Just by switching to xmr stack fixed the issue. Now I will work into tweaking the settings. Thanks a lot Smiley

try with no overclock and start overclocking it one step at a time until you see this error
i will also suggest trying more cryptonite miners such as xmr stack

So after messing with it for a few hours, I found that underclocking the mclock to 875mhz makes it a little more stable. Tweaking the cpu clock didn't seem to affect it. I'm still getting way too many bad shares. I also try changing the fan and temp settings, no changes with the got temp at 60 or less. Fan doesn't need to go above 40% to maintain it at this temperature. Other than smashing it with a 10 pound sledgehammer I don't know what else to try to get it stable. I guess it's time to call it a night and try again tomorrow.

Hi peeps,  Im currently using Claymore to mine with a SAPPHIRE DUAL-X Radeon R9 280 3GB that I bought years ago. I know the card belongs in a museum but it is what Im using to learn about mining. I am using it stock (no overclock) with the default bios. The problem that im experiencing is that its mining roughly the same amount of bad shares and good shares. I have tried reducing the -h underclocking the memory and core clock to no avail. At this point im not sure what else I could try to get the card more stable. Any suggestions?

Mining intense coin.

claymore message: GPU0 found incorrect share. If you see this message often, make sure that you did not overclock it too much, also try to reduce "-h" value
