If you were fired by the company, would you still find a job you love as quickly as possible?Or you might choose to relax your mind and look for work again after a while.
Do you have better advice for work?

Right now seems like a difficult situation to switch jobs. I would be careful to quit my current job if something new is not 100% save and makes financial sense to switch. As long as we are not being laid off and there are no concerns about the company going bankrupt I would stick with my current job and wait for a better time. In case we are getting fired than it's something completely different. It depends now if we are getting some government benefits or not. If there is some insurance for 12 months to help us find a new job than I would take that. This would be a good time to try and increase our investment and see if we coukd live of it. Without any support I would go for the next possible job. Paying bills every month is difficult with the rising prices and going straight for an investment job is no guarantee that we are going to make a profit each month.

Although we may be unemployed one day, we must have a plan in advance for everything. But it is not recommended to take investment as your main job, whether it is investing in cryptocurrencies or other investment projects. Investing requires sufficient experience. Don't think you are a professional investor just because you have made several successful investments. Investing is a long story. You can do it as a side job.

Apart from knowledge and experience, investing requires money. How can you get money for investing if you are unemployed? I mean, borrowing money for making investments is the worst thing you can do, economically-wise. From being just without money, basically a free man, you are risking to become indebted, or, in other words, to become a slave of your debt. Don't do that.

Want to invest full time? Do you have enough money and experience?
Cryptocurrencies are risky, and a full-time investment job seems riskier, especially now that you are in a bear market, and winning in the market is not guaranteed forever. Investing in cryptocurrencies is more likely to be a side hustle, don’t fully focus on it, it will make you more stressed.
I think the same, the profits which can be gained in this market can be incredible but it is impossible to keep winning when the market is in its current state, even good traders and investors have had very long periods of time in which they do not earn money from the markets, but they can endure such conditions as they were rich to begin with, but for someone that is just starting out their journey and which have no other source of income doing something like this is not possible.

Entering into a full time investment is not a bad choice, and if you think you have all the perfect skills fit for it and you have a good amount of capital that will be sufficient in order to run your business, then why not? However, if you still lack the requirements to go into full time investment, then maybe we should work hard more by looking for a well compensated job. The reason why we should never do relaxing most of the time as it can steal a lot of opportunities to gain a good income. Be more practical, learn to manage your time in a positive way.

It's sort of like a lottery, so there is no stability to it regardless. This is why I cannot call "investments" as something to be full time. A person's investment could flip the table at any time and there is not a single thing that s/he can do about it but move on.

I never invest anything to my freelancing career if I do not have any other "reliable" source of income backing me up. Sites like Upwork would require me to buy their "currency" to buy connects so sometimes I do invest to my freelance when things get rough.

The best way to escape all this is to have or learn a skill. Someone that has handwork skills can cope with every situation he finds himself in. Online or full-time investments can fail when you less expected.

Under this current situation, stay off from having crypto investment as a full-time job. Invest and start up a business of your own no matter how little it is
I strongly disagree with this advice. Opening a business of your own, even a small one, is not as easy as it looks in TV series. You are more likely to go bankrupt than to succeed, especially if you are not i a country like Switzeland, where helping the locals is a governmental policy.

Earn money through cooperating with an established company, and then, when you have more than you can spend, start your own business if you want.
I would say that it may not be easy, and it’s true that working for someone else is a lot more guaranteed, I like doing it and I am happy with the way I am right now. But, it’s as much about money as it is about the person who does it as well.

Some people in the world cannot work for someone else for a long time, they just have too much to say on how the business should be, and they cannot just shut up and do the work, they have to get up and start a business and show the world how they think the business should be done, and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. Of course, wanting more money is at the core of it, but not the whole thing, it is just part of the bigger picture.

It’s risky to switch into full time investments the moment you lose your job. The first and foremost thing to do, is look for another job to replace your lost job. That is the best thing to do if you want to make secured and consistent profits. Although relaxing for a while is good because it will bring revitalization, but it’s not highly advisable if you are the breadwinner in your family as every minute is precious.

Do you have better advice for work?
"choosing to relax your mind and look for work again after a while" is only for those who are single and without any responsibilities or for those who have savings that could sustain them for at least six months. The times we live in now is not one where one should be without a job or a source of income. Doing so is dangerous - depression and suicidal ideation would quickly kick especially when you can no longer afford the basic necessities of life.
This is true but if you are a family man or does have responsibility on raising up your family then you cant really be making yourself to be relaxed but rather you would be finding jobs as possible as you can.

You cant really be making yourself relaxed on situations like this, unless if you do have business and other passive income which could really sustain the needs of your family on day to day living.

But if not then there's no way that you would really be making yourself to be having that kind of mindset. This is why always set out back up plans because not all things remains or being
permanent which risk could really be always there thats why it would really be just right on having this kind of preparation.

Full time investment won't give you stable income at first, and still it won't give you assurance that it will, for a long run. You will be needing to create your own fate with this one. Even if many companies are now in danger of bankruptcy,  that won't be much of a problem. If ever your company surrenders, then move to another one, that's how simple it is. The risk with this one is competitiveness against other applicants and if you won't make it or others would be better than you, then that is when problem may arise. But that's no longer with the company, rather, that's you already as an employee.
The best way to escape all this is to have or learn a skill. Someone that has handwork skills can cope with every situation he finds himself in. Online or full-time investments can fail when you less expected.

Yes. It is also a form of self investment wherein time would be your capital, learning new things. Think of people who are doing 2 or 3 jobs in a single day. If they won't allot time to learn different skills to use, they won't be hired on those jobs. And if you're worried of losing one, there's no need to if you have other sources of income.

Be versatile and wont matter if its a handwork skill or those developer skill or other which it could really make you versatile and able to have the chance on applying on something that you do know.

Its up to someone whether you are really that capable on doing up things and apply for it because having other source of income is really that recommended in todays economical situations
where the money you do earn on your day job is never been sufficient.

This is why for those who do have plans on making themselves to be progressive and somewhat do mind about having financial freedom then you would really be thinking
that it is really better to have other options for you to take on. It would really be requiring hardwork and proper time management on which you could really be able
to handle things despite on having a day regular job.

This does not apply to those who, like me, have families to feed. Cryptocurrency has no guaranteed monthly profit to pay my bills and buy food. I know there are times in crypto when you can earn more than your salary, but it isn't guaranteed. I will find a job if I ever lose mine, though I lost my job last year, so I quickly found a job since we need money. Though focusing on crypto is great, and there is a high chance that you can earn huge amounts of money, but it is risky.

Of course you can, many investments are used as the main job to meet the needs of life, and good trends today are staking, many projects that provide rewards with a stable coin and of course we can withdraw this to replace salary, of course it takes capital to be able to staking and earnings from stable coins but I think this is the safest solution for earnings and making investment as the full time job.
you are right. but the risk is still big.

and the matter of staking in stablecoins is indeed safer than staking in other coins which are more volatile and also have the risk of continuous decline. But one of the obstacles is the capital required is quite large. because the percentage of profits obtained from staking stablecoins is very small.
And for me it is also a high risk. because staking means we put our assets on the exchange where we do staking. We have to take into account the worst that could happen like what happened to FTX recently.
So keeping our assets on the exchange is really very risky.
even now it seems that many people have withdrawn their assets from the exchange and transferred to personal wallets, be it hol wallets or cold wallets.

Online jobs are always at the top of my list, and I would rather do online jobs than a regular 9-5 job.

Luckily, I'm on a state where I love what I'm doing but at the same time, earning from it and it is enough to cover all of our expenses and at the same time, I still have a portion of my income to be used to invest into different assets. Being fired by a company isn't good especially if you sacrificed anything from it. We've seen tech companies laying off employees or freezing their job hiring because of what's happening globally.

Finding job that you love is always the choice for me although there are some people who love to go out of their comfort zone so that they will learn more that will help them in getting jobs easier in the future.

If you can look for a good job the quicker way, the better it will be than to just relax yourself first before finding a new job. Time is precious so you have to take every chances to make an income particularly if you are the sole provider in the family. However, taking full time investments is good especially if you are into bitcoin, but it will be very risky to focus in investing when you don’t even have a stable job that provides you a secure income.
Agree with that, preferably before losing your job or getting laid off you should be able to find a solution to have a secure income from other means and investing in crypto or shifting jobs online should be done part time because someone who has the responsibility of being a breadwinner, of course, is relying  main source of income

Of course, everyone has different abilities and has his own life choices

Many people are complacent with work so that when they enter old age or retire and the pension is only for a few months then they will regret it, it's time for the government to carry out a massive campaign for citizens to want to invest from a young age, don't be complacent with active income so that if you don't work then will lose income.
It is never going to work, this is the reason governments had to force people to save for their future in retirement funds so they did not spend all their money during their youth and found themselves with nothing when they were older, however if you are one of the few people which can do this during their youth I can assure you your life will be very easy once you enter old age as you will have no money problems, unlike with what we see with a lot of people which depend exclusively from their retirement funds.

I personally don't have a better advice than seeking for a job online. There are so many opportunities there. True, those jobs can be very low-paid, but in that case we should try find several jobs, discarding those that take a lot of our time. I also want to add that "full-time investment in cryptocurrency" is not a job. You have to have a stable weekly, or monthly, income from your work, and there's a really low chance, it's almost zero actually, that you will get that from investing in cryptos.

It's always good or necessary to have a backup inform of investment or learning some skills such trading or programming skills to freelance because if you work in a company and as result of economic uncertainties such as recession in the global economy this will force a lot of companies to downsize just as what we are currently experiencing globally, personally I had learnt trading both crypto and forex initially started with crypto have diverted to forex trading despite having a day job, in case of any pay cut or downsizing I will definitely fall back to full time trading.

What online jobs? Online jobs are so scarce like any other kind of physical job. And for investments you need money. Since without a job there isn't money, investments won't be possible as well...

If you were fired by the company, would you still find a job you love as quickly as possible?
I would look for a new job as quickly as possible, however it's not possible to assure I'm going to have success on doing this, because as I said above, jobs are too scarce right now.

Never give up looking for a work which will guarantee you a decent income, peace of spirit and personal fulfillment. Maybe you have to be creative to create your own work by yourself and present it to the people around you.

I didn't think about what i would do if i was fired. It is a fact that life does not always go the same way. That's why we have to get ourselves a hobby that we love to do and in case of possible dismissal we need to take steps to turn our hobby into a job. But making an income online can be easy. I can consider becoming a cryptocurrency investor as the first option. After receiving sufficient research and training in this field i can generate income outside of my business life by creating passive income for myself. Afterwards, i would like to give all my energy to the crypto field after i have enough income. The online trade idea might also be good. While working, i can also deal with online trading. Nothing in this life is guaranteed so i think we have to provide passive income.

Do we need to switch our jobs to online jobs or a full-time investment in cryptocurrency?
Under the current situation, "full-time investment job" seems incredibly risky, and its not something that you can do without having big amount of money. Or by that you meant trading, but for you to turn that into a full time job you need to be an excellent trader, and you can become that only after years of hard work, learning and a lot of money lost in the process.
Right now, that does look like it would be quite difficult to handle, and I know that investment sounds like something you would do and calculate short periods of time, because you would need money to live, but that doesn't have to be the case if you reach to a high amount.

For example, if you have about 200k give or take to put on staking, that means you could make a living out of that alone, then whatever else you do would be just extra long term investment for the future profits, not to withdraw, but to grow net worth. This means it is only about the size of the fund we are talking about, anyone above 200k could make a living out of this and when the bull run comes there will be plenty of people who will have 200k+ dollars.

If 200k$ is all your assets and you decide to put it on a centralized exchange then I think you are taking the riskiest route and its a crazy idea.
Cryptocurrency investing is inherently risky and becomes even more risky when you put your money in a centralized platform for staking, even if it is binance there is no 100% guarantee for you.
I understand your idea is great, you are talking about creating a passive income stream, but it is not quite right to put all our money in crypto. Never put all your eggs in one basket.

I will agree with your statement even it is binance which is already been trusted by many invetstors but we still don't have any control if how future will be.

But it's your money and your decision to make, if you are ready to take that big risk putting that huge
amount of investment, then so be it.

No one will control you with your own money, your decision is always the last thing that will happe.

Investment is work based on the will of each individual, but if the government makes a campaign only for investment matters, it will look a little ridiculous because not all governments like the crypto space even though investment in other fields is no worse to run, because the goal of all investment is to get profit, but investment must also be done repeatedly after someone gets a profit. So it's also not so relaxing to run as the risk is still there.

taking a break to calm the mind is not a bad move. But that doesn't mean we don't think about the future. Instead, the moment of rest should be used as an opportunity to plan for the future. or look for opportunities and evaluate yourself to be better. but I don't recommend making crypto investing or trading your main job. because crypto investment is more suitable as a side and future investment. whereas ordinary work is needed to make money to meet our daily and monthly needs. and set aside a little to save and invest. maybe there are people out there who can make investing their main job. but I don't think many people do it or we rarely see one who does.

That's literally one of the worst ideas I heard lately. Haven't you noticed what happened with staking platforms like Celsius and now recently BlockFi? Given their track record, you have to be crazy to put that amount of money in any centralized platform as chances are that you won't even be able to pick up that profit before they get busted.

If you have some extra money and want to invest in crypto, my advice is to keep it simple: just buy bitcoin, store it in your own non-custodial wallet and forget about it for a couple of years.

It’s good to relax your mind first before you set yourself to find another job. However, if you’re the only one who will put food on the table and provide the needs of your family, then for sure you will not find yourself relaxing as it’s better to grab any opportunity that might provide an income just to continue providing the needs of your family. And maybe start investing only when you find a stable job that helps you earn extra money.

Very few people actually have the ability to become full time traders or investors, and even if you had the ability you also need the capital which is even harder to get, so at most becoming a trader is a side job and it cannot be used to pay all your bills, so if you lose your job you still need to get a new one, now depending on what you do you could also begin your own small business, however we must remember that the economy is still not in a good shape and as such there is a high probability your small business would not succeed either.

I treat my job as something that is near and dear to me that you can say that I treat it as a full-time investment. I attend seminars, workshops, and every convention that may help me gain more knowledge and skills that relates to my job to gain more projects and manage more workforce. I've been only in this work for 4 or 5 years, but I'm already promoted thrice in this difficult field. I like meddling with crypto investments and such, and I can honestly leave my work today and live comfortably for 1 whole year while still having a nice capital for crypto investments, but I think I'll stick to what I'm doing right that I know I do best. Crypto is very volatile, and it needs a lot of time and effort to be in the game for long and I don't think I can put too much in it now that I'm enjoying everything in my work.

I don't think it's wise to be at the mercy of someone all the time, watching yourself to not fault a policy (although, your not supposed to fault a policy even in your own organisation) and even when you don't, you sty in constant fear for your job based on the changing circumstances.

Nothing stops you from starting up something from the funds you've generated over time. It comes with some guarantee and offers securities to your job should there be reasons to cut down jobs and being at risk of loosing your job could imply you weren't at your very best.

Having a plan to go for a full time investment in cryptocurrency is good but you also need a job.

True, cryptocurrency investment is one of the hottest trend of investment today but not all investment produce good outcome.  Besides, established cryptocurrency often needs a long term investment in order to realize our profit.  If we don't have that much money that will support us for a year or two, we must planned the transition carefully.  So leaving the job is not an option here.

It is terrible to depend in your investment as a source for leaving .

True because the cryptomarket is highly volatile, today its ok, but tomorrow is not.  Having that kind of the main source of income will put us in financial stress.

Economic conditions are indeed difficult and this also has an impact on cryptocurrencies, the average market drop is more than 20% this week and makes investors cry, many panic and choose to sell with loss and look for other types of investment, the thing we need to think about is that investment In addition to income, of course we must have many sources of income.

It is a good practice not just to rely on one source of income but instead, if possible, to have more sources of financial
investments as it can support your losses.

More on your knowledge and how ready you are when a difficult time like this takes place,
it's not an easy journey since there are many factors that you need to learn, but if you
already gained enough experienced maybe you can focus on this business and see if you
can support your financial needs by dealing with your investment.

when indeed you are fired from the company, the option to calm down first is the most effective in my opinion, rather than directly looking for a replacement job directly.
but maybe the condition of each person is different, depending on how the situation, and needs. A wise decision is a decision that considers the current situation first.

I can't give you more advice, as I don't really know your current situation.
As long as you are still working in the company, I think showing the best performance at work is the solution, basically the company will retain employees with the best integrity.

The answer is colorful and varies from person to person. I still love freelancing, but investing is only part of what I do, not everything. In addition to my job, I will choose to do some investment and financial management. As DAO organizations are popular now, perhaps new forms of work will emerge in the future, based on work. Of course the competition is still fierce. Therefore, it is necessary for us to continue to learn and improve our professional skills.

It is easier said than done, I still vote for offline jobs to be the most reliable and dependable if you want to earn well for a living. Online jobs/hustling/investments as the case may be are supposed to be earning you passive income if you do not want to put pressure on yourself. Specifically, dealing with cryptocurrency is risky, people hardly have high reliability on it, especially if they are not such that is well informed about it. Every risky/leveraged asset is not for the weak, though some still survive on them alone.

I wrote a similar post a few days back as well, a full-time investment cannot be a substitute of any kind of work that you do in your daily life until you have invested like 5 million dollars into a fixed fund which gives you back 200-250k in sort of fixed income each year. Only these sorts of investments can become substitutes of full-time job because other than this markets like crypto are very volatile you'll see it dipping and bearish for 24 months and then it will boom for some time, your daily needs cannot wait for that much long of a time and neither can you create such a big emergency fund for yourselves as well. So it's better to just avoid such thoughts and find a new job which may be right after you are fired or after some while.

He told us that he has saved a lot of money through crypto and that he has also made a lot of money with crypto as well. I think in this case, he knows what he's doing, but he's still not confident enough to make a decision and needs to consult everyone. As long as he has enough knowledge and confidence that he can do better with online work then he can get started with it. Switching jobs is sometimes a risk but sometimes another great opportunity for us to achieve greater success, as long as we have backup plans in place.

You can invest as a side hustle outside of your day job, but it is not recommended to be a full-time job. Many traders are professional and they live investing every day. They have enough experience to make full-time investments. If you get fired from the company and you want to be a full-time trader, do you have enough money to invest? In addition to the investment money, you must have enough money for your daily life. To prevent accidents from happening, money is urgently needed.
Money is indeed something that many people always need and seek, so it's no wonder that everyone wants to have more than one type of job in order to increase their income. Being a full-time investor is obviously very good and there is nothing wrong as long as one is able to do it properly and wisely because investing in valuable assets is something that is highly recommended and permissible as long as it can be very profitable.

But if you feel burdened with finances in life, it is better to work to earn money on a daily basis than to make investments whose profits are also uncertain and must always understand the risks.

I cannot consider cryptocurrency investment or trading as a permanent job or something that you can do to make a stable income. Not unless you are getting stable money to trade, or working as a blockchain developer or any stable blockchain job. Online job is in demand nowadays, there are businesses that are looking for virtual assistant around the world and you can find them online depending on what skills you can offer. I've worked in onsite since I graduated college and took the risk of quitting my job and starting working online about a year ago. The opportunity and pay is way better since you get to choose what kind of job you do, and even apply for several jobs as long as there's no conflict with your current job or work hours. There are a lot of ways to find stable means to earn and provide for your family, you just need to look for them. Nothing is stable that's why it's safe to always have a backup plan or back means to earn.

Having a full and stable job is good enough, but if you know you can always grow your income because you have the skills and knowledge to pursue on it, then why not? As long as you put passion in your work, regardless if it’s offline or online, that will guarantee success. After all, once we have our own family, we don’t get to work for our own self, but definitely for the benefits that the whole family can get.
Those that I know that have full time job felt the burning out and that's the time they have come to realize that corporate is taking most of their times and they have to do something with it.
That's why, they've learned new and better skills that will make them work easier and get a better job for which they can work flexible at any time as they wish. And those that are still stuck in the typical office setup, they have to upgrade to and make themselves open into working remotely. There are now more opportunities that have been set there for everyone.

I believe it can be, if:
- We have a lot of money to support our lives without having to work.
- We already have our own business, so we will not be confused if we will invest using free money.
- We have several online and offline investments such as investments in business, property, gold, stocks, and cryptocurrencies so that we can get regular and definite passive income without having to work

However, if we don't have anything, then the situation is even more worrying than worrying about being fired from work. So, while we are still working, maximize the results, and don't forget to set aside salary money for future savings and also for investment.
Generally, we need to have multiple sources of income to say that we are safe from financial problems. In this current situation, it is very important to have at least a job to provide our necessities and financial security, if we can see there is an opportunity in the crypto world, make this another option. It is indeed we need to maximize our time and never waste it doing unnecessary things because it was really hard to survive and live comfortably when just depending on a single source of income/job salary.

It is terrible to depend in your investment as a source for leaving .  The best  thing to do is to find a new job or involve in a business that you can depend on, a job will also help you to build and support your investment.  Starting and investment and you don't have any plans on how to develop it may later fail . If at all you are to depend on your investment it shouldn't be at the early stage of it, maybe during the stage when it is big enough.

Do we need to switch our jobs to online jobs or a full-time investment in cryptocurrency?
Online jobs and full time investment in cryptocurrency is kind of easy, because you will be working from house, but to be honest I won't advice anyone to completely depend on online jobs because anything can happen to the site at any moment, which incase if anything happens you have to start looking for another job online, which you might not get easily, online job is kind of difficult to get for people in my country, so whenever you lose the opportunity you are having, it will be difficult to get another one.

People think cryptocurrency is a easy way to make money, it might be a easy way to make money during a bull run, but what will happen during the bear market, like the current condition which we are, not everyone can be making money from cryptocurrency during the bear market, so incase when their is bear market how are you going to survive it? Or are you going to sell your investments at lost?
In conclusion I think both cryptocurrency investment and online job shouldn't be a full term job, it should be other source of income.
If you were fired by the company, would you still find a job you love as quickly as possible?Or you might choose to relax your mind and look for work again after a while.

I think it's optional, you might want to have a rest first before getting another job, probably you are having other source of income or maybe you are having enough money with you at that moment.

I would suggest people to have some backup earning method in place even after having a full day job. The current situation of the economy many people may face joblessness where in the backup ends up being a lifesaver.

Cryptocurrency investment is an investment in the first place and so cannot be considered as a backup but a side hustle at the most. I am sure the OP is not one of the bigger pro traders out there, otherwise they would not be asking this question.

Therefore the chance of losing money is very high if done in the wrong manner. Better to look for more "physical" jobs than bitcoin investment.
That’s not possible for everyone unfortunately. I am earning very good amount of money from my salary, I am very happy about it and I do not "need" extra money, of course just like everyone in the world I wouldn't say no to extra money, but wanting and needing it are different things and I do not "need" any right now.

However, even if I needed it, if my job didn't pay this well, then I wouldn't be able to earn more from anywhere else because I do not have any time left, between life and work, I have no time left to work another job, or do anything extra. I do have some ideas that I want to turn into reality, but unfortunately, I cannot do that for now because I lack the time for it.

There were some cases that people still try to look for another job while being in a stable job. Let's say you work under the government where people claim that there are no career growth plus the pay is......mediocre if not great then after that, people would look to work under F.A.A.N.G (Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix and Google). I am aware of the recent layoffs from Facebook, but I am just putting it as an example on how people would still consider job hopping just for the sake of their career growth.

There are just those people that are not too contented with their "stable" pay and would still look for other opportunities if possible.

I think you are missing the point here, investing and earning are both different phases of our lives. You earn when you work for it and you invest to earn but you invest you need money. Most of the times these investment has to be your spare money and not the one which is needed for survival. I think investing full time does not exist. You can invest your time on earning money, earning crypto or trading crypto. But you have to have huge bucks lying around your house mate.  Wink

If we are still hired, it is not a smart move to leave our job and start our online careers. We can try to a lot time to that career slowly until the earnings on that one outweighs our job earnings, but still I won't advice to quit your job.  It is better to have more source of income.

Acquiring and improving our skills will be a big help for us to grab more opportunities from the latest technology-related fields. In the current economic condition where everything is getting expensive, a single job isn't reliable anymore. There should be a part-time or spare job that we should be doing. Crypto Investment would also be a good opportunity to earn and prepare for the future. There are also job opportunities that blockchain technology offers and we only have to be fully equipped with the knowledge about it.
Ive been doing this for how many years and grateful that i do able to make myself do sustain despite on having a day job which i did really able to handle some crypto jobs and other related things which did really

give out some chance for me to make profits. Its really that hard considering you do really need to have a proper time management because if you dont really have this then you cant really be able to handle yourself
on lots of things to get involved into specially having a day job plus having some other things like investment and crypto thingy. Its true that prices do comes high but the salary do still remain the same which means its a total mess up or disaster on someone who doesnt really find ways on how they would really be making their survival on not to find other sources.
So it would be wise if you do really make your step and dont really make yourself behind.

I think we need to be more flexible at this troubled time. We take every opportunity available around as long as we are capable enough to do it. If we are comfortable working online, then go for it. Well, investing in crypto could be just considered a side hustle. Don't focus on it as it was even more stressful, really.
If we are in a full-time job, we can also do part-time. Might be hard but at this time, seems we don't need to think about it but rather think about what we can do to increase our income as long as we are not compromising our health.

Crypto jobs vacancy is determined by market taste, companies employ more staff during the bull run and lay off many during the bear market. However, if you are a developer that is good at programming, most of the crypto jobs are remote, you need to leave your home to meet the company that wants to employ you, if they want to hire you, they will do an online interview for you and if you are suited for the job role, they will hire you. The advantage of these roles is that programming is similar just that they differ in syntax and arrangements, you can switch easily like a pro and get familiar as if you have been there.

The best thing you could do for online jobs are doing commission-based jobs. Even then you can't just rely with it because sometimes you can't get customers in several days or even weeks if you are unlucky. Also it requires some skill before offering your skill to the customers, if you don't have that then you have to learn it first. It might be better to start new skill during your free time for worst possible case.
Sometimes you could possibly get a long-term customer. Let's say you are a web dev and your customer AKA your client wants you to maintain their site and add new features as pleased, it almost becomes like a full-time job except that you do not need to be present at all times since you are just freelancing for them and not really a full-time employee under their business or company.

You are really accurate that it requires a skills, specifically marketing skill, to offer your skill to clients. How would you sell yourself to prospective clients while standing out to hundreds to thousands of people trying to make a proposal to the said clients?  Pricing yourself is also another one thing to consider when doing these. Are you undervaluing or overvaluing youself?

Please let me continue. I've been into cryptocurrencies for a long time, and for a while I did full-time investing in cryptocurrencies. Made a lot of money in cryptocurrencies, but also lost a lot of money (I think this is normal, no one can make money all the time).
The company I work for is not doing well right now. With layoffs in mind, I think I should find a way back for myself. I have also saved a lot of money over the years. I want to immigrate to Ireland, I love it, but I learned through friends that cryptocurrencies are banned in Ireland, so I'm wondering if investing in cryptocurrencies should be my main job.

Well, you already have experience in the market and you already know all the benefits and risks that cryptocurrency offers you, I think you don't need to ask anyone else but you can decide for yourself because no one understands you better than yourself.
If Ireland bans cryptocurrencies and you move there, you won't be able to fulfill your intentions. I don't know what the law is in Ireland, but I advise you not to break it, it puts you at great risk. You need to research carefully before deciding to move there.

Investing is risky and you cannot rely solely on cryptocurrency investments.

In todays era, then everything cant really be sure off even with your day stable job which it cant guarantee that you would really be remaining forever which it would really be just wise for you to do so

on finding another source of income or lets just say as a side income or job which you could able to sustain yourself and made out more money aside from your salary on which you could really make

out some savings and potentially could able to make out some investment. The more the better since you could be having various sources and on the time that there were some laying off
situations then you could be able to bare it out such condition.

It does. In the current situation, many jobs have become unstable, and the crypto market is not very prosperous. It is not optimistic to rely on investment to make profits. There are many ways to obtain income to meet daily needs.

As you said, you have prepared yourself a large amount of money and you have also experienced in the crypto space, even made a lot of money from it. With all these good factors, switching to full-time crypto investing is a logical decision for you, I think there should be no problem for you, but your problem is a legal one, I'm not from Ireland so can't give you advice in this case.
You try to find a native and ask explicitly about using crypto there, how is it banned, whether they ban it completely or only partially. Like my country, they ban bitcoin as a payment method but still allow people to buy and sell cryptocurrency as a commodity.

so I'm wondering if investing in cryptocurrencies should be my main job.
Up to a certain amount of capital then yes, but it needs to be balanced with a good investment experience to guarantee that you will still earn even in the midst of crypto crashes.
The general advice that don't invest in high volatility makes sense when looking at the timing of making ends meet cannot be tolerated in any way. On the other hand, you have to tolerate a lot to enjoy investment returns, even more so as the current market conditions seem impossible.

Do you make investing your main job? Like an analyst?
You have to have enough experience. To be honest, this industry can make a lot of money, but it is very dangerous. It is very likely that you will become nothing in an instant. You must make enough money first. Think of investing in cryptocurrencies as a side business.

Perhaps instead of asking whether one could still find a job one loves if one is fired from his/her company, the pertinent question probably is: do you even love your job? If you have the money, would you still be doing the same job today? Is that the kind of job that you dreamed of when you were young, promising, hopeful, and idealistic?

If you really love your job and not only forced to take it for the sake of supporting your existence, then why move to another one? Either way, however, investment in cryptocurrency is not a replacement for a job that pays regularly.

Do we need to switch our jobs to online jobs or a full-time investment in cryptocurrency?
Why not? Online jobs are indemand nowadays (e.g virtual assistant, cs representative, bpo home based etc.). It depends on your skills because many people are able to switch working from home. Aside from the convenience, the salary is also good. On the other side when it comes to crypto, you should be knowledgeable and has a capital to start. It's profitable but it takes time since you can't always profit specially during bearish season. If you're going to be a trader, experience and strategy are necessary. You can work full time but the income might not be stable.

If you were fired by the company, would you still find a job you love as quickly as possible?Or you might choose to relax your mind and look for work again after a while.
Do you have better advice for work?
You can answer this for yourself because if you have a family to feed and don't have savings it's a must to find a job as soon as possible. We can't say if you can find one quickly since this depends on what kind of job you're applying for plus your qualification.

This is a trying time for us now especially those people that are salary earners. Companies are into difficult time now and they had reduced their workers just because if what is currently happening now that things are becoming expensive whereby paying workers might looks very hard for some companies. Even though what we are doing now can not be generalized as a full term job because there are some person that are looking for an extra paying job, we still need to had in to what we are doing to pay bills and settle other things.

Do we need to switch our jobs to online jobs or a full-time investment in cryptocurrency?
No need to switch jobs, just add more jobs.
If you have a good job in real life, you need to continue your job. Online jobs should be side jobs, don't rely on the jobs only.

Full-time investment is not an ideal job to get a regular income. This job only works if you have extra money and eager to wait for the profits a long time.

If you were fired by the company, would you still find a job you love as quickly as possible?
We can expect to get a new job as quickly as possible, it depends on how lucky we are.
That's why we need to have side jobs. It will be very helpful if we are fired from our main jobs.

Yup, it's best to prepare a backup plan for yourself, especially in tough economic times like today. But like what you said, you are still working at a company, they have not decided to fire you, there is no reason for you to quit. Why not do both at the same time to increase your income because you can invest in your spare time?

Investing can be profitable but can also have losses so don't make it a full-time job. It's not a wise choice but an online job or online business is not a bad idea as it is stable and risk-free compared to investment.

from what we are facing today, it is best to have other sources of income and not rely on only one. if you can accommodate another job or hobby, that will give you extra income, why not? being prepared is better rather than wasting your time and money to unnecessary things. we are faced by uncertainties, so help yourself while you can.

One of the risks of working for a company, agency, institution, or otherwise, is that we do not know when we will leave or be laid off from the job. This does not guarantee, unless we are civil servants, maybe this will be different although it does not guarantee 100%. However, only relying on online work or investing in cryptocurrency 100% is also not a wise and good way, because this will also not guarantee 100%.

Then what should we do? This is the importance of having good self-management and self-improvement all the time. It would be better if we still have a job or business in the offline world. However, it would be better if we have side jobs or other activities even if only for a while in the online field. The online field is not just cryptocurrencies. But if you really want to be in the crypto business world, it would be better if we go deeper and understand it first. Regarding investment, if we invest in altcoins, the risk will be very large, especially if it is shitcoins. Therefore, investing in Bitcoin will be better, it does not guarantee 100% but if for the long term, then this will generate better and more profits.
Voluntary resign or being laid off which these are the only things which could possibly happen into you when you are really having that day job which you cant really be having an assurance that you could really be having

a job like forever. This is why having an investment is the most ideal action to be made up by someone.Just like the rest been saying is that if you do have the investment or other various sources of income then

you could really be able to survive when it comes or pertains about having money since you could buy everything that you do need which is far more better compared
into those people who had none other sources.

From the title of the topic, I understood whether it was possible to convert the paid work into a fixed investment.
If you are able to invest in your effort, knowledge or money, the recession period in the global economy may not affect your economic balance much, especially if the profits are fruitful.
Investing in digital currencies is a good opportunity to increase income, but it cannot be relied upon alone, but it is desirable that it be in the form of a second job. It is also recommended that the investment be very thoughtful before trying it, whether it is in crypto or any of the digital assets.

Do we need to switch our jobs to online jobs or a full-time investment in cryptocurrency?
The best thing you could do for online jobs are doing commission-based jobs. Even then you can't just rely with it because sometimes you can't get customers in several days or even weeks if you are unlucky. Also it requires some skill before offering your skill to the customers, if you don't have that then you have to learn it first. It might be better to start new skill during your free time for worst possible case.

If you were fired by the company, would you still find a job you love as quickly as possible?Or you might choose to relax your mind and look for work again after a while.

That's true and that is because of the recession but we shouldn't overthink about the future or what can happen tomorrow. What important is today. We should focus on the present time. As long as we still have our jobs, there is still a hope.

We don't know what if we will get promoted and our salary will increase instead of being kicked out? No need to switch out to online jobs unless if it was advised by your boss because some positions now have been switched to online for a while due to the pandemic. Investments on the other hand can't be done in full time but they work better for long term. If only you will say trading then that is more possible.

In this period of economic unrest it is very important to maximize any employment or business opportunity that shows up for you. Government and private sector jobs are currently unpredictable, therefore every worker should have a plan B or business idea that can be executed at any given time. I have never seen any full time professional crypto trader in my life. All of them I know are doing crypto trading or investments as a side job because they all have full-time jobs.

If you are sure that you have gotten the requisite skills or expertise to successfully make profits from the crypto space that would be able to meet your basic needs, then switching to cypto trading might not be a bad idea. But if you are not sure of your expertise, please stick to your jog or search for another if you lose your job.

The dirty secret sometimes is have another source of income aside from your 9-5 job. There are people thinking that they are living comfortably with their 9-5 job in a private company but then they will realize how vulnerable they are to be laid off at any time. It is quite scary if you would ask me unless you are working under the government.

While I work full time, I do freelancing sometimes and what I freelance varies from mini web dev services (some small fixes to websites) to something more.....easier which is just data entry. Sure, it would be a little bit less of an income compared to what I earn full-time, but at least I would still be sane after accomplishing both sides. From that, if I was laid off from my 9-5 job, I would not hustle myself finding another one and I could put my mind at ease while applying for job.

That is why we must have other sources of income apart from our regular jobs. Actually, if we have prepared this from the beginning we will not be confused to find steps if we have to be dismissed from the company where we work. Previously a lot of time for us to work on our own skills and try to do business as a side job. However, this has become a habit, including myself, who will only start if the situation is really urgent, such as being fired from the company.
To work full time in cryptocurrency investing will require a huge amount of capital. And it must be remembered that investing will not always be profitable. So there will be a very big risk too if you do this without any other financial source.

The financial and social situation is what determines the speed of your return to work. Everyone does not like to see his wallet or assets collapse and he needs to pay bills and buy food and drink.
Also, unplanned employment in the year 2020 is a big problem, as it has become difficult to borrow and therefore employment must be reduced.

Overall, it is a good opportunity to practice something new and build skills.

If you want to become a full time investor no matter its either cryptocurrency or any other form of assets then you need to have multiple sources of income which can satisfy your financial needs but you're talking about job so for a salaried class person it is impossible unless they have saved few hundred thousands in the banks.

Op I think you need to be asked some questions here. What kind of work do you do that you want to switched to online ? This is because you have to know yourself and the work you do if it fit online and you have to be proficient with the online operation like use of computer or your internet enable phone. Before I forget, beware of scammers.
Another point is talking on full time cryptocurrency investment, how is this possible ? Do you have people you know that are doing it? This is not easy to do, you need to have some business that you can take up incase something goes wrong with your crypto investment. I suggest you keep to what you are doing already or don't jump into what you are asking it looks you are yet to put your hands on what you want.

I agree, and the important point in investing is not to make it your main income and what you have to realize is that investment cannot be used as your main income because all forms of investment are for a certain period of time. Both short term and long term unless you trade it you can do it full time but it's not that easy.
doing online work is not difficult, you can do it according to your ability or expertise or many examples are done by many people and you can learn it depending on your effort and hard work because you know your abilities better, and nothing is difficult unless you are lazy. And in the current situation we have to be smart and creative to produce.

I don't know how long you've been in the market and what experience you have, but I wouldn't recommend looking at crypto investing as a full-time job. Cryptocurrencies are risky, whether it is a bear market or a bull market, there is no guarantee that you will always win in the market.
If you have crypto knowledge and skills, you can apply for jobs in startups or blockchain companies, that would be a good idea. Never think that investing in bitcoin or becoming a day trader will replace your main job.
Crisis and unemployment are happening everywhere, if you are still an employee of the company, try to give your best instead of thinking that there will be a better place for you right now.

You can't depend on cryptocurrency trading alone if you want to take it as a full time job then you should know the risk involved and be an expert in trading. Working online doesn't mean that you can't also work offline. If it is a full time business and not cryptocurrency you should consider having a huge amount of funds and proper business plan which might not be easy at first

If I get fired by my boss, I wouldn't relax for awhile the reason is because I have many responsibilities to carter for as a family man. I will get a new job instantly because  am a professional in my skill in addition with my online work. One shouldn't be lazy nowadays with the high rate of inflation that we are experiencing in the world

If you're trading crypto right now or have been in the last couple of days, yikes!  I can't imagine doing that as a job, but I bet you there are members here who do just that.
I know a couple of people that are regularly trading (one of them is pro and living solely off that and few that are pretty good at it but its still just something that they do on a side) and all of them absolutely killed it in the last few days. From what they told me, good traders shouldn't really care that much whether its bull or bear market as long there is some volatility and there wasn't lack of that lately. As a matter of fact, that pro guy I know performs better during bear market as he is better at shorting.

But yeah I have to agree with you, I can't imagine doing that for a job and I would rather do the most tedious manual job than that as I simply don't have the stomach and patience for it. DCA+hold worked pretty good
for me so no need to change the approach.

Eh, I couldn't even say it's risky since I don't know exactly what OP means--switching your job for "full-time investment in cryptocurrency" just doesn't compute.  I'd say if you've got a job, stick with it if you want to eat.  If you're trading crypto right now or have been in the last couple of days, yikes!  I can't imagine doing that as a job, but I bet you there are members here who do just that.

Now is the time to be saving money IMO, particularly if you have a job that might be in jeopardy.  This economy is really spooky if you ask me, so that old advice of having at least 6 months worth of living expenses set aside for emergencies sounds very wise (if you can manage it; I never could).

Or you might choose to relax your mind and look for work again after a while.
This is what I do, which is to take a break from the completed work phase and start again when my mental state has improved enough. There are times when we must try to control ourselves and think about a mature decision to start over with a new job and a new atmosphere. Therefore, the self-calming phase is often effective rather than having to rush to find another job quickly but the mental state and mind are still present in the old job.

I speak from experience, and so far the process of resting my mind for a while has made me much more mature in making decisions. Whether it's switching to an online job or staying on both.

Investing doesn't mean that you need to exert the same force and effort just as you're working for a company. Wise people keep both until they're able to survive for so long daily with what they have made with their investments.

If you were fired by the company, would you still find a job you love as quickly as possible?Or you might choose to relax your mind and look for work again after a while.
I'll take my time to relax and at the same time upskill so that I'll get paid higher than the last time my company has fired me. It doesn't sound good if the next employer you'll have or for the next job interview you'll have, you'll say that you've been fired.

That's why, unwinding would be a good thing to do just after that frustration.

Are you able to switch to online, do you have your own business? Investment in cryptocurrency full time and to relying on it only can fail.

Don't wait to be fire. Update and upgrade your self if you are already working on a job. If you fire from a company and you don't have high skill, you will find it difficult to get another job.

Or by that you meant trading, but for you to turn that into a full time job you need to be an excellent trader, and you can become that only after years of hard work, learning and a lot of money lost in the process.

I am lucky that I am working the job I like so I wouldn't wait for a second before finding a new one, but even if that wasn't the case I wouldn't relax and wait as you have to keep paying bills and on top of that, I need fiat to buy more of that bitcoin that is currently on the big discount.
