There is only one way around this and that's using nicehash software to mine with your GPU and get paid in BTC, I always get paid in BTC every week on this nicehash software because I tend to hold my BTC for longer term

check on what to mine with your gpu

https://whattomine.com/

then sell it to buy btc if you want.
for instance a newer RTX 3070 makes 4 euro per day mining ethereum then sell it for BTC if you want.
currently gpu is not enough for BTC mining

Hello there,

My problem is that I need to mine about 0.0002 of bitcoin. I used crypto mining to heat my room not really caring about currencies themselves Smiley ... but now in that mad bullrun I noticed that I have quiet a bit of eth and so on Smiley small bonus ...

anyway I have mined long time ago little bit in slush pool but not enough for minimum payout. I was wondering is there some way to mine that 0.0002 bitcoin with my GPUs (I have 6900xt and 3070) even it will not be profitable but just to get that little bit out of there ? Or mining that little bit with GPU will take so long time that there's really no point what-so-ever ?

What soft should I use ? Im running Windows. From very long time ago I had cgminer but when I ran it now it says there's no openCL SDK ...

so before digging any further I was wondering maybe I get some easy help from here Smiley

Thank you.

So you have a balance at slush correct.

It is 0.0002 btc short correct?

You have some eth correct?

You need to rent from a trustworthy person and have him point a miner at your BTC account on slush.

When your balance crosses the threshold value, the pool sends the confirmed reward to your payout address.
It is possible to set this limit as low as 0.001 BTC.
An additional fee of 0.0001 BTC applies to payouts lower than 0.01 BTC.

So do you have 0.0008 and want to earn 0.0002 to get to 0.001 you pay the fee 0f 0.0001 and keep 0.0009 coins

I suggest you pm me and give details.

As to what section this belongs in maybe mining of btc maybe pools of btc maybe

you go to the slush pool thread or even the brains thread. for help

If someone points a s17 doing 50th for 1 day  it will earn about 0.00000653 x 50 = 0.0003265

assuming slush is not unlucky for that day.

I just remembered the website you need is

https://www.miningrigrentals.com

they will take your eth and you can rent a btc miner point it to slush

I don't think it's possible to mine bitcoin with a GPU. Even if it works, it might take a very long time.

Maybe I suggest you to mine some ALT coins which you can exchange for bitcoins to get 0.0002. But maybe buying it right away can make it easier for you.

Don't even try mining on GPU. even if you could make it work,  it will likely take weeks to make even 0.0002. Your equipment is plenty profitable mining altcoins, so why don't you just mine some altcoins and exchange them for bitcoin? Nicehash is a decent software that pays you out directly in bitcoin.

You don't have to. Mine something else and convert them to BTC if that's really what you want. You cannot mine bitcoin directly with GPU. Maybe you can in theory but in practice it won't work.

You can start with downloading a free software like "nicehash".

Mining Bitcoin with GPU will not return anything, as said in the previous post.
Your 2 option to achieve those coins are:
1. Mine some altcoins and exchange them at an exchange to Bitcoin
- or, possibly better for that amount -
2. Mine some altcoins at a pool that allows you set a Bitcoin wallet and they will automatically exchange the altcoins you mine to Bitcoin and deliver Bitcoin for you.

I know that option [2] was available in 2016, but I don't see why it wouldn't still be today. But you'll have to ask around in the altcoins mining subforum if it's indeed still available, what is the minimum amount to be withdrawn, what coins to mine and which such pools to use.

Also keep in mind that such small amount of Bitcoin will probably be quite expensive to send/spend...
