Good idea. People should also realize this fact.
That no matter how amazing bitcoin is, it still isn't something we cant be sure off. So it is just right to have back up plans.
Because as what i have seen in various news sources,  governments and banks are already giving their best and taking big steps to get rid of bitcoins and the whole crypto world. I even started to think about making a business or businesses just to make sure that i will still survive when things go bad.

Since I am saving for the long-term, I am not withdrawing every opportunity that comes. I try to accumulate them, save some on my hardware wallet first, and withdraw them all at once in the future.

Yes, I used that kind of strategy when I obtained a lot from Bitcoin. But, you better be careful not to invest all of them and have some saved up on your hardware wallet.

Yes, that depends on the strategy that you are going to use. Buying bitcoins every now and then in small amount could be beneficial and your earnings there in return can be invested.
