I heard that they will be releasing a YT video to further explain the project.

Cancer researched data is very sensitive, so you should try to avoid putting this data on a public Blockchain if it contains people's medical particulars. The advantage of putting cancer research data on a Blockchain is that it is immutable and it cannot be changed by people with hidden agendas.

Donations for Cancer research amounts to Billions of Dollars and people who donate to efforts like this, would appreciate more transparancy on a public Blockchain to follow the progress of these experiments.  Wink

exactly the point why they want to use the blockchain. Because of the sensitivity and confidentiality of the data. I agree with your point about using blockchain for putting transparency in donation for cancer. However,
this project has nothing to do with this idea. It concentrates on distributing the important data to the right individuals for the purpose of finding a cure and correct medical procedure for each type of cases.

Thank you for the information by the way.  Smiley Cheesy

This has to be some scam, like 99.9% of "blockchain technology". Why would a data structure has anything to do with cancer? What difference it makes to the sick how is their data stored - on blockchain or in regular database? It's such a negligible detail that it's not going to affect absolutely anything. These blockchain scammers are just preying on suckers who think that if they will invest in something with cutting-edge buzzwords in it, they will become rich in an instant.

I understand that you see only the cover of the book. However, I don't think that this is a scam. first of all, Corona-Swiss Ltd is a big company with a good reputation. Why do they need to drag their name into a wrong path that might lead them to jeopardy? The effect on the project might not be visible in the short run but in the long run. Cancer infected individuals today maybe having a hard time to find a cure and they have a big possibility that they will be succumbed by it. But what about tomorrow? Are you not open to the idea that in the future, the number of individuals died because of cancer will be from decreasing to eradicated?

Medical System nowadays has limits. The project is opted to use the blockchain because is so sensitive and confidential data that might be used for illegal activities of some individuals who do not have specialization in this kind field - just to earn money.

The scoop of the project is not limited to patient-doctor doctor-patient only, but it includes the professional medical researchers, insurance companies, NEC, Regulators, etc.

Most people believe that the Artificial Intelligence will be the solution to many medical problems. Death can't be eradicated, but life could be extended (and new illnesses will appear).
However Blockchain Technology could finance AI projects helping science.
The AI computer playing chess today, will be the doctors of tomorrow.

Death is inevitable. Just to clarify, not all cause of death can be eradicated by this project. They are zeroing the death caused by cancer.

This tech is unnecessary. You don't need to use blockchain for this purpose and certainly, there is no need for tokens to make the system works. It kinda sounds like what some ICOs did, the only different thing is that those ICOs aims to reward participants for sharing their data. But the risk of data being 'stolen' is higher than the benefits from it. And there is certainly no need to use blockchain for this, just use IPFS.

I understand. however, I'm sorry to think that this kind of point is only for the closedminded individuals. This project is not intended for a short time span. It will utilize all its token in the long and stable service distribution.  Let me ask you a question. If you like to start a business with a certain product, would you like to give it for free? Surely the medical industry will not agree on it. This project will use the token in order to access the important data. Yes IPFS can be a medium, however, to fully maximize the use of Ethereum ecosystem, the best way is to use the Blockchain with Smart Contract.

Talking about the risk of data being 'stolen', I think the smart contract is very reliable for this concern. and for the benefits, as I have read from the link in the PR, in the future, the project will not only concentrate on cancer but other blood-related diseases such as Alzheimer's in which medication is still a problem until now. And there's more. Since one of the services is Liquid Biopsy Test using Proteo Technology with 99% accuracy rate, in the future, they might give it for free. Just to add on, another security feature called biometric authentication will introduce to its dApp.

Blockchain Tech is useful while we need to distribute trust. How exactly death due to cancer can be eradicated by distributing trust?

When we talk about blockchain, trust is instituted on it. the trust will be surely established because, in the medical industry's point-of-view, they knew that the statistic of death by cancer is still increasing its figure. Even if they have the possible procedure and medication to cure it (let's just say they have), the will not be able to apply it if a patients whereabouts is on the other side of the world. that is only for one kind of cancer case. What about the others? a patient might die today but its data will play a vital role in the study so that in the future if someone will suffer the same cancer disease, medication has already been developed and are available.

As what I have understood on the project, they will focus on the dApp and use the blockchain for big data keeping(this will include, patient data, hospital data, doctor's data, Pharmaceutical Data etc..).  Same as others ico. token is necessary in exchange of products and services - as we all know that fact. This data will be accessible by its members worldwide. Not all cancer cases are in the same type or occur at the same place with the same doctor and with the same medication.

The statement "there is no cure for cancer" has already been scorned.. cancer patient/s don't need to travel to have their treatment if it's not available on the patient's whereabouts, and so as the doctor who specialized in that particular cancer case. it was not stated that the eradication will abruptly happen. however, if the project will be given a chance, slowly, but it will surely hit its aim.

A company called Corona-Swiss Ltd, who is the owner of Bioha.io has started its steps in helping humankind by conducting FREE cancer test in a particular island in Japan. Using the Blockchain Technology, their #1 aim is to detect cancer from stage 0 or detect as small as a 1mm cancer cell(the smallest detectable cancer cell size). From here they are going make an opensource platform to store all the data collected, and use this platform to distribute necessary data to their constituents (patients, doctors, hospital, researchers, pharmaceutical companies, etc..) by the use of a token.

A press release was posted last 21st of December 2018.

no blockchain serves currently only the private enrichment of few without even taking care for global infrastructure security.

so how is blockchain supposed to protect the infrastructuree to fight cancer?
