But wait o, why would you think of sending merit to yourself are you that greedy that you can't even share your smerits to someone else rather wanting to send them all your self.
I think this option of allowing sending to oneself should be disabled so that someone won't thinking asking this same question next time. I am sure he must have tried sending himself over time but couldn't succeed that is why he raised this topic to know others option why he couldn't succeeded sharing to his profile back.

No I'm not greedy, Nor I tried to send myself any merits. It was just a simple question. You can't just tell from first sight he is greedy he is bad etc. As for your information I shared my sMerits to other users whom I saw fit. You can check it yourself. I was only curious.

If you merit yourself with 12 merits, you'll get another 6 sMerits that you can send yourself again and then get another 3 sMerits to send yourself again.

You want to do this:

As you can see in the image you posted, you can access the page or the part where you send merits but once you click send you won't be able to merit yourself. Well, you have the answer now and it would be great if you lock this thread. Once again, the answer to your question is, NO. It is not possible to send merits to yourself. You can only send merits to other forum members as .any times as you want as long as you still have smerits.

In first place, why would you want to merit your self.that goes against the merit system op and it's not possible except you are thinking of meriting your alt accounts which if you are caught might get you banned or tagged.

I think you are misinterpreting the forum rules at some point. In the first place, meriting oneself is not possible, so something that is not possible can't break a rule as there will be no rule for something that can't even be done.

Meriting one's alt account is merit abuse, for which the abuser might get the punishment of getting their account tagged, but I don't think there is anywhere in the forum rules that states that they will be banned unless I miss those parts, and I will be glad if you can share the link to those and let me correct my path.

You can test it yourself and the merit system has never had that bug.

A bug is in early days of merit system, you can send a negative merit to another user. No bug that you can send merit to yourself.

He is trying to be sure if it can't really work since the interface shows something similar to the one that merits others.
The OP could have just tried it and used the response as an answer to his question instead of creating this thread.

If you want to send merit to your own post, you will get this error:

Why will you send merit to yourself. It is people that will be able to see the quality posts that you have. The newbies and low rank members will abuse it if it is like that. Also that it is telling people not to merit their alt account.

It would be good if you can lock this topic now. Go down this thread and you will see lock topic at the lower left side beside move topic.

And I guess you've gotten your answer here mate, I will suggest you lock this thread to avoid repeated reply or abusive comments from other members.

I know this is a totally stupid question, but is it possible to send sMerit to myself? I got curious because I was recently messing around checking options, buttons, etc. on my BTT account. After a while, I found a post that I had posted previously. Beside the post, I noticed the +Merit button, which we use to merit others. Out of curiosity, I clicked the button, and it took me to the merit-sending page. I'll attach an image for better understanding. So if anyone knows anything, can you please elaborate?

P.S. I haven't tested it yet, so I don't know if it works or not.
