This has become a posting dumping ground for sigspammers and the question was answered long ago (which is basically no) so I'm locking the thread. If the opening poster wishes to ask a different question they can start a new thread.

No it is not possible. You may mine a few satoshis but your phone will blow up in no time. Its life length will be reduced dramatically. Phone processors and gpu's are not suited for mining. Even full blown nvidia gpu'ed PC's cant mine a shit now. Forget it.

in fact it'e very possible, you can see my last posting about link of minergate.
but for profitableis not recomended, because each phone not designed for mining.

I think he already know now that it's not good for your device to mine with it. But when you feel the need to try it out and don't care if your device could be damaged you can try Coin Miner Pro. I tried it last year and it worked fine you can actually mine with it. Search with google if you want the paid app for free.

True, but in that case, i'd advice the OP to invest five or ten bucks and buy an antminer U2 or a geccoscience compaq. Those sticks will deliver hundreds, if not thousands of times the hashpower of a cellphone, and they're made for mining (in other words, they won't break because you mine with them).

Be carefull tough: neither mining with those sticks, nor mining with your phone will make enough coins to even withdraw from a mining pool... It's all just for learning or lotto mining (at least, when mining bitcoin. Apparently, you could try to mine PPC with an usb asic)

As others have already stated, it's no longer profitable to mine bitcoins with a computer with very good specs and GPU, let alone a smartphone. You'll need ASIC miners if you really expect to make money and chances are even if you use ASIC miners, you'd still be in loss if you have to pay for electricity.

Yes, you can mine bitcoin through your android phones or smartphones. There's an app in playstore that can help you in mining bitcoin. But the thing is that don't expect too much from your phone because mining bitcoin is not an easy task to do just using your phone, because it requires fast GPU and some mining hardware's that is being used in solving algorithm or mathematical problems to earn bitcoin in every algorithm you solved. It will be easier if you will use a high end PC because it's a lot more faster than a smartphone, and PC have longer battery life than smartphones so it have more advantages using it in mining than using smartphones.

Please, don't advice anyone to mine bitcoins with their "high end PC". It's a waste of resources. Even the best pc, with the best GPU cannot compete against an older ASIC.
The diff is so high, you'll burn your pc long before you make enough coins to withdraw from a pool...

Hi.

There's no way you can mine any profitable coin. There's a software called Minergate but it uses CPU or GPU mining systems. But any option will deteriorate your hardware heavily. This software uses 1, 2, 3 or 4 cores for CPU mining. GPU has almost the same logic but only with a video card better than a Nvidia Gtx 960 you could mine a little altcoin. Monero for example has a very high difficult. Maybe Dashcoin could be mined with high quality home hardware. But in your case, with a phone, it's impossible, even with a top notch, your phone will be very slow, the battery will be sucked and it has a high chance to be damaged.

You may try to mine with your phone but the battery will drain fast and you may check the profit after a year to see if you earned any cent.

you can send bitcoin with your phone, just need a wallet in your phone and ready to go,but to mine bitcoin using your phone, have you done a google search regarding this, how many miners can you see mining through phone,if its a ASIC based newgeneration phone you could mine  Tongue Tongue What i have learned is you dont even get profit mining for bitcoins with your latest desktop pc with high end graphic card let alone mining with a phone.

It's not profitable mining with a high-end PC nowadays and you want to mine with your phone? You can only gain some profit if you have low price electricity and mine with ASIC miners.

 Don't bother.

Even if you COULD find software that would work, you're phone has such a low powered CPU in it you probably would be lucky to mine 1 Satoshi per DAY (a Satoshi is 1/100,000,000 of a Bitcoin) while using quite a bit more than that in electric usage, *AND* there is a significant probability you would overheat the phone to the point of causing it to fail VERY QUICKLY.

Bitcoin isn't mineable even with high-end general computers any more for anything remotely resembling a profit - even the first few generations of Bitcoin SPECIFIC ASIC gear is unprofitable at this point unless you have free electric.

Definitely not. You'll just burn down your phone. There is no way it can support mining of even an altcoin ( except the mangocoinz mining concept) . You'll break your phone even before earning enough to pay for the electricity you used the whole yime you mine in it. If you want to mine, atleast use a laptop with good specs.

agreed, only wanted to add mangocoinz is dead, and mining with a laptop isn't a good idear either... You can mine some selected altcoins with a good GPU, or maybe some CPU minable coins with a decent desktop, but mining with a laptop is a bad idar IMHO.

Since this is the bitcoin mining subforum, i'd have to conclude you'll need a latest gen ASIC to mine bitcoins and make profit (if you're lucky, you can even mine at a loss with the latest gen gear)

Yeah, mining requires the full usage of your phine specs, in that case. Your phone will likely become hot as it is exceeding its limit. Plus, you need to plug it in so the phone will not drain its battery and in no time the battery life of your phone will become shorter. To sum up, just what they ae saying. You are just breaking your phone. Mining thru phone is not a good idea and even laptop. If you really want to mine. Use mining rigs which are built to mine bitcoins.

First of all the voting poll you set up is not needed because it should be just a yes or no answer if anything.

You couldn't mine bitcoin profitable on your iPhone and anyone that tries to tell you that you can is lying.

I think there was a guy some time back that redirected heaps of power from mobile phones to a mining pool but he would have need millions of phones.
