To be honest it will be a long struggle and competition, attracting volume and traders to a new exchange is not an easy task anymore as competition is getting tough and dozens of new exchanges are already under development and new ones are also announced almost daily, so i believe only highest quality and best service with easiest trading interface.

Binace reached the top level exchange in 6 month approximately, starting almost from scratch. They showed a really good example of a wise management. So I think that every exchange can reach their goals if they use the right approach in their development. They should be oriented on users and do everything to attact as much new users as possible. They should be better than any other exchange to reach the top.

Nauticus is aiming to create the biggest exchange in the history of crypto. They are going to be offering 100 crypto & 7 fiat pairings.
It's cool that they are launching so many pairings, but i'd argue its quality over quantity. I wouldn't want to use an exchange that has a bunch of garbage coins..

Even if you are not a fan of ICO's, I think everyone should be hopeful that a new exchange emerges & creates competition with current exchanges on the market.

It's hard for new exchanges to get off the ground. New exchanges need to be trusted by the users, otherwise, customers will not give the exchange their crypto.

With that being said, If their fees are low, and they are transparent and interact with the community frequently, then Nauticus should have no problem building trust. As far as competing with Binance, Nauticus will need to offer something valuable that Binance doesn't, in order to get people to switch exchanges.

I agree, I think if they can reduce fees or increase transaction speed/ease they will be able to launch a nice exchange. I'm interested to see what crypto's they plan on offering. I'm hoping for a 1-stop shop type deal.

Bitcoin isn't a bubble. It's the pin!

Nauticus is aiming to create the biggest exchange in the history of crypto. They are going to be offering 100 crypto & 7 fiat pairings. Nauticus has already reached their soft cap & is currently ranked as a 4.7 on ICO bench (https://icobench.com/ico/nauticus). I believe this exchange has the ability to surpass some of the current powerhouse exchanges that crypto enthusiasts use on a daily basis. I was a big Gdax advocate six months ago until they decided to add bitcoin cash to their platform (messed up tons of transactions with no refunds). Even if you are not a fan of ICO's, I think everyone should be hopeful that a new exchange emerges & creates competition with current exchanges on the market. Nauticus plans on developing a mining center that will help provide additional server capacity for Nauticus users.

What do you guys think of the project? Can this project overcome the odds and become a dominant exchange in the crypto community?
