That's some big loss , Did you not even took a Screenshot ?
call the customer rep center of Blackberry and ask them how to take a backup of your phone , it's something like power button along with volume up key or so (Google it! ), then just back it all up and it will get saved in sd card.
But as you said it's not even starting so you need to get it checked , give them special instructions to not damange the data and software and just get it working somehow .

yeah buy directly, it's a better deal for now, 150-200 range is all about buying, don't esitate too much, it's also faster than mining and less troublesome

you can try to get your z10 to repair shop and ask them if the can get your data transferred from z10 to a usb drive. there should be something like adb support like in android it has.

We really need to know how much BTC was lost on the phone. If it was a hot wallet with just a little it would make no sense trying to repair.

But if it was a few btc then it would be worth it to try to see if you an recover it.

Unless you've got a way to access the private key of the wallet on your Z10, you're SOL. You'll still be able to see your coins on the blockchain by looking at the address (assuming you know the public address)... but without the private key, or getting your Z10 back up and running, those coins are effectively lost.

Mining for the small individual is getting harder and harder, even though the difficulty changes have been leveling out as of late. Fewer and fewer hardware manufacturers produce home mining gear, concentrating instead on the larger scale industrial miners.

1. If you have a backup of the private key somewhere, you can retrieve it. Perhaps you have a backup of the phone and could restore it to a new phone? If it is a lot and worth it, you could probably extract the internal storage (16GB?) and get someone to pull the data from it. I don't think that would be inexpensive though, and that assumes Blackberry doesn't encrypt it. Ditto the SD card to see if it is stored there.

2. Second question, how did you transfer it to the new phone? Did you import the private key to the new phone or send to a new address? If you just transferred the private key, it could be (probably is) on your old phone and you could send to a new address from there. If you sent to a new address on the new phone, then this wouldn't work.

3. This is just my opinion, but as difficulty increases begin to level off and increase closer to the growth in mining (e.g. when ASICs have reached state of the art fabrication density) mining could become feasible for the individual again. E.g. when bitcoin went from CPU to GPU, once it leveled off, mining with GPUs was feasible even though CPU no longer was. I believe it will be again, but it won't be nearly as easy since the number of people involved has increase significantly.

You will need the private key or a backup to get the bitcoin address. If you don't have it and cant access phone it is gone. No way to get it (Unless it was a online wallet like blockchain.info then you still have a chance).

Flower tech I think was scrypt if i remember right. Scrypt is a hard game, I would look at btc mining not scrypt.
