In my opinion, it is very difficult to happen because this currency has many who abuse for crime can be said very often stolen and there is no value for the state profits (no taxes) & its sources almost cannot be traced, So the government does not want to be responsible.
As for the bitcoins rate that continuesly leveling up these days, its standards and great possibility is already seen. So, if the day comes, this weird world will get to be so ironically governed by bitcoin. But its the most wishes to everyone these days.
I think bitcoin has a certain difficulty as a payment currency, its price is not stable, its transaction speed is very slow, its transaction fee is very expensive.
