I think coins carrying btc name or bitcoin name are basically fake coins. I mean that they want to be pumped, serious projects are named better and different. I don't see it happening.
Well for the last few months, the team was basically trying to rescue eBTC from a quick death, which they have managed to do successfully.
Its future will depend upon their plans/roadmap and its feasibility and acceptance by the market.

do you think ebtc can do a 50x from the current price of 2 dollars. Tokenized bitcoin for payment on the ethereum platform seems like a very good idea.
nothing is impossible, if its a serious developer and work hard in his project, I think could reach $ 100. the current price is only $1.8 and only lised in 4 exchanges. if ebtc can be listed in popular exchange, maybe the price can go up to $3 - $5. but I really like the total of its limited supply, which is only 21 million. 
I could not figure out exactly how a project in eBTC. I think they made a deal with Proxycard. I saw it on Twitter. But I could not solve the content of the deal. Proxy is not a very solid project.

There seems to be a strong team behind ebitcoin (ebtc) and are teamed with proxy card. It still only 2 dollars. CAn you imagine buying bitcoin at 2 dollars. It's not a clone of bitcoin , its bitcoin payments on ethereum.
It doesn't have other meaning to use their coin.

I would be glad if it could stay long at 2 dollars and not fall back tho. 
No way. The gias are now too high for being pumped. I do not think it will be $ 100. this is impossible
