Another question.  When we try to post an image on bitcointalk.org, the image doesn't show but error message say "bitcointalk.org" "image proxy: invalid image" in red color.

What picture file format is best use here, is there anything we can do to help presenting the imagine we want?

Thank you for your help!

You are probably linking the URL to the image, not the actual image itself.

So like this, https://i.redd.it/z8kvlyeu7esy.jpg instead of https://www.reddit.com/r/Ice_Poseidon/comments/666epr/the_richest_man_in_la/

Also, can newbies post images and pictures? or only jr. members can post pictures and images... ? Thanks for letting me know.
No, due to abuse ( people trolling with sockpuppets) i believe it is Jr member + only.

Do bounty campaigns allow you to wear a signature without active hyperlinks? Just wondering. I think the magnitude of the reward for junior members fell dramatically after the introduction of the merit system.
Yes they can join because there are several available signature campaigns which allow Junior member to join their campaign. And as you can see, Junior members can not wear signature with hyperlink inside. However, those users have to try hard, learn more, writer more constructive threads to get more merits and rank up to Member rank for wearing signature with hyperlinks. It's not a long journey, but requires intensive efforts.
They have to change the approach, which they are familiar with, when writing posts in the forum. Change their minds first. Learn more, read more, write better threads. Merits will be sent to their accounts if they keep maturing and contributing that way.

Thanks for the updated information, guess we just have to move on with it, and contribute to get to higher status!  I just hope when I finally move to the next status, they won't tighten the rules again to leave me at the almost same limitation... that would be so upsetting!!
If you really need it i think you can use the upgrade option to copper member it could allow you to post a link with hyperlink in signature its just same as member rank..
So if you really wanted you need to donate a small amount..
Just check the guide and use here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=credit;promote

Does anyone have the update on what each level can wear on their signature?

Thank you!
Other than that (Jr. Member can't have links in their signature), everything is the same.

Perhaps the allowed signature styling should change with activity score / membergroup. Like:
- Newbie: No styling (including links) allowed. Max 40 characters.
- Jr. Member: Links allowed. Max 100 characters.
- Member: Unlimited length.
- Full: Color allowed.
- Sr. Member: Size allowed
- Hero: Background color allowed

Then newbies will be less effective advertisers, which would hopefully significantly reduce the incentive for low-content posts. And when people become capable of effectively advertising through their signatures, they'll have invested a lot of time into their accounts, and they won't risk being banned by spamming.

Yes mate, it's the new update. Jr. Members lost that feature now. So yeah, Jr. Members can no longer have hyperlinks as a signature.

Hi,

Can I have the updated info? I saw a thread that Jr. Members can but it was dated 4 years ago.  As you can see, I'm trying to wear a signature, but the hyperlink doesn't seem to work.  Is that a limitation with Jr. Member status ?

Thank you much!
