You can generate good money without investing if you know what to do. Because tokens cannot be sold to untrained investors, airdrops are likely to be a hot topic right now. This carries serious consequences, and projects cannot be stress-tested without users...

This type of earnings can be considered only if you have a permanent job in the office, since the income received from airdrop is not permanent, and you will not be able to provide for your vital needs. But you can use this type of earnings as an additional to the main type of employment in crypto.

Yes you can depend on cryptocurrency full time, I do arbitrage, I trade daily in the futures market an I chase airdrops, that is what have been paying my bills since I came into the crypto space
I think it will be quite challenging if someone has to rely completely on cryptocurrencies, even if you have done quite well so far, I think other people will not experience the same thing as you have so far because trading every day also does not guarantee someone will get profit . Likewise with pursuing airdrops, because not all airdrops can be very profitable so this also needs to be considered before someone fully depends on cryptocurrency, although it also won't be wrong if someone is able to do it as well as you do.

I wonder, how many of you work in crypto full time, and how many use this as an additional source of income?

If you want to, you can share with us what you are doing in crypto. Is it trading, aidrops, writing articles, marketing, etc ?
Seriously it's not advisable to make crypto trading a full time job, it's better you take it as other source of income just as you said. Their are lot's of things you can participate in when it comes to cryptocurrency but you will have to work before getting the money, don't believe anyone that say they want to share free bitcoin or other coins, most of them are scammers. I do trade, I am participating in signature campaign in the forum here and am also investing in bitcoin for long term. Their are still lots of things you can be doing on the forum here and you will be making your money.
I am agree with you that a lot of things can do to earn money here. But i have another point of view about making crypto trading as a primary job / fulltime job. In my country there is a guy named 'Ayoung Lam' who is professional full time crypto trader. He has a lot of followers who wait his signal trading, he share when the best time to buy and sell based on his analytical. So my point is doing full time trading is not bad enough to be a living.

I do it as an additional income, it works very well with my schedule, especially when you are just hodling.

how about hodling? it's the only thing that I have been doing for a while now and I'm not sure if posting here in the forum while wearing a signature campaign ad can be considered as a marketing.

It solely depends on If the skills which you have are cryptocurrency related skills to only rely here for daily earnings, because one cannot depend only on crypto for daily earnings if you don't have the required skill needed by people as kingsden has mentioned above, and such as helping people solve crypto issues online. Let's say for instance, people that wants to create a cryptocurrency payment system for their business will be needing people who are skilled in that angle for the job and whole lot of other stuffs.

Anyone who has skills that can solve problems in the cryptocurrency industry can depend on cryptocurrency earnings as a full-time job and also take care of himself and his family. There are a lot of skills that are needed in cryptocurrency industry, skills such as the trading, whitepaper writing, project management, mining etc

So anyone that has more than three of these skills can be in active money in cryptocurrency, and that would be enough to depend on cryptocurrency for only source of earning.

All jobs you may take can be paid using cryptocurrency. Literally anything as it depends to the agreement between you and your employer.
Say for example, me, my job I took here is participate to avatar and signature campaign. This is a part-time job for me though, not full.
I know some developer peeps that works in blockchain environment, they are full time. However I don't know what is the payment method for their salary.

Furthermore, I'm certain that there are lots of people nowadays that became full time into cryptocurrency trading.
As long as you are earning more than what you get from day jobs then you may think about considering cryptocurrency as your full-time job. It totally depends on how we take crypto into our life and I know that the majority are here taking this as a side hustle as we are not been in the forum or even in trading for 24 hours. In fact, I'd just spend a few hours in here and do other stuff. It was not a problem anyways, what important is we have multiple sources of income which are really in need at this time.

I will absolutely tell you that YES.
I have been in cryptocurrencies since 2016 and I have never invested the money I earned in my main job here. The risk was too great, and there are a lot of opportunities to earn in cryptocurrency. Therefore, it is not necessary to invest real money.
Times are not what they used to be, but there are still a lot of opportunities - retrodrops, signature campaigns and the like. You just need to be active and everything will work out.
We have the same experience in crypto work but never position for the main job even though the highest crypto income has been obtained from bounties, retrodrops, campaigns, trading and others, because crypto income cannot be targeted every month even once two to five months we don't get any income, but we don't invest anything from salary/earnings to trading activity, all funds are added from bounty and signature job earnings for trading to increase assets and we have to analyze every risk that adverse impact on investment to avoid high losses.

Right now, a particularly relevant topic is with multiaccounts in retrodrops.
I don't have time to learn more about it, as the forum takes up all my time.
But I want to say that there are people who have both 10 and 30 Twitter, Facebook, mailboxes accounts for earnings, which is much more than if you earned only one account. This is not entirely fair, however, because people earn really a lot.

Cryptocurrencies is my only source income almost five years ago and hope keep consistent for several years later, but I did and join all opportunities for earning profit in cryptocurrencies from trading, joining airdrop, testnet, joining signature campaign and some time try with lucky for arbitrage coins. Right now several side source income not running well like trading still floating, airdrop not worth with reward distribution until arbitrage trading most difficult finding which one coins potential and earn much profit for arbitrage. But I don't give up because have several side income from cryptocurrencies actually with signature campaign and hope my account level can reach up as soon possible to higher level and earn higher reward later.

I used to take crypto as a full time job back then when i worked both on signature campaigns here on the forum and did some ambassadors job on Twitter and telegram. But currently i have shifted into becoming a python developer so i had to abandon most tasks in the crypto space so as to have enough time to focus on my codes.

As time flies people will focus more on their passion and since we can't do everything at the same time many will do other kind of jobs to balance up their bills. But definitely a handfull will stick to crypto for full time job either as project mangers, ambassadors, shillers, designers and developers.

Nope I didnt include this as full time source of income. Id rather consider shitcoin flipping and scalping more as a source than signature. I am earning decent on trading even greater than signature so this one is just a bonus source of fund. But its been a while and I miss my previous work maybe its time to go back and do lesser crypto related.

For now, crypto is my only source of income. I've been a hunter since 2017, although there have been some on and off until now. I used to get a great income from here, managed to build a decent house in 2018 thanks to NANO (Raiblocks), and got some chunks of money here and there. But I feel that hunting is kind of difficult now since more projects failed (either to launch or to pay rewards), and it's frustrating. Now, I'm waiting for the upcoming bull season to save money and planning to have my own business. I think I need a more stable and dependable source of income. I'll work online and offline; that's my plan.

Airdrop??? Hahahaha.... Sounds like a nice plan.. I mean, who does that now our days? When we've got more prolific ways to make 'em bucks, who gives a heck to that shiii then?
I mean, HODLing and trading take a good position in the day's order presently; content creation, marketing, script writing, community management and the rest of the skills could also pay even higher, it all depends on you and who you work for.... There's more money in the crypto space but it'll actually demand you putting in Money to get them LOTS, most of the time.

It is up to you. But to be honest, if I am new enough, I will not work full time in crypto fully, but just as side job. This is too risky if working full time in cryoto as newbies. Although we know that sometimes we can earn muh money from crypto suddenly. But we also know that crypto somestimes is not paying. Moreover if we don't know yet to search and gain the right project to follow, or we don't have good skills on trading or investing in crypto.. this will be hard.

But it will be different for people who are long in this way with good ability and experiences. I think that they are able to work full time in crypto because they have understood the right ways to pass and earn. So once more, it depends on who you are and what you are doing.

I get my source of income here on crypto for a while cause I got lay off on my job during pandemic from my previous job. Before it was just an additional income but become a source like doing a scheduled trading to compensate for daily expenses. But it does not a guaranteed one so, better to still look for a job. I am now working on to find a replacement for that or maybe setting up business.
Signature campaigns are obviously not a full-time source of income if you meant that too, and they shouldn't be considered that at all since there is absolutely no guarantee about when a campaign you are enrolled in will close down or even the whole system or signature campaigns is finished all of a sudden, who knows? Anything is possible.

Trading can only be a full-time source of income if one is doing day trading with good enough capital and ample experience of the market and should also have the technical knowledge to do proper analysis, without these, you can't really sustain your trading to be your actual source of income.

My initial response to your question is that, when you see someone earning entirely in cryptocurrencies, that is what they like to do. Since there are numerous ways to make money in these forums, like signature campaigns, crypto bounties, and others, you can choose to focus just on earning cryptocurrency if you so choose.
I only learned about cryptocurrencies a year ago, therefore if it weren't for me, I wouldn't be able to supplement my current source of income with bitcoin earnings.
If you're only earning in cryptocurrencies or buying bitcoin and holding it for a while, it's also a solid business, but only if you can find another source of income.

If you are on this forum then you must already know what a cryptocurrency is and its usecases.
So the earning opportunities are limitless in the crypto community. You just have to spend more time in here and keep learning everyday.
The more you explore the more opportunities you will find to earn money.

I just started crypto when I'm financially stable I research something about crypto, how does the crypto work, what is trading and so on and then I try to buy a part of bitcoin until I get my first bitcoin. I'm holding it and I'm not worried if the bitcoin drop because like what i said earlier. I'm financially stable that looking for something interesting and I found this crypto. All i need to do is just watch, invest, hold, and wait till the price goes up !

Looking at this vote, I see most people using crypto as an additional source of income. To be honest, I thought more people here would work only in cryo-related jobs.

But everyone who comments under this thread earns in crypto. No matter how much. It just shows that cryptocurrency is a good opportunity to make some additional money.

You can choose Kripta as your part time job. You can earn from here usually through digital marketing, trading, investment etc. But if you already have a job then you can do it alongside the job. You have to choose the subject which you find easy and which you are good at. If you feel that you are good at trading then you can choose trading as your part time career.

It is better not to expect too much from airdrop campaigns as such campaigns are mostly scam schemes. Maybe after working on several air drop campaigns you see that you are not getting paid.
If you want success in cryptocurrency then focus more on trading and investing.

You can also use your skills and start a service where you will get paid with cryptocurrency like build websites with HTML, javascript and other skills. That's what they say if you know what you do then you will surely earn from it. It is also true that you can earn with crypto either in long term or short term. That depends on you on what you decide to do. Try checking the Service board and see what you can also offer in there.

If you are always working online at home and you decide to start receiving your paycheck in Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies, that's a different story. It's risky to use crypto as your main source of income; it's better to use it as an extra side income.

My crypto earnings are an additional source of income, and I'm not ready to stop running my business just because crypto isn't a straight-line journey, always expect the unexpected. I think it's smart to keep both going, as this life is never a straight line.
Agreed completely! Indeed crypto is risky to go all in. I have business where I encourage people to pay with bitcoin along with other currency and I always keep my investment or assets  into other things along with bitcoin.

We are not yet ready to go all in cryptocurrency so play safe with your money.

Generally, if you ask question like this hard to say exactly how many people work in crypto full time versus using it as an additional source of income because it varies from person to person.

Some people might be all-in on crypto as their full-time job, while others might do it part-time or as a side gig to supplement their main income. As for what people are doing in crypto, there's a wide range of activities, such as trading, participating in airdrops, writing articles, marketing, and even developing new projects.

Well, the vote seems telling us, everyone the sole purpose of people why they are here and risking their money - additional income.
Now, if you think this could be your main source of income, I suggest not doing that but rather looking for a passive income. I know many people have even spend more of their time in here but I was also certain that they are not also reliant to what they get from here, might some of these members had online business so they are literally on the computer almost 24hours. Because crypto is not a secured investment and you can't assure also that you can get $1,000 (or more)  fixed weekly that is why is was hard to just make this as main source of income.

I am in crypto universe for a long time regardless of whether I had my own typical everyday work previously. I was involved in mining, trading, long term investing and signature campaigns. However, these are additional sources of income for me and my family. The genuine objective is to acquire wealth by holding coins that we trust to become big before long.

There are individuals whose careers are centered on crypto currencies. For instance, crypto developers with their skills put a lot of effort into their projects. There are also individuals who work on projects as part of teams. The crypto industry offers competitive individuals numerous career opportunities.

I am not surprised that so far, out of 16 votes 15 say this is an additional source of income and only 1 says it is their only source of income.

Am currently working for crypto full time right now; I earn from my signature here in this forum, am currently working for two crypto groups as a moderator, and am being paid on crypto; plus and minus those three jobs' pay is enough to pay all my bills, that is, if I want to let go of my other sources of income. Earlier before now, I managed a cyber cafe that was giving me huge earnings. I am proudly the owner of one, but I barely visit the place because I spend most of my time on my crypto jobs because they give me the highest pay.

I don't know if you were the one with the only vote, but in any case if you are an owner, you will have income from it, and crypto is not your only source of income. I agree with the other comment:

I think the poll misses one other option, Crypto is my main source of income.

There is an important difference between it being the only source of income and the main source of income.

In any case, to have crypto as the only source of income, I think it usually only happens if you had activities related to cryptocurrencies as an alternative source of income and you lose your job, or if things are going so well with crypto that it pays to dedicate yourself to it alone, which is not usual.

With so many professions, what made you choose cryptocurrency as your main career? If you have a certain subject skill then you can apply that skill. We usually use cryptocurrency as our alternative source of income. Most of the forum members' main occupation is probably job or business.
Besides job and business they usually choose crypto currency as outside income. But if you select this profession as your main profession then you need to acquire more skills in this subject. You need to have adequate knowledge about trading. Because there are many risks in this profession, money can be lost without adequate knowledge or experience.

So if you take this profession as your main profession then definitely take such a decision with enough ideas and experience.

Actually this depends on someone's definition and also with someone's perspective, maybe most people make income from cryptocurrency as a side income or additional income, and there are also some people who use cryptocurrency as their main income but this is rare and this is more for crypto trading , because talking about cryptocurrencies there are various ways that someone can get results, one of which is trading.
Has possibility with cryptocurrency become main or side income depending on how much capital have and investing on cryptocurrency, I don't think with stable income from cryptocurrency and several people make as side job due have main job in the real life, but not wrong when cryptocurrency become main income depending how smart analyze when trading.

Start with how much capital have in our wallet become reason to make cryptocurrency is main capital or not, if huge amount seems easy earn profit consistency in daily day and our needed can filled from cryptocurrency as main income without have looking for side job to get another passive income, but if not consistency earn profit in cryptocurrency is not recommended as main income and need.

Some people put crypto work in their main job because the income is higher than the salary from where they work in the real world, but some are just looking for additional income, so it all depends on personal opinion based on each other, the two choices don't need to be debated because everyone has the right to determine options for earning. The two jobs do not contradict each other and do not interfere with other activities, so both can be done at the same time in daily activities, we must take advantage of open opportunities for earning from crypto because we have found ways to get profit from trading, campaigns, bounties, mining and others.

Investing in crypto (bitcoin), is not my main income, in crypto I only invest money that I earn from the results of the business that I run, so that it can grow and increase, and currently I invest only in bitcoin, because so far only bitcoin which I trust to save some of the valuable assets that I have.

I also don't make investment results from this crypto my main income, because I prefer investing in crypto for the long term.
And if it is used as the main income, I am not interested, because my initial intention was to invest in this crypto only for my savings for the future, with the hope that bitcoin will continue to increase, because I believe bitcoin will continue to experience a significant increase from year to year years, so I decided for now I will only invest in bitcoin.

I want to ask you before you make conclusions, how many votes do you need to come to the conclusion that in crypto you must have hard time finding people working full time instead of side income?

I trade, invest, also participate in various discussions. The signature that I use pays me every week, it's good for an additional source of income for me, but it's not a job, but I tend to say it as a side activity that allows me to study, read, discuss with community.

Yes you can earn only from cryptocurrency but it is risky to earn only from cryptocurrency.
I work for cryptocurrency but not really full time because I have other mean of income flow. Earning only from cryptocurrency is not profitable because you wont be able to hold for a longer period. A crypto dealer requires another side job or side business to sustain with.

Working in crypto full time is to vague  of a scenario,  lets remember this is just a mod of payment that distinguishes  this field from ordinary jobs and the alike.

If you want to, you can share with us what you are doing in crypto. Is it trading, aidrops, writing articles, marketing, etc ?
Trading of course and its one fast growing industry if you ask me.

This is a generalized question  if you ask me, earn crypto can also mean you are getting paid in bitcoin or whatever altcoins of your liking  instead of the usual fiat.

In my opinion, you can make money from crypto by investing in crypto and it can be a main income, provided that you have expertise in crypto and how to trade crypto properly.

but I personally do not rely on income from crypto, and crypto is only made as a side job.

but in my opinion, don't rely on the main business of crypto, if our skills and knowledge are not high because investing in crypto is very risky.

I work in cryptocurrency as a part-time job because I am a student and the salary from the signature campaign helps me to fulfill my fees and some important needs, but as everyone knows you will get huge money if you follow the ongoing trend and current airdrops trend are on fire so I used them to earn passive money for trading and long term hold which will worth when I am needy in future.
Fully relay on a signature is not a good choice because you should not create a boundary for yourself, keep increasing the number of income sources from crypto which will make you more independent .

Well, I can say that might some members be here full-time but the majority are just using this platform for additional income. Many online jobs are available today and this is one of them. Besides, we can promote our expertise here, and could someone might hire you. Actually, there are a lot of opportunities in the crypto world, in fact, some have successful carrier in here while still having to work on their day job. In fact, we don't need to stay in the forum 24 hours and 7 days a week, meaning there still have ample time to work outside crypto.

You can't earn much from airdrop unless you do some good research about the next swap/DEX platform that's planning to have its own native token, and trade on its platform to earn their airdrop coin just like people earn at least $100 worth of UNI token from UniSwap.

Quite hard to become a full time into crypto currency unless you build ready a good reputation with the different project and community this serves you a good number of projects and can be use as mode of source of income.
You can do a project manager into different crypto related projects, developers for the crypto gambling casino, developer for the front end web and etc. Better to build a skill first before selling your self in the market there's a lot of competitor right there.

If you have a certain skills that you are good at then harness it until you become the master of it and find the right people to work for so that your mastery won't be gone to waste. Most people here aren't actually relying in crypto since some of them has a legit work and this is just their part-time job/extra job. While those who goes full-time are the ones staying at the market trading to make a profit but this one is not for beginners since they are professional of what they are doing.

There's Alot going on in the crypto world so anyone could eventually chose where they wanna make their income from... that's up to y'all.
Secondly, I can't advise anyone to take crypto jobs as full time jobs...No - I'm not saying ion trust the process or it's not possible - I'm simply saying it's not reliable depending on which field you're subjected to.. if you're a coderman, cyber security, a community manager, a script writer, translator etc.. you could actually rely on it depending on the nature of the contract you signed. We've also got full time traders too; all they do is trade currency pairs and BTcs too.

There are people who can easily focus on their crypto earnings. One of such people are signature campaign managers. If they're earning $1k a month from this and have plenty of free time every day to do something else like trading or catching airdrops, it's more than enough in most parts of the world. It's also the case with campaign participants. Some campaigns pay well enough that you can have a good life in some parts of the world. For instance, in Bangladesh most people earn less than $200 a month, and many campaigns here pay more.

Signature earning is actually a big money in some countries while in some countries it doesn't worth much. Some countries minimum wage is even lesser than $50 while we have campaigns that pay upto $150 a week.
This is the reason so many users here rely on signature campaigns knowing too well that the forum is not ending tomorrow.
But no matter how much the forum signature campaign pays, any earning here is supposed to be regarded as a side earning and there is supposed to be a permanent earning outside this forum.
Or a strong freelancing skill to keep one going  apart from the signature earning.

I have been waiting for this type of question, hehe. you just gave me chance to share my story for another time. (it's not that exciting). I joined this platform, after leaving crypto behind in 2018, then i joined it in 2020, then i started to join bounties social campaigns then I started to grow more and learn more about cryptocurrencies and how actually new DeFi projects raise funds, etc. so, I thought I should step into the article campaign too, so i started to write articles for different campaigns and earned a lot, The most I have earned is from (bounty detective) campaigns (it's not a sponsor or promotion to them just a fact for knowledge) like last year in the start of 2022 i joined all of there campaigns and wrote an article for every campaign. I almost earned 40 to 90 dollars on each campaign in the time span of 2 to 4 months. while i was preparing for my exams too.

i hope this would have given you an idea of how much time i have spent on writing articles. it took me around 8 to 12 hours when i wrote my first article then reduced to 8 now if i have all the knowledge of the topic and know the main facts and everything I can write it in 1 to 2 hours easily. (maybe that's too much but i will work on my experience to reduce it more). Currently, i want to avail every opportunity in the crypto sphere to make more returns, like at start I joined Bounties (which i have already mentioned) then i started to write articles, then i made my first crypto-related website which got not that much of traffic but it encourages me because i can see potential in my self, i learn all three types of SEO and implement ideas on my website and boom i got my results. Overall, I am still not making any money from the website as traffic is less, and i am thinking of starting an affiliate website to earn without getting approved from any ads provider platform.

Don't you think something like this has been raised before?
Cryptocurrency at large is very complex depending on the area of your specialization, you may decide to trade and earn crypto money which may from either BTC or ETH possible BNB and the rest while trading. Other means of earnings may results as you offering some quality services that may required you earning money from those your services through accepting BTC and any other altcoin as payment. While some others may involve themselves with just creating and articles could be vblog or bloging at end they are being paid with BTC or ETH which is why I said is very large depending on the area you wishes to specialized.

Talking about airdrop, is a no go area for me because I don't if there are still good thing coming out of it so I wouldn't advise you to even channel your efforts towards partaking in an airdrop event.

Crypto is a side hustle for me. I have my career and personal brand and I’m focused on building that right now. I’m passionate about bitcoin and would like to be a crypto educator some day, but that’s far in the future. Crypto trading isn’t my strong suit, there are people who are professional crypto traders, and its their full time job. Crypto is so wide and the opportunities are not limited to bitcoin, altcoins, nfts, e.t.c there is so much that’s is yet to be unlocked with blockchain technology. It’s important that a person finds his/her niche in the crypto space, specializes in that area and find ways to monetize it.

Cryptocurrency is an additional source of income for me, I am very lucky and privileged to be in a campaign that pays Bitcoin, this is the best time and right time to accumulate Bitcoin, just when halving is coming and we are on moving from a bear to a bull market I'm trying to add more Bitcoin to my portfolio as a preparation for that.

I'm doing a signature campaign, bounty campaigns, and marketing on some Cryptocurrency based platforms like publish0x.com there are a lot of works in the industry and this is the best time to develop your skills to offer service.

I saw people doing full time in airdrops and yes, they've got a lot of list of it so I was overwhelmed looking at them and has got capital for those airdrops because it's a requirement for them to do test nets.

I guess majority of us here are into trading and holding and that's just a part time source of income. Look outside and in many marketplaces and you'll see those freelancing people earning cryptos as well.

They get paid crypto for doing tasks or being employed by someone offshore.

Airdrops nowadays are not to be treated as a guarantee to get income as most of them won't even be listed in exchanges.
I believe a lot of us here are earning from crypto market but only as a sideline, most have their own main job to attend to.
If you are a beginner in this market, don't treat this as your main source of income and quit your job, because you will screw your finances.
You can earn from crypto, but there's no easy route. You need to understand first the market before you will see profits from your investments.
Be smart enough once you got into this market. Don't lose your main job while you are still traversing on this market.
Can't blame those people as they've been productive with what they've joined so they've got more money to test nets and bridges. I know that it's not to be made a full time but it's the reality that I can see that there are lucky folks that makes a hefty money from it.

Maybe 1 out of 10 is gonna be a good project for them and not that much to earn but there's a point of time on them that comes that they're lucky enough to cover all of those expenses with a single project.

I don't encourage newbies to do that as those people that I've seen seems gone through a lot, not just with success but also with many failures, disappointments and money wasted.

Choosing crypto only as full time is not good advice to me, multiple sources of income is always better any time any day. Multiple sources from one field is good but not still the best (e.g engaging in trading, investing or hunting airdrops are all under cryptocurrency). Multiple sources from different fields is best (that is being engaged in other things that bring money like Real Estate etc just as you are involved in crypto). If you are just into cryptocurrencies and depend on them, be ready to face rough times when they come.
The risk associated with a single source of income is not only particular to cryptocurrency alone but all other life careers, because there is a need for diversification of resources to generate multiple streams of income in other to sustain oneself during rough times.

If you have a skill that is employable and paid through cryptocurrency it's a good thing and your ability to diversify and not rely on only one source of income is another thing that will give financial stability for the long-term profit generation.

as you can see, in crypto I do trading - investment - bounty campaign - affiliate (gambling site & crypto exchange). in the real world I have a small business that I have managed since the pandemic first appeared (about 2 years ago), my sales are not bad because my target market is women (I sell women's accessories), to meet daily household expenses, I rely on money given by my partner.

I don't know what exactly your purpose is for making this topic, but if you want to follow the advice of many people then you must have more than 1 income because the future is a mystery and anytime you need money (emergency).

Bitcoin has given us financial freedom, and as a result, we have adopted Bitcoin and some reliable projects; I come to this forum primarily to gain enough knowledge about Bitcoin, and I have developed a strong desire to engage in marketing and occasionally trading; however, holding for a longer period of time yields greater profits, which is why I have chosen to hold only Bitcoin.

Right now, I am also full in crypto, not working offline anymore becoming an employee. But I am also starting my own business, small business. But my first reference is still from the cryptocurrency business both trading, investing, and also joining this program. Although the results are still low, I think that it is enough.

However, if you are really new to crypto, you may be difficult and hard enough to earn from crypto and becomes a full-time employee in this crypto world. There are so many opponents, difficult statistics, and also this is high risk. If you are investing in crypto without any knowledge, many people may utilize you to gain their own profits, not for you exactly.

I think the poll misses one other option, Crypto is my main source of income. I still do other things but my main income from Crypto is 80% of my income, though I spent like 20% of my time here. This is a Pareto principle. I have a farm and into real estate which takes most of my time. The truth is that if one gets it right, there is nowhere in the world where you can get the same level of return on investment (ROI) you get from Crypto. Crypto has liberated a lot of people

People does have different skill sets
People does have different vacant times
People does have different plans and goals about their time management
People does have different impressions towards crypto

In overall if we do speak about crypto investment and making money then it does really give out that kind of opportunity or chances on making money.
It would really just vary on how you would be handling yourself and be wise on making decisions basing up on what you are engaging into. All of us do really strive on making money here on crypto space.
Just like me on which i do have a day job but i did decide to engage on crypto because i do make out some side income which i do even earn more than on my 1 months work salary
which it did really give out that kind of interest and do give out that opportunity on buying things that i do like that i wasnt able to buy before.

I chose the second option. For me, this is an additional source of income. The times when I could earn a lot have passed. In theory, you can only earn on crypto, but you need to sleep at the computer and at the same time have a bunch of accounts to try to earn money from them. The problem of constant income is the fact that there are no stable guarantees of payments after the work done, be it a bounty or some kind of drop. This activity should be considered as a bonus, but definitely not as a basis.

It depends on how much money you have, how much income you need every month to live the way you want and what shills you possess.
I'm in bitcoin part-time, but I'm not trading and I'm not trying to find a pumping altcoin to earn some money. I have enough bitcoin to live happily ever after, but since there are signature campaigns willing to pay me that additional $200 in bitcoin every month, why would I refuse? You can't have too many bitcoin, right?

I think many people work in this industry full time but I am not part of them. Some people make money that is sufficient to cover their needs from the crypto industry. But I have a full-time paid job that takes most of my time. I will categorize myself as a part-time Bitcoin writer. I read anything about Bitcoin and I write and publish my thoughts about Bitcoin. I came to the forum to learn and discuss Bitcoin but I later discovered other sections that can be financially beneficial. The signature campaign earning serves as an additional source of income. I am also a Bitcoin investor because I believe the currency has the potential to increase in price, so am also hodling a little amount of Bitcoin.

Well, over the years i have read people's claims that all they do for a living is crypto trading, i find it difficult to wrap my head around it because i know how risky it is to depend 100% on crypto trading, but my conclusion on the matter is that these people didn't just start trading crypto to make money, they were already prolly rich or had enough money from another source, and rather than just sit idle and spend money, they found a hobby (or a job) in crypto trading. I don't think it is possible for someone who does not have enough financial strength to depend on only crypto trading.

Having said that, i can only speak for myself, every earning from anything crypto is an additional source of income, i'd be standing on a very thin rope if i made a living solely on crypto, life is so demanding in the country where i live and the cost of living is quite high, thus a single source of income is somewhat unfeasible.

Is it trading, aidrops, writing articles, marketing, etc ?
I saw people doing full time in airdrops and yes, they've got a lot of list of it so I was overwhelmed looking at them and has got capital for those airdrops because it's a requirement for them to do test nets.

I guess majority of us here are into trading and holding and that's just a part time source of income. Look outside and in many marketplaces and you'll see those freelancing people earning cryptos as well.

They get paid crypto for doing tasks or being employed by someone offshore.

I wonder, how many of you work in crypto full time, and how many use this as an additional source of income?
If you want to, you can share with us what you are doing in crypto. Is it trading, aidrops, writing articles, marketing, etc ?

OP as you can see this board is all about bitcoin and Crypto currency activities. So therefore you should know mostly 99% of members here earn bitcoin and other Crypto currencies in one way or the other.

Down to your question,  I must say blockchain is an institution on its own and therefore bitcoin and Crypto made available full time job cutting across all divide. This gives has created lots of job opportunities for people some see it as a full time job and some as a part time job to earn extra source of income. However, there are lots of well paid jobs on Crypto and they varries in dimensions.

Let me start by giving you hints as I make a brief description of the following as you have mentioned;

Trading: this involves one taking advantage of the market situation to making profit when they buy and sell  a token or coin ie when a particular coin price is down one buys some of it and when it is up one sells it. This can be done every day to make profit.

Airdrops:  New projects do give out their tokens to increase the numbers of holders and to create awareness of their project through airdrops. With this, the publicity and holders tend to increase and making the project for which the airdrop is given being popular and we'll known.

Bounties: This is a strategic pattern or way of making a project popular. It is a job done by bounty hunters to promoting a project. This involves, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, Article writing and lots more  marketing processes involved. This aspect of marketing is managed by a campaign manager here and tokens allocated for each section of the campaign to be paid depending on agreement between the two teams involved in promoting the project.

There are other jobs like; community moderating, graphics designing, web Developing etc all these jobs  are full time and part time job one can get engaged in to make or earn more Crypto currencies from.

OP this is just  the minimum explanatory so you could understand how it works. Atleast now you know the Jobs involved here and about Crypto jobs and payment.

I wonder, how many of you work in crypto full time, and how many use this as an additional source of income?
Currently I am still using the crypto space as an additional source of income because apart from the crypto space I still have other sources of income where I work now and I have made that my main source of income to date. In this case you can also work in several places to get several sources of income so that you don't just rely on one source of income in your life.

In the crypto space, especially outside of this forum I am more focused on trading multiple exchanges with multiple cryptocurrencies. Apart from that, I am also still investing in Bitcoin for a certain period of time because I think investing in Bitcoin is still a wise enough choice to make so I also chose Bitcoin as my investment option. And for other things I still haven't tried it at the moment although in the future I also have plans to try other things like article writing and marketing.

I will never advise anybody to rely only on cryptocurrencies as only source of income because it is unreliable and there is no guarantee that someone will always be profiting from it. Therefore, I don't believe anyone will rely solely on cryptocurrency as only sources of income.

As for me, I participate in signature campaigns, earn money from it, and am also an investor, so I also profit from my Bitcoin investments after holding for a long term, I therefore consider that to be my additional source of income.

The answer is very much but we don't know the exact number. Working full time in crypto is very promising but you have to know how to make crypto as an additional income or become the main source of income.

All you mentioned are ways to earn crypto and many of us make crypto as extra income. I think some people have managed to become successful traders from crypto trading, airdrops (although not always profitable), marketing and others.

First build your reputation. It doesn't matter you are going to do the work for the good guy or bad guy. Good guy can make big income with high reputation, bad guy such as hacker also has to earn high reputation to earn big income. But not try to cheat your employer, you would not earn much by cheating. Nobody want to hire any hacker who broke his promise. Of course if you are very good at scamming, and have high reputation on scamming information, you would also earn a lot of income from crypto.

I suppose that it's possible to earn only by crypto if you are a developer of crypto projects, or in a team of programmers and engineers, as for holders with no specific knowledge in technological aspect its quite hard to make up enough money, especially now, since the price changes can't make up fast money, and even a little fast income is strongly needed for basic needs.

My answer to your topic head is No, you cannot earn from cryptocurrencies. Cryptocurrency is a digital currency and not an employer and literally cannot pay you. If you offer whatever services you’ve got to offer and get paid in cryptocurrency, you’re earning from your services rendered and getting paid in and not from cryptocurrencies.

Cryptocurrency(bitcoin in my opinion)is seemingly the most preferred option of paying for goods and services rendered cause of the ease of transaction and of course the convenience of having to do without a third party in the entire process.

So if you’re asking if you can earn in cryptocurrencies for your services, then yes. You could offer whatever service you could do online and you could get someone that’s willing to pay for your services. And what better and faster way to get paid from someone a million miles away than to get paid in bitcoin. You won’t have to wait for any third party to “verify” your funds before releasing them to you.

Perhaps you had meant trading?

I only make crypto as additional income and crypto is very promising additional income and also very profitable, but it all depends on the coin and strategy used.
because i already have a steady income from my job so i choose bitcoin for my extra income, and i do it for long term because i think it is the right choice for my future and besides i can avail significant increase to take profit.
and that is a very good side income when I really need it and also for my future, and without doing it with effort, thought and time.

I mostly participate in campaigns here in the forum to try to help the other sources of income I could have in real-life or as a freelance artist on the internet.
Ideally, I would love to be a professional trader, capable to living off it, but realistically it takes much time and some natural skills to overcome the feelings which lead to people to close losing positions.

In my eyes, one should be very careful when comes to considering crypto currency as main source of income and analyze if one's situation is stable enough in the long term,  so we do not have to face times without work.

I use it as an additional source of income though that is really my primary reason on why I use crypto specifically Bitcoin. I use it for paying my bills without the hassle of going into lines which is all pain in the ass if you would ask me considering I do not like being in overcrowded places. It also includes paying all my other utilities by the way.

You could use crypto as a payment method to whatever service you can offer and technically that might be another "fulltime" with crypto.

I stopped airdrops long time ago due to attempted wallet phishing.

It is an additional source of income since this forum has such features going on. Otherwise it would just another asset class to buy on your own. Dont consider the forum signature campaigns as work, these are side hustles and they can support you but nobody know if by any reason this forum shuts down.

Trading is a regular thing for most users here.
Airdrops = shit.
Writing Articles is for those who have the time and flair for writing such stuff, willing to do some in-depth research on topics before writing not just copy pasting.
Marketing is again a niche thing done by specific people for their own services.

If you are just into cryptocurrencies and depend on it, be ready to face rough times when they come.

In the world of crypto there are many things you can do to get extra money or economy for you, but not a few also experience losses when they do something without knowledge.

Crypto it has a broad meaning and specific to gain additional economy.
Example:
• Trading such as: margin, Futures, Spot and so on, provided you really have the knowledge and strategy to do it.
• Long and short term investment, is also the best method to increase your economy.
• And one more thing, you can visit here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0, you will find hundreds of users there, to earn extra income.

Bottom line: there are many ways you can do with crypto to earn an honest and fair economy, the important thing is that you have knowledge about what you want to do.

Over to your question, the answer is yes based on your skills and the kind of crypto job you have at hand. And no, if you don't know anything about crypto,

If you know what to do, then you can make good money without investment. Airdrops are going to be a very popular topic right now because tokens cannot be sold to unqualified investors. There are large fines for this, and it is impossible to stress-test projects without users. But you need to wait for the reward for Airdrop and be able to compete with cheaters who have hundreds or thousands of accounts.

I personally use crypto as additional source of income by just holding long term and take profit during bull run like this. I believe most of the response you will get here mostly a testimony about earning through signature campaign because that’s what popular source of additional income here in the forum because it guarantees profit on weekly basis unlike trading that there’s a lot of risk involved.

Anything that is services in exchange for crypto is the best source of income because it doesn’t involve risk and just pure man power required.
