I think it could happen, many believe that BCH is a real bitcoin. he does not need to do hardfork like bitcoin, I believe one day the use of BCH platform will progress
They need to do hardforks when doing something deep inside the system roger ver plans to upgrade the system in to 2018 only newbies will be baited to own agenda,he is just using BCH to get more BTC.

No, it has to be a hard-fork. Right now the network rules for BCH say a block over 8MB is invalid and will be rejected. The dev teams for BCH are planning to hard-fork I think at least twice in 2018. One of those hard-forks is going to remove the 8MB limit and replace with an adaptive block size.

If there is completely consensus then I believe so. Is BCH planning to increase blocksize? I have not come across this news, what is the purpose of that? I thought that they were already offering very quick and cheap transactions.
