Purse.io can be trusted for sure, many people already used it and its also that they have some good reviews.
I think we do not have to doubt about that so you can safely use the service.

Purse.io, as a service, can definitely be trusted. But, do not buy digitial goods using Purse.io as bitcoin buyers might scam you with stolen gift card. Apart from that, Purse.io does not have enough liquidity of gift card sellers outside US & EU.

Fully trusted, but i doubt you will get big discount there if you want to ship your goods outside US especially because slow shipping time or high shipping fees.
I still prefer buy amazon gift card because some sellers sell it for low price (50$ gift card for $40 in bitcoin) Roll Eyes

I have to agree with you. I've been with them for quite some time now and they always deliver their promise. It's not just a scammy site which will not honor a deal.

Purse has been around for awhile and I'd see no reason why you shouldn't.

The company can be trusted, the individuals making the transactions not so much.

You may well be able to trust the company. Unfortunately you're being exposed to fellow humans through them and that's where the ball ache begins.
yes they are trust worthy I already used them once and they are pretty okay plus they have some nice reviews.
Overall there are also other people that have some good experiences with them.

purse.io looks like a trusted site they have a nice clean layout and there site is easy to use but not too sure about holding large amounts of bitcoins
on the accounts. Use spectrocoin if you want more safety and security

I used them a few times, thought everything was ok, until I found out that the buyer had claimed non-receipt of the items, so got a refund (apparently automatic for an Amazon marketplace trader).  I ended up getting lots of angry emails and phone calls from the company after they found the signed delivery note.

It ended up with them starting a case against the buyer, it wasn't worth the stress.  Ask yourself, why are they buying bitcoin 15% above market rate?

I have only used them once, I had some gift card balance stuck in my account of no use and I used Purse.io to buy stuff from someone's wish-list but I haven't used it to order anything.

I really want to buy stuff off amazon with my bitcoin but I want to know if it will actually work through purse.io.
I have heard some bad news regarding them as some of the gift cards found to be bought via stolen accounts. Don't risk large amount, try with few dollar's stuffs.

I have heard that too but if someone orders something for me from my wish list which is public, is it still on me if they ordered the stuff with stolen cards?
If someone orders with a stolen card and the item still arrives, you will be in serious trouble. However, Amazon will try contact the payment side first (in this case the scammer) but because it's a stolen credit card amazon will contact the real owners.
If that didn't work, they will contact the person receiving the item (you). If you don't return the items you'll get legal troubles.

Wow, and me who wanted to buy a Mac on Amazon using purse.io

So technically, if the guy who order my wish list items with a stolen credit card number, I will lose my coins, the item itself, and may face legal charges ?

Is $40 a large amount?

1 million dollar is not a large amount (if you are a multi millionaire or a billionaire) . It's basically don't risk what you can't afford to lose .

Overall , it's known and trusted company used by thousands of bitcoiners around the world . They got hacked once though , so it's not really recommended to keep large amounts on your account . Once you buy , withdraw the funds (if you still have any) .

They seem to be trustworthy (at least until now) and have seen mostly good reviews regarding their services aside from few bad reviews. In case you would want to check, this link might help you into making your decision: http://bittrust.org/purseio
Note: Start from cheap one's to test it for your self before trying to buy expensive items.
