I got the same error.  I had to do a KBA thing with Dwolla before I could get the transfer to work.

Hope this helps!

Cheers!

Hi Keyur,

Thanks for looking into this. I'm an idiot. Every other time I transferred money into Dwolla first and then sent to Campbx once it had cleared. This time I don't know what I was thinking.

Anyways, thanks for your service! This is the only exchange I can really use now, now that MtGox's Dwolla account has been shut down. I've been pretty happy with Campbx so far - my only feedback would be to work on your scalability. The site can get pretty slow.

If you need any advice on load balancing/scalability, just PM me. I've had to scale a number of applications in PHP and node.js using Rackspace, Linode + AWS servers.

BitTrivia,
No errors in our logs for your account or for any others users in past three days.  Do you have enough liquid funds in your Dwolla account?

I've been trying for several days to initiate a deposit from Dwolla. Each time it says "FAILED: Unknown Dwolla API error. Contact (515) 280-1000." I called the number (it was Dwolla's) today and they triple checked my account and said that everything is fine on their end and it must be a problem on CampBX's. I've put in a support ticket for this (KNH-829-34146) but haven't gotten a response yet.

I've been able to send money through Dwolla just fine in the past. It only stopped working on Friday. Anyone else having these problems? Keyur, do you see anything in your logs about what is going on?

Checking now...

My transfer took quite some time as well, but it wasn't much money, so I wasn't worried about it. In the end (only a couple hours later) it worked out just fine.

Is CAMPBX a legitimate place to be trusting with any amount of money if it is not showing?

They are fairly reliable, though sometimes slow. Another user recently had this issue and it had to do with exceeding a non-verified account limit.

Annoying that it is slow, but I wouldn't panic, you will almost certainly get your money.

I just signed up a week ago made a $100 or so transfer from Dwolla to CampBX and everything went fine. Now I made a $500 deposit and it shows deducted IMMEDIATELY from my Dwolla account, however.... NOTHING is credited in my CAMPBX account.

 Where is the money??.

The only thing I can think of is there is a liquidity issue at CAMPBX or they are doing this completely manually. How am I supposed to trade at the price that shows up when my money is not showing up.

This is completely unacceptable.

I have read others with similar problems but were they resolved?? Should I consider the money gone?

Is CAMPBX a legitimate place to be trusting with any amount of money if it is not showing?

I have seen this happen with others and other types of deposits but with Dwolla they are "highly integrated" and it should not show a deduction on one side and nothing on the other. This means my money is being held by someone somewhere else basically. If anyone has any ideas please advise. If CAMPBX is listening, please help!

Ill update the post if (i hope) it gets fixed.

Once a Dwolla transaction goes through, we do a couple of verifications before it is credited. Looks like their API had two spikes where our calls for verification failed. This holds the transfer up.

APIs fail and our systems are designed to withstand such failures by capturing detailed information about any such failures.  Error handling and failure management is majority of our source code.  So when you are using CampBX your transaction may be delayed but will never have a HARD fail.

Hope this helps.

UPDATE:
I emailed Dwolla compliance and they emailed me asking for my ID, I provided it but have heard nothing yet.
I have heard nothing from CAMPBX at all. HOWEVER as of late this afternoon the account was funded. Very strange.

I don't know if it was from my communications they got around to fixing whatever problem, or manually flipping the switch.
Either way I'm very wary of CAMPBX at the moment.
I would still hope they respond to the customer support request at some point if not Im definitely trading elsewhere in the future. I will update!

I called (412) 897-3700 which is the number for the parent company Bul Bul however it is definitely just a cell phone VM. I did not leave a message.
I think the company is one person. Keyur is the President. If it really is that small I will wait a day or two as I understand it could take a while, but if you are trading with peoples money the platform better work better than this.

Does anyone know Keyur? or more about CAMPBX and these issues?
