Afaik not all member-features are available on a copper member and a few of it doesn't make it the same. In fact you can't replace your current rank using it so it's just like sub-rank to me.
If you don't see "Copper member" on the list of accepted ranks in a campaign, it means they are not accepted although I really doubt that you will ever see one that do accept since it's not just about signature styling but also the time you have spent here otherwise you'll become a hero member who acts like a newbie.
Thanks for the answer, since it gives the benefit of wearing the member signature , and it was never asked before I thought of asking that, Thanks for answer.
Whether or not you can participate in any given campaign is at the discretion of the campaign manager. There are no "forum wide" rules governing who can and who can't participate in a campaign. If a manager wants to let you in with a post count of 20 that's their decision.
Thanks for answer!
I was wondering about this too. Your best bet is to ask the campaign manager first, just to be completely sure. I'm pretty sure the "Copper Member" rank was made for people who wanted to post [ANN] threads with pictures and links and such though, not for signature campaign enrolees.
That's the best thing to do it seems, thank you!
The decision depend on the campaign manager of that bounty / campaign you'll join.
If it's okay to him to allow you as Copper = member rank, you're good but if not, respect his decision.
Thanks!
Nice try!!!!!!! No, your award and signature capacity will be the same on your current rank , copper membership allowed you to unlock you messaging limit but as not to upgrade your rank and not to add some consideration when joining bounty.
Like some members answered, I guess it's upto bounty manager. Thanks for answer.
Being able to participate in signature campaigns is not a part of those benefits I'm sure. The benefits are for the newbies to post images and reduce some other restrictions, but it doesn't allow them to wear a Member's signature and earn money through that by simply buying a Copper Member position. If that was actually possible, there would have been users taking advantage of that already. Besides, if buying Copper Member would let newbies get enrolled in signature campaigns by wearing Member rank signatures, the Merit system would be a very much of a failure IMO knowing it only increases the amount of spam if there are newbies in the campaigns, because if so, they will post with the intent to earn and we have already seen what that does.
I tried to find if it was asked on the forum before, but couldn't find it, that's why thought of asking, because that needed a clarifying, IF by any chance a campaign manager gives approval for that it will not be a problem. Thanks for answer.
