It's not as bad as someone posting naked selfies on a geocities page & keeping same alias, though.  Just sayin'.

You know this from personal experience?

Hi,

if I use the bitcoin core wallet I get a new deposit address each time. I wonder IF I can use a used deposit address still like FOREVER if i WANT this? Or can I expect some issue or even lost coins?

Thanks

I've used the same address for a long time.  People with time on their hands can study all my transactions and find where I wasted all my bitcoins... and make me sad.

I have the same problem with a wallet I'm using to receive bounties, as you can see on the links posted by Ninja is not the best thing for privacy doing that, my advice is not to use your main wallet, I would be kind of curiuos what is the situation with the main altcoins out there (LTC, ETH, DeepOnion, Monero, etc.) they all have the same problem ?
There's nothing wrong if you'll use the same wallet again and again but if that's your case that you are having a problem for those bounties about the privacy, then just do what you want. And with the altcoins you mentioned, you really don't have any problem by repetitively using your main wallet. But if you want to use the feature of the change of wallet address again and again, try it if you want to be more private with your received funds.

Well, if you don't care to get linked between all of your recieving/outgoing transactions, then there is nothing which stops you from using an address multiple times.
Especially if you are going to use this address for only 1 form of income (e.g. signature campaign: You aren't really losing privacy by recieving several sig payouts to the same address,
compared to a new address every week.)

Additionally, you can still use your 'main' wallet. You just have to generate a new address each time or make sure you are not using these coins when sending somewhere else (e.g. coin control in electrum).

I would be kind of curiuos what is the situation with the main altcoins out there (LTC, ETH, DeepOnion, Monero, etc.) they all have the same problem ?

What problem are you talking about? The loss of privacy when reusing addresses?
Well.. LTC is basically the same as BTC. ETH has the same problem because its the same technology.
I'm not sure how DeepOnion works. I guess its a fork of Doge/LTC with routing through TOR? In this case the same problem would apply.

Monero is the only one which is different in this regards.
In Monero you have an address which you can combine with an PaymentID to get a kind of 'hidden' payment address.
Combined with ring-signatures you definetly don't have any privacy issues with monero. So this exact 'problem' does not apply to monero.

Yes no issues using the same wallet address no additional surcharges or whatsoever. Also, regarding the privacy it wull  be safe for as long as you don't give to someone or expose it to the public your private keys.

Yes because this is the key to receive an token given by the developer, but Sometimes they do not know how to use this and  important private key is so it will surprise you; that is no longer a token on your wallet.

What do you mean decrease privacy?
I think its safe to use the same address as long as you save your private key in the safe place your coins are safe..
Exposing your public bitcoin address hackers is nothing to do unless if you expose your private keys. Your wallet is not safe..

Yes, you are able to do so without losing coins.

As far as issues, you’d decrease privacy of yourself and others etc.

Like the posted above said a downside of reusing address is that you decrease privacy both for yourself and for other users.

Another theoretical disadvantage of reusing addresses is when the fabled quantum computer breaks ECDSA and is able to get your private key from your spent address.
Although before this happens bitcoin would fork to a quantum resistant algorithm.
