don't you think you also  need to update your java and flash plugins for this  browser?

i'm using old browsers because the plugins i'm using  works in this old browser, compatibility  issues always appear when  you update a program and not updating all the rest.

I'm having the same problem with the latest version of firefox, I downloaded it and tried to register a new account but it doesn't work.
About:config says that javascript is enabled, is there any way around this issue?
I have 64bit Windows 10.
Are you already installed firefox before doing update? If there's any extension or adds on, you can try disable it or remove it.
Maybe you can try using Safe Mode on firefox and troubleshoot it.

No load captcha, I think your browser has set AdBlock extentions to block ads.

I played another 30 minutes, including changing 3 ISPs.

then I save my logins and booksmark, re-installed from the latest version and now it works (again)

but still I am a unhappy customer with this software !!!

I was on the WiFi in a supermarket cafe, and I was having major problems in accessing the forum. I switched to tethering via my mobile, and it's now like lightening.

I quickly checked and I was able to log in from firefox.  There was no problem and captcha worked.  You may want to check if the javascript is the latest version and indeed activated.

before I posted here I spent 30 minutes googling and trying everything you suggested.

to not avail - but firefox IS getting worse with each new version, time for a change anyways. I have had trouble with that shitty software since about a year on a regular basis.

thanx for your assistance

the captcha is not showing - and the message is to activate javascript - which of course IS activated and captcha on other sites works e.g. kraken site
It works fine for me(in fact I am using firefox right now), maybe a little reset to default settings will do the trick or try clearing browser history and cache. If it is still not showing the captcha with the same error message, maybe the problem occurs because of ISP or VPN to and the only way to solve it is to change your ISP or by disconnecting your VPN, do not use it to connect in bitcointalk (if you are using one).

Are you running any other extensions? It's surprising how much extensions can interfere with things on certain sites. Especially, things which block certain elements. Other than that you could try clear your cache, and seeing if that resolves the issue.

Not sure about the root of the problem. Why not user other browser then like Google Chrome (may be you are already using it when you created this topic)? Hopefully you will have your answer from someone else on this thread.
