Wow, 10 days is a bit too far. Transactions are normally refunded back to your original wallet within 3 days. It does not make sense that the transaction has been unconfirmed for 10 days. As from me, sorry, I am not a miner.
My advice would be to check your address. Your money should be returned.

Usually, transactions are dropped from the network and refunded back to your wallet within 72 hours. I'm not sure how it has been kept there for 10 days. Are you sure the transaction still even exists?
It would be great if you could list the transaction id (A long string of random characters) so we can see it. It is totally safe.

It's only the transaction ID, it's number... It's safe, really.
The only problem is that ViaBTC is crowded, I just tried minutes ago to accelerate a transaction and it was not accepted.
