I have a family member that installs solar in the Midwest so I know a quite a bit about it.  They install complete systems around $3/watt or less for larger commercial systems (like a large miner might need) using USA made Solarworld modules and Solaredge inverters, not cheap Chinese panels that might not payout their warranty (industry standard is 25 yr warranty).  There is a 30% Federal tax credit on the installed cost and possibly a state or utility incentive as well.

A general rule of thumb on their grid tied system's is that 1 watt will do approximately 1.35 kwh per year if there is no shading.  So a 10kW system would cost ~$21,000 and produce 13,500 kWhs per year or 1125 kwh/month.  At an average rate of $0.12/kwh (midwest average, coasts are around double that) it would produce ~$135 of electricity/month.  This comes to $40,500 worth of electricity produced during its 25yr warranty before considering inflation (average yearly electrical inflation is ~4% so actual earnings would be closer to $65K).  Most systems last 30-40 years but slowing lose production ability over time.

I have learned a lot from this topic for setting up free electricity for mining. It will cost some money for providing the things needed but after that it will provide free electricity. More discussion is appreciated for providing free electricity.

At the current moment it can still be quite hard to mine with solar energy, and it might not make tht much of a profit.
I can't wait until the time comes that actually MOST mining will be done with solar energy. that would be awesome.

OP, let us know if you tried it and how your results / success were.

at that point i would rent something with cheaper electricity abroad, like a basement you set everything secury it and return to your country

might look impossible, but it's more easy than fiding a dam and building an micro hydro

I agree with this idea rather than solar. A micro hydro like a run off river hydro electricity might work and I think that less expensive than building a field full of solar panel. I once attended a power trade show and they have one of this in exhibit. The only problem with this idea is you need a continues supply of running water to produce electricity unlike Solar.

yea there is a lot on the web, about it,  like he said the main things is running water someplace with a lot of force you can set it up your self might take some learning or buy one of the kits it seemed cheaper then getting stuck with a 20 year loan but I guess you pay for all repairs all monitoring and up keep on your own with solar you don't  so in the long run i guess one is about the same as the other but we do need cheaper power and not just for mining the power company's in my state are at it again mainly B G And E  installing smart meters without asking and by law they are suppose to . they get a 4 % increase a year in rates and don't have to ask they can do it no asking that's ok to some extent if they wouldn't try to make us pay for other things like smart meters no one really wants that are  unsafe and there is proof  but yet still keep popping up as very safe .money talks here, there is billions to be made with smart meters. screw your health  or research for new stuff  etc or make us pay for energy saving days we really don't get free power back on werre suppose to, we some how pay for those days in fees in my state. CS doesn't even know what those fees are for if you call and ask they have to find out while your on the phone then come back and act like why did you ask sigh . . last thought and now my power company it trying to figure out a way to charge us for having solar in my state so they don't have to pay for anything the system makes over what we  use make no sense.I read some place a few month ago were one state does is now they tax you for having solar i mean like wow you try to help. well any way anything that uses less power or lets me use less power for mining or anything I'm up for mainly for mining in my house we don't really care how much we use with normal house hold use were not gonna let them control that use and make us feel like slaves.

PS :  hacker can now hack smart meters and blow up houses i found some thing in the WEB about, watch out who you make mad . lol .

The running cost of hydro(oiling moveable parts, control and change of turbines, spillway control etc.) is expensive than running of solar, plus hydro isn't reliable as there might be seasons the water might not run as expected but one hour of sunlight a day can keep your solar panels up and running. Getting your own power rig is the best way to make mining profitable.

hm interesting, i live near a flowing river and have water rights, it came with the house . one of the big rivers in Maryland will that work, i looked up micro-hydro setup it cheaper then solar and doesn't take much .

I fix broken miners. And make holes in teeth :-)
Short answer: No. Longer answer, Fuck no.

A better solution by far would be a micro-hydro setup, even with an auto alternator and a peltier wheel to start. More stable, more power, 24*7, just need a running river nearby.

Best solution: Find an abandoned dam and put in a 25-50kw micro hydro in the old penstock lines. Use cell phone internet, set up, get out.

Bitcoin FTW!
You sure can, just be aware you will need a big initial investment and there is is a chance you won't make your money back; solar panels often only perform as they are rated under very intense sunlight and this can vary based on your location. Honestly I'd just skip the hassle and mine from the grid, and if you can't do that because of cost, mining probably isn't for you.

yes I have a  thread   wait for link

this is a large setup most homeowners don't have an acre or two for a field of panels.

As you that nowadays solar panels can be used for almost all the things of home which require electricity. Please tell me that it is able for the mining tools to run with the electricity from solar panels?

have you took the time to search the forum ? there is several topic on this matter already....
