You're forgetting about hacked PayPal accounts with bank accounts linked to them. Echeck may clear but what do you think happens when the owner of said bank account notices charges?

It's not safe.

I dint take into account this possibility but since echecks take 5-7 days to clear, it may just reduce the risk of getting chargedback. But still there are possibilities of the transaction getting reversed till 180 days.

i suggest you avoid dealing with dodgy people that offer Paypal as the payment method at all costs, even with PP mycash or PP echecks. Your problems will go away automatically.

There is always a way to chargeback with PP... So really be careful.

It would be safer to assume that PayPal can do whatever they want.
There's always a chance of a chargeback with those kinds of services. It may be small but it's up to you if it's worth it.

DO NOT USE PAYPAL AT ALL WITH BITCOIN.

These scammers can do a Instant Bank Transfer and your payment will be reversed within 1-2 weeks, also I am pretty sure if it is a hacked paypal account even if paid with a 5-7 day wait echeck it can be reversed.

STOP USING PAYPAL WITH BITCOIN!

I read somewhere that echecks can probably not be chargedback/reversed. The only thing is that it can take 5-7 days for it to be cleared. Since I have an experience of receiving e-checks, it would be better use echeck as an option while dealing for BTC->PayPal trades if in case these transactions are not chargedback.
