Eventually, I received a reply from Bter customer service and I am able to withdraw now.
So although it takes time to resolve issues, Bter is still alive!

Yes they are "alive" after 3 hacking / scam , and more then 1000 btc to repay to old user like me.

My suggestion? DON'T USE this site, you can get a really big scam!!!!!

Do you ever seen any exchange you could withdraw after 3 hackings? most exchanges refused to pay user after hacking but Bter paid something to their users, I don't think it "scam". They did pay your withdrawal.

I think that Bter pretty much always had withdrawal issues so I don't think that it would be surprising to find their BTC withdrawals not working once again. Just make sure to use a more trusted exchange next time such as poloniex, or bittrex.

What did you have to do to get your account unlocked? Did you have to give bter any identity card scans, or passport scans?

Cryptsy started locking people out of their accounts before it went full scam. I hope bter locking accounts is not a sign it's going offline soon.

I have been trying to withdraw from bter.com for several days without any success...  I only get the error message "Account is protected. Please contact admin to unlocked it.".  Several tickets created, no reply.  I even created a QQ account but I do not seem to find their QQ number 4000070955 in the network anymore...  Is bter definitely dead?  Anyone has any recent experience with them or an advice?
(Please deter posting how irresponsible/stupid anyone still trading there must be, thanks.)
