Get a Radeon GPU and mine scrypt altcoins. Also, if you have a fast processor you can CPU mine for quark coins at the same time. Not much per day, but they have a good following and a fairly stable price. There's a special cpuminer version for quark.

there are other cpu coins like datacoin and primecoin as well..

ditch the nvidia card and get ASICs or a beefy radeon.

You should look at altcoin mining instead of Bitcoin mining. For example, you could mine on http://middlecoin.com/, which mines various scrypt-based altcoins and pays out in Bitcoin. Your 780 Ti could probably do atleast 400KH/s ( https://litecoin.info/Mining_hardware_comparison ), which from my experience would pull in 2-3$ every day.

Bitcoin mining, forget about it. U can but itll take 1000 years give or take for ur pc to make 1 btc... (like other dude said u need asic miner for that)

There are however more then enough other coins you could choose from and then change for bitcoin (if youd want that) But again AMD cards work best there. But even for nvida there is still hope. U could mine Protoshares for instance. (difficult to set up tough) Either way with mvida u need program Cudaminer
From the looks of it your current pc is good to get started.. You wont make much currency-wise, but you gain massive amount of knowledge.
Easiest to start is simply to try. Pick a coin ... good place to search is coinwarz.com search for mining pool for that coin, and follow instructions on pool website till you get it working. Thatll be first obstacle. Just getting it to work. Gets easier after that =)

Best of luck on starting. and if you have any more questions, there are like a mil people here with a bil times more knowledge then me Smiley so there is enough help

No, not really.  You need an AMD/ATI graphics card, and graphics cards aren't great anyway.  You can buy an ASIC for $6000-$10000
