Yea, a lot of people seem to forget about this --> "Currently, the combined market value of all cryptocurrencies is $27 billion, which represents a

level of value creation on the order of Silicon Valley success stories like Airbnb." ..... Bitcoin is also the technology that spearheaded a lot of big

Blockchain based projects. { A whole new technology }  Grin

I have a question that precludes the basis of your report.

Bearing in mind the known involvement of ivy league/red brick universities with both recruiting to and producing reports and/or research for the various intelligence services, can you confirm (or deny Smiley ) any previous or present involvement in conducting any such work for state intelligence or military intelligence (pertaining to the British state or otherwise) of:

  • The authors of this report
  • The presiding senior faculty members

We await your response. Bear in mind that Cambridge University is one such establishment for which these allegations have been substantiated.

Hello,

After months of work, we are delighted to announce that the Global Cryptocurrency Benchmarking Study conducted by the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance has been released (http://insight.jbs.cam.ac.uk/2017/cryptocurrency-growth/). The study is freely available for download on our website (http://www.jbs.cam.ac.uk/faculty-research/centres/alternative-finance/publications/global-cryptocurrency/#.WOjiy1OGNn4).

This study would not have been possible without the support and participation from nearly 150 other cryptocurrency companies and individuals that contributed data. We would like to thank all participants very much for contributing to this study, which is invaluable for helping to present an empirical picture of the current state of the cryptocurrency industry. We are grateful for the trust placed by all study participants in the University of Cambridge research team.

The Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance is planning on conducting cryptocurrency benchmarking studies on an annual basis. We would welcome your comments and feedback on this inaugural study to improve the research process.

Thank you very much.

Kind regards,

Dr Garrick Hileman
