Thanks everyone for the reassurance, it truly means a lot.

You're right, we shouldn't let that immaturity be discouraging!

There is no fix, get used to it and learn to spot those ratings when judging others for trades.

Figured as much, shitty that people like this can continue to abuse their privileges like this. Thanks for the input.
OP, I have sympathy for you.  Take a look at my feedback.  All the negative trust is from people I've never even considered doing business with.  They just didn't like something I wrote or are spamming negative trust.  When there's no reference and it sounds like a 4 year old wrote it, people generally disregard negative trust.  So just move forward.

Nothing can be done unless he is spamming your trust page or using it for advertising, dont worry about his ratings, no-one takes his ratings seriously

Don,t worry about it, he is super red trust, so his negative report is not counted toward your trust rating #... and if people look at your trust history, they will see the guy calling you a scammer is a super red trust, which means absolutely nothing.

I've had such users leave red feedbacks on my profile you can go check yourself, it did not prevent me from building trusts as you can see.

He is spamming all over the forum.

He tried to fight with me too, as you can see in above thread.
At last the best thing I did was, I ignored him.

This should be reported to moderators and his account should be banned.

A user is giving me negative trust when I've done no business with them. His accusations of being a scammer are frankly quite harmful to my newly established reputation at bitcointalk. It's easy to see by my previous posts that I've only ever paid people and contributed to communities I've involved myself in, which is far from a scam.

After going through his trust feedback, it seems this has been going on for a while...

Naturally, I'm pissed. This is blatant defamation of character. But I'm keeping my cool, and would like to know if anything can be done about this? How can this user be taken down, and how can his impression be removed from my profile?
