitcointalk.org, the Bitcoin Forum!
How does that imply that theymos doesn't want people to call Bitcointalk "BCT"?

Where's that ban appeal bingo board when you need it?
To be fair to OP, "I got banned because a bounty manager didn't pay me my worthless tokens and I complained about it" is a brand new excuse, as far as I am aware. Certainly doesn't feature on the bingo board, so I think OP gets some props for that at least. Much more refreshing than the usual  "I only did it once and I promise I'll never do it again and I didn't mean to do it and I don't even remember doing it and it was my brother".

Spinning the first sentence to avoid detection was not a smart move... looks like willful copy-pasta and makes the appeal less believable.
Wow, that was a good catch and props to you if you were the one to find it.

Yep, another plagiarist.  My guess is he'll duck out of this thread never to return--but there's also the chance he'll start making excuses or pleading for mercy.  Where's that ban appeal bingo board when you need it?

Okay that makes more sense. So your ban has nothing to do with the bounty or your disagreements there.
Of course not.  Any problems with bounty managers or anything to do with related matters wouldn't end up in a ban.  99.9% of the time this crap is for plagiarism.  I don't even recall the last time someone got a permaban for spamming.  I know it happens, but the vast majority of ban appeals I read are for copy/pasting something.  OP didn't exactly do that, but it's all the same.  It's plagiarism.

No God or Kings, only BITCOIN.

Old posts of the user on the Chinese board as well seems some are copy-paste.

Find an account seems in connection with the user having the same twitter ID.

I think that when a property tends to go down in price, it is extremely difficult to determine if it has hit bottom or not to buy bitcoin. However, using technical analysis, we can at least give you a rough idea of the price, which can help you a lot. Remember that as the panic spreads, the downturn can surpass your imagination.

Spinning that shitpost actually made it better though.

So basically you're just another copypaster. Do you realize these posts of yours actually cost money to the forum? Someone is paying for those bits and bytes you've been wasting during your membership. Piss off and never come back, and take all of those other ban whiners and scammers with you.

PS: By the way guys, OP actually opened the exact same thread in the Altcoin Discussion forum...

Okay that makes more sense. So your ban has nothing to do with the bounty or your disagreements there. You have likely plagiarized your posts somewhere - spam is generally a smaller ban.

Someone will find it if you deny it happened. Your only chance at recovering the account now is to prove you are a net positive to the forum, this is not an easy thing to prove. So use this as your ban appeal thread and bring examples of why the forum is worse off due to your ban.

Wait... are you saying you believe you were banned from this forum because some random bounties manager said you should be banned??

That's not at all likely, unless there are a lot of details missing, that would point to a real violation of forum policies.

What was the ban email you received? Was there a duration?

What are you asking here really?

You joined a shit campaign, and they "banned" you from that campaign for unjust reasons? is that it?
Theymos nor any other admin is going to touch that with a 10 feet pole. It is not something they moderate.

If you really feel other users should be made aware of this, you can open a scam accusation -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0

Or did your account get banned? (The accounts mentioned both have no signatures anymore so i assume so?)

Days ago I recieve a ban report which I knew it emanated from Sero admin (Askash) because of how I voiced my displeasure on how he treated bounty hunters in the just concluded Sero bounty. Especially accounts banned based on sentiments rather than founded evidence which mine (Darkangel) was inclusive.
Bounty """managers""" can't ban accounts. You must've done something like copy-pasting.
