No country can take over another country, this isn't the old days anymore, the world has gotten more civilised and dialogue are being used more now than wars. Yes there are wars here and there but there are cases where things went well we can see that some African countries has started to cut of long standing ties with the French government and there hasn't been any war even though we are aware that France can actually win a war against this countries but to what end?
War is not a thing any country prays for and most of the time the reason for the war is never gotten

In the last few years, many countries did struggle in Economy and we saw less economic powers in these years but that is time for the countries to establish but there are dictatorship in the World because every don't want to eat by doing effort and they are using short cuts to make money and make their economy strong. Now ,the economy of Russia is not powerful and that is the reason Russia is involved in the War and want resources for the future years and America is also searching for that country which is low in defense and rich in resources and rich in money because we saw in few years when Ukraine economy was strong then Russia thought that they should attack on Ukrain and now Ukrain citizens are helpless and they could not do anything in this case.

Wars are different.

Some wars are still on going between two countries that are going head to head with no one country almost completely under another on the other hand some wars happen between two countries with a clear loser and a clear dominant power. For example let us take a look at Palestine, if you search for their currency you would see that it has been replaced by Israel's a long time ago we can see that Israel has totally invaded all of Palestine and controls everything in the country. This is not the same for Russia and Ukraine

I do not know his strategy but an opponent can attack civilians so that the other party is forced to concede in order to keep their citizens safe.

It may also be also because there is no point. So what if the banks are destroyed? Data is stored digitally as said in this article of how Ukrainians have kept their banks going and strong.

why would you think Russia can win a war against Finland.

Finland beat them in the last war they had.

Russia is weak from fighting Ukraine it is pretty likely Putin won't attack Finland.

Russia taken over some European countries like Finland, Moldova or lithuanian should be the last thing that anybody should think of because it's not possible to happen. If they try that many countries will form alliance against Russia which the impact may not be bearable to Russia. However, you don't expect Ukraine to allowed Russia to destroy their economy so easily because before they decided to go into war with Russian they have put all warfare mechanism in place both in defence and reciprocating action to Russia.
