So i think OP is talking non-sense and probably create this thread solely for SEO spam purpose.
Well, that's a bummer if true. I guess technically they said they're still exploring Bitcoin as a payment option, so they're not lying. Anyway, I believe the US government doesn't prohibit businesses from accepting Bitcoin as a payment. OP can use a payment processor like BTCPay Server if he's serious about this. CMIIW.

If I only got 100 sats for every time I saw a topic like this I would have a small fortune today. Someone who comes to a forum and writes a post like this and hides the link is in 99% of cases SEO spam.

As for paying with BTC in the US, isn't every transaction taxable or something similar?

could Bitcoin revolutionize the wellness industry?
When you say revolutionize, i take it to mean change, i don't see how BTC is going to change anything in that sector and maybe you should not put it that way. However, yeah, BTC is money and it can be accepted anywhere, as long as the merchant or service provider is willing to offer BTC as a payment option, it is great, even if it is for a spa treatment. Does your service accept BTC yet?

If you can make travel arrangements, pay for hotels and airline tickets with bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, then I see no reason why you couldn't treat yourself or others to a spa day using the same payment options. There are no limits to the industries that can implement bitcoin. Buy goods, pay bills, spend on entertainment and hobbies...etc. Perhaps it's even possible to pay taxes in certain countries or States. If not, it will be sooner or later. I know there were proposals about it.

At HereSpa, we're exploring how digital payments like Bitcoin could enhance the customer experience by providing flexibility and privacy for our clients. As more individuals look for ways to integrate cryptocurrency into their daily lives, wellness services seem like a natural fit for adoption.

Are you still exploring, and what's your plan really? I have not seen the Bitcoin logo on your website You should make it visible if you're already accepting.
If not, are you doing testing with some of your clients? Bitcoin can be integrated in any industry; it just depends on how your country regulates the use of Bitcoin. Now that Trump is coming to the White House, this is the best time to integrate Bitcoin.

I checked your website and it seems like you're based in the US. I tried to find "bitcoin" or "crypto" in your help page but it seems I can't find any. So you haven't integrated Bitcoin into your payment gateway, or do I need to order/checkout before I can find it?

I also didn't find any mention of "bitcoin" or "crypto" even using these keyword on Google search.

Code:

I'm also not sure about the privacy part considering most of your services require customers to come to your shop or you go to their place. I guess it helps them protect their credit card details or something similar, but if they want to leave a review wouldn't they need to put their details? That being said, if someone wants to pay with Bitcoin they'd probably prefer that (unless you're targeting those not familiar with crypto at all). CMIIW.

Key Benefits of Bitcoin Payments for Wellness Services:

Privacy: Secure and anonymous transactions for customers who value confidentiality.
Global Reach: Perfect for travelers who want to avoid exchange rate hassles when booking spa services abroad.
Lower Fees: Reduce transaction costs compared to traditional payment gateways.
What are your thoughts? Have you seen Bitcoin being used in other wellness-related industries? How do you think cryptocurrency can reshape the health and wellness landscape?
All that you mentioned are some of the features offered by Bitcoin, regardless of where it is implemented. Wellness is no different from any other business, so if there are clients who would like this kind of payment system, why not.
There are already some crypto payment gateway solutions, it is probably enough to just implement them.
The biggest problem here is regulation, or rather whether the country in which you would like to have something like this allows the use of crypto and trading in cryptocurrencies.
You are right because most times government highly frown about Bitcoin payment system, maybe they wouldn't make it that open to their list. It may be additional option if a customer or client wants to make any payments to avoid being attack by government of their country. However, Bitcoin is now becoming that friendly to government (most countries) as they aren't that more stringent with their regulations instead, are wanting to delve into the big race. For example; we can see how the US has turned into a big friendly nation for bitcoiners and anyone within the USA can use bitcoin for whatever they want without any restrictions.
