Well what do you expect. This forum has just become a place for people who can't speak or understand english very well to earn money on their half dozen accounts. Case in point:
You are too lenient. Time to step up? E.g. in addition to the proposal by OP with which I obviously agree, you should just permanently ban people like this:

Dear,
I am a jr member. already I am join few bounty social campaign. But I didn't take any signature campaign yet.
I want to get a suitable signature campaign.

Please suggest me have any problem campaign thread.

Here is another great example of a shit poster who not only doesn't campaigns
read, know how to use the search function, but cannot even comprehend
the purpose of this topic.  ^^^

There should be a separate section for 'signature campaign discussion' and
campaigns should exclude it from the sections they pay for posts in.  That
way people could put the section on ignore, all stupid threads about campaigns
could go there instead of meta or wherever else, and it would cut down
on garbage topics where people keep asking the same questions about campaigns
over and over.

He's talking about when campaigns are finished so there's nothing left to discuss once a campaign is closed.

He mentioned CFNP that's why I made my post but as you said hilariousandco, if the campaign ended, there's no point keeping the topic open.
If campaign finished, offcourse it would be best to lock topic. But if campaign is still running with CFNP status, I think campaign thread have to be opened to post info about payments, or various minor issues, like wrong counted posts.
But the problem that many people don't read what is written, they keep trying to enroll into campaign, even if it's clearly visible words FULL or CFNP on title. I remember that hilariousandco locked Yobit sig campaign thread because people every day were asking when campaign will be opened for new participants or why they can't transfer earnings to their account, despite that it was answered multiple times.

I did indeed mean the campaigns that aren't accepting new members,
but I certainly appreciate hilariousandco's response to this.  There's no way
anyone should be posting in a campaign threads when the campaign has ended.

As I mentioned, I think most of the communication that needs to be done when
a campaign is either CFNP or actually closed can be done via PMs.  There's a lot
of clutter being done by people who just don't read and don't understand that
they're not going to be accepted.  And writing that you received payment is
just not needed.  The record is on the blockchain.

I don't really support the idea since locking the discussion won't let the campaign members posting issues, confirming payments in time, seeing the progress and whether it is still running or it stopped working...
I would rather suggest to punish those users individually - from simple warning to a 1 week ban - or even perma ban in case he repeated this behaviour several times  Undecided

Can I use multiple facebook accounts to perform this task? Huh Huh

Why would they bother to waste time reading when they can just post and rank up in the process? Yes, people should lock threads once they're finished with. Just report them if that's so and they keep getting bumped and i'll lock them.

Here's another great example I just found:

The campaign is for a newbie for me?sorry if I do something incorrect, I do not have time to read, I am looking for a suitable campaign. Huh Huh

I've bolded one of the relevant parts.  Don't have time to read, he says.  And the other
part is that he's a newbie, and this campaign clearly states that newbies aren't allowed.
Unbelievable.  I'm heartened that Vod agrees with this, but I'd like to hear what some of
the campaign managers think.

That would be a lovely idea to 'at least' prevent some shitposting hopefuls to join a campaign. Also to make threads appear organized and clean by reducing the applications made by users. Placing tags with [CFNP] [OPEN] or whatever doesn't really help in preventing some other users to place their applications so locking the thread should be mandatory (or at least practiced) by signature campaign managers.

Many people only read the subject line and maybe the first post, and not the entire thread, before posting.

So I think it would be a great idea.

I would like to suggest that signature campaign threads be locked once they're either
CFNP or ended completely.  I've seen a surge in people applying when the campaign
is clearly full, or ended, like this joker:

Username: Rifat403
Rank: Newbie
Post count: 21
Profile link:  https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/rifat403-1080976
BTC Address: 172EejYTLAQbEnU1eMudBcAHfjrgXQBt32

That was in the Soma campaign thread, which has been closed for a while.

People love to post that they received payment, and I've done it as well (I think).  I'd
like to suggest that this is unnecessary, since proof of payment can be verified on the
blockchain.  There's no reason I can see that users need to post when a campaign is
closed.  There are no waiting lists that I know of.  Things like ranking up and requests
can be done via PM with campaign managers.

What do you guys think?
