Did you read this at? https://help.blockstream.com/hc/en-us/articles/4406512686105-How-do-I-upgrade-from-GreenAddress-to-Blockstream-Green

Above help page has more maybe interesting links, but I'm not entirely sure if what you want to achieve is covered there.

Maybe this is the reason for your observance of a zero balance:

Tip: GreenAddress wallets use a multisig security model, so make sure to select "2FA Protected" when restoring your wallet. Your wallet will show zero balance if you choose Singlesig.

Additionally below link may also help you. It's just a quick find when I did a very brief Google search.

Are you sure that when you used greenwallet, they provided seeds with BIP39 protocol and that it was not a multisignature wallet (with the user's public key together with the greenaddress)?

I'm sure that Blockstream green uses BIP39, but when it was greenaddress I don't know.

Check if you used a passphrase or if your funds are in a different derivation path.

When I try to restore my greenaddress wallet on blockstream greem, using the 24 word recovery code, it comes up with an empty wallet with no BTC.

I last did this about 2 years ago and it did come up with my wallets with my BTC, which I have not looked at since.

The question is, given my 24 word code, is there any other way to use it to restor my wallet, or will it only work with bitstream green?

I guess I am asking if the 24 word code is proprietoary to this one wallet venord, or if other vendors support it too?

Recovery seeds will work on any wallets as long as it supports the seed type and it supports the seed so the problem lies elsewhere.

Are you sure that you entered the seed words exactly as it was? It has to be in the very same particular order or else you will get the different wallet and also you need to enter the Passphrase the extra word while creating the wallet if you used one in the past because the same seed will generate different set of private keys when you create with and without the Passphrase.

To be sure, first check if the Bitcoin address you believe has the Bitcoins still has them using any Bitcoin blockchain explore such as mempool.space

If there are some Bitcoin, try to restore your wallet and then cross-check to see if the Bitcoin address generated in the blockstream green wallet is that same as that one that hold the Bitcoin
If the addresses are different, then that could mean that either your seed phrase is different or the derivation path could be a little different.

Are you sure the words are correct?
Are you sure the words are in the correct order?
Are you sure you import the words properly?
Are you sure the app is the real app and not some scammy app?

I guess I am asking if the 24 word code is proprietoary to this one wallet venord, or if other vendors support it too?

According to their help pages: "Blockstream Green uses the BIP39 standard—the most widely-adopted format in the Bitcoin industry—to generate your recovery phrase."
https://help.blockstream.com/hc/en-us/articles/900001550443-What-standard-does-Blockstream-Green-use-for-its-recovery-phrase

This means you should be able to use your 24-word recovery phrase to restore your wallet on other Bitcoin wallets that support BIP39. I suggest you try restoring your wallet on a different Bitcoin wallet, like Electrum for example.

Are you sure you didnt use an additional passphrase (25th word) when creating your wallet?
