In a world of peaches, don't ask for apple sauce
There's not that many of them to create a whole new subsection. Besides, it's a very specific service that could disappear as the forum develops.

In my opinion there is no need to separate sig campaign offers from other services on marketplace.

Indeed if there would be a lot more of them perhaps would be better to keep them in a one dedicated place but there are only fewtthreads with sig campaigns and a lot more other - different services so ...

And btw. I am 100% sure that Mods will never agree to create subforum for sig campaigns.

Kind regards.

Just as the title states, would it be possible for the forum admins to move all of the paid signature offers from the general Services section to a subforum just for paid signature offers? The Services section is really crowded with paid signature offers and kills the usability of that forum.

Just a suggestion, thanks for reading.

I remember the same problem took place when the gambling forum was flooded with ponzi. Now services forum is facing the same issue with signature campaigns.

Flooded? There's barely twelve of them, and mostly on seven are commented on everyday. And we didn't give Ponzis another sub forum, and nearly every post in the gambling section was a ponzi. I can understand that, since you couldn't find any real gambling sites. You'd have to be blind in the Services section not to find a service.

totally agree with OP. this should definitely happen. the sig campaign threads are really of quite a different nature than most services, and the popularity of the campaigns drowns out basically everything else in the forum.

Too many subforums also makes it messy. I think a seperate one for mining could be warranted but I'm not sold on this one. 10 or so threads in their own subforum is going to look pretty bare. Unless there's a significant increase in signature campaigns I don't think it's needed and doubt the mods/admins will either.

Yes. Just freaking yes.

Sure, there might be only 10 signature campaigns, but there's at least a dozen other threads that are created FOR the campaigns which could go into the subforum.

Honestly, I believe more subforums is better. It's like more categories to sort items from when you're just browsing. For example, the separation of mining hardware and computer hardware would be great, because someone might be searching for a new computer build, but NOT anything to do with bitcoin mining.

Make the Bitcoin, don't let the Bitcoin make you.
Agreed, not only do the clutter up the services section but the crazy thread titles they use in order to grab the reader's attention decrease the readability and usability of the rest of the section.

Would be nice to be able to read the services section without the over the top craigslist style thread titles.

You can find almost everything of the existing sig programs easily in this thread. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/overview-of-bitcointalk-signature-ad-campaigns-last-update-01-jan-23-615953
If you find something missing, you could mention it in the thread so that bitcoininformation (OP of that thread) can update the post.

The problem is not that they are hard to find, but that they clutter the service subforum when they could easily have their own.
But thanks for sharing that thread, it's indeed quite informative.

Really? How do they clutter it, exactly? The only ones I currently see being replied on everyday are seven at most. But there's 13+ threads not related to them. They're services. Not really a big deal.

It's like when people wanted Ponzi schemes to have their own subforum.

They definitely clutter up the services section. All day we have users chatting in the threads to bump up their post count.

There's also a difference between a Ponzi subforum and a signature subforum.

I'm all for the change.

Well that's almost half of the threads, and they are always on top. There would be no harm in making a small subforum.
However, that ponzi subforum would have been absolutely horrible for PR Cheesy

I don't think we need new board just for paid signature services. This forum already has a lot of subforums.

Keep it dense, yeah?
Not a bad idea, though such a move would surely indicate a big fat sign of approval from Bitcointalk, which I'm not so sure will happen.

Given how much activity goes on within those topics I can see how any 'other' services would sink to the second page very quickly.

There's only around 10 or so. Not sure that they deserve an entire sub forum on their own.

I honestly think it'd be better if they had their own sub forum.
