Okay so if I where to buy 6  BTC MINERS Would they all plug into the same computer and work as more power or is each miner it's own computer
I am a complete beginner  Angry
All of them have a built in computer, you don't need anything external except for setting them up

There are alot of newbie friendy youtube videos, and forum topics that cover your question entirely.
Follow my advice and start mining with something you allready have, no matter how low your hashrate is, that will allow you to understand the basics well enough to advance into something more serious, or on the other hand give u vision that maybe bitcoin/altcoin mining is not realy for everyone.

Depends, some miners need host computers, some are standalone.

For example, pretty much all USB based miners need a host PC running at all times, whereas ones that plug in using an ethernet cable are standalone.

If you have several USB miners, you'd need a hub, then a host PC or Raspberry Pi connected to the hub.

If you have several miners with ethernet, you'd need a switch, but no host PC or Pi involved.

Hope that helps.

Plug miner to power source, plug network cable and it starts mining itself!

Mining is generating BTC with really powerful computers by having them solve a cryptographic math problem.  They are only able to do that one thing, but they're REALLY good at it.

To start, all you need is internet, power, and a miner.  If you're investing 10k, I'd recommend buying 6 of these.  To get mining, you just need to setup your miners and point them at a pool of your choice.  There's plenty of them around here, I recommend BTCguild or Eligus.  Getting the hardware up is as simple as putting in your network and pool information.  If you go with the ones I recommended, there's a setup guide here

For a better explanation of how mining actually works, this video sums it up pretty good
