It may be rather a someone troll, news are only themselves even very effective to make people sell their coins, there is no need for such personal topics,  I don't think they are effective  Smiley

I actually kind of relish in zombies' attitude. He clearly lost a lot to cryptos and you know what they say, "misery loves company." He hopes crypto fails entirely so he can feel better about his own misfortune.

Either way, he is succeeding entirely with his troll like behavior -- seeing as how posts such as this are popping up about that specific topic.

I would say this post will just empower him more.

At the end of the day, it's best to just ignore him.

I find his posts quite amusing myself   Grin .  And it is just not right to block someone, just because he have different opinion.

I am talking about this person: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;threads;u=738719
His last topic (before current year) was created in 2016-12-28. After one year of being silent he suddenly started creating fud topics from 2018-01-17.
All his topics after that point are spreading fud, every single one of them. And they are many.
I get it, he hates cryptocurrencies or he's betting on getting price down to buy for himself. But please stop now, enough is enough.
Stop spreading doomsday prophecies left and right. Get a life.
I noticed that now there are actually quite a lot of young (newbie, junior) forum members writing very pessimistic things on coins. I don't understand why they bother registering here for such purposes and sometimes I even suspect that someone is paying them to do that (someone outside of the forum) who wants the blockchain to fall. Obviously, big governments are happy for it, since they don't like lots of money they can't control. I don't think they can win, but they are definitely doing their best. Most of the news are really against bitcoin and blockchain. Perhaps some smaller players are making this newbie sabotage.

your are in an open furom so whatever you want to discuss here is alright as long as you placed it on the right track.
So whenever you see unpleasant topic or if you saw same topic but wiht different approach then just ignore  it, but if its the same with the first one you saw the the report to moderator button is up to you to use dont pressure yourself too much.

We can stop him by giving him a negative trust. All should do it. I've done it already.

Can this really stop him though? Maybe it gets him banned for a short while but it seems like maybe moderators would have to jump in to actually do something to someone.

I think FUD posts by any one member cannot have any significant effect, if you think that his posts are causing this blood bath then you can create shilling posts with positive use and future of cryptos and blockchain technology.
I agree but it spreads bad vibes.  No one need that especially during this times.

The fact that we are discussing it is a testament.

I'm not saying that he is not correct in some of the things he says.
I am saying that he is acting like a troll, taking bits of real information and mixing them with a lot of false information and spreading the result with a different scope than just to be informative and helpfull.
I don't know what is his real purpose, but in any case it doesn't seem to do this from the goodness of his heart.

I think your life depends on crypto, maybe your a whale and I assume you don't have a job, thats why you can't digest the real truth which is going to happen. I have been warning you guys before hand even before the real info comes out.

No and no, but keep trying Smiley. You seem to have a lot of spare time.

The real scope seems to be a completely different one, but in any case it doesn't seem to do this from the goodness of his heart.

LOL...don't sugar coat it.

His intent is definitely malicious...and it is very consistent.

If he really just hate crypto, then go away.  He knows this place is for crypto users/lovers/believers.  Why stay here and keep stirring the pot?  Malice--no other word.

And that 1 year silence before starting this fud threads, which were not present before, seems suspicious to me.

Maybe he missed the Bitcoin at below 1kusd last year now he is back and buying Bitcoin at ATH price. He must lose a lot of money to drive him crazy and start spreading Bitcoin FUD every day on Bitcointalk and on Bitcoin reddit. I think we can not avoid that kind of people with the bear market like that, because a lot of people lose their savings by buying Bitcoin.
