They are near Atlanta. ATL is not exactly used to snow and ice and they have had the most snow in 100s of years there. Everything is shutdown and I am sure they are working hard to get everything back to normal. For people that live in cold areas this seems strange but people really freak out in the south when it snows like this.

Yes everyone is running and jumping over tables at campbx to convert their fiat to BTC. Lets hope they actually have enough BTC and haven't spent it elsewhere.

Price of ~$850/BTC indicates the market has much higher confidence in them than MtGox at ~$940/BTC.

It's strange, because when CampBX started, and for a long time after, they didn't have ACH, IIRC.

So no reason they should have a "run" when they still have the same withdraw/deposit options they had before, except no ACH.

For deposit they always had personal check and money order, and for withdraw they had personal check, money order, and int'l wire. Sure it's a little more expensive now, but for the bigger traders it shouldn't be such a big deal. Maybe they're just taking advantage of the news and tricking the people who don't realize that their volume isn't so much dependent on ACH.

That's exactly right, due to their loss of ability to do ACH and wire transfers. I believe this is only temporary and I have a 30 BTC sell order at $899.99 to prevent then from running out of coins. I will only remove/move this wall if the price goes up on the other exchanges also. Don't panic, but if you do, buy my coins :-)

What is going on with the buying pressure on campbx?  Looks like someone is desperate to cash fiat into btc and pull off the exchange.
