If you do pick a bot, make sure it is open source and not a scam.

Could anyone recommend a bot and or share some resources on how to use a bot and what a bot does? Thanks!

I wouldn't recommend a bot as it's very risky, I know it's hard to learn but just  get a e w videos from meta 4 trader and other like minded websites and you should be home and dry in a few weeks or a month. I think from then you can trade virtually to attain some experience before the real deal. It's hard to sacrifice time to study all that but think what your ignorance of how to trade can make you loose or the boy for that matter?

There are lot of trading bots are available, if you just google.
But unfortunately I'm not recommending any of them to you as in my experience I was not successful with any bots for my bitcoin trading. I'm generating better results manually than what I had done with trading bots.

Many people I know lost a lot of money using bot, but bots is best using when you know what the market is and how it works.

One can only lose a lot of money, if they put a lot of money on the table.  If you try some bot trading with 0.02 BTC and no leverage, in worst case you lose 0.02 BTC which is ~20 US$.  Sure, if you get greedy and and want to get rich fast and do trades with thousands of dollar and a leverage ratio 1:3 you can lose a lot of money.

But this is the nice stuff about BTC-trading.  You can trade with a very tiny amount of money and extremely low fees (0.2x%).  This is not really possible in fiat-world.  Too high fees that it can be profitable in any way without putting thousands of dollar to the test.

I couldn't. Average people wasn't using a bot for making the trade. Average bots were having a lot of risks and I won't recommend you for using the bot to do your trading, dude.

I will also not recommend bot for you expect you are professional trader and need bot to automate your strategy. Many people I know lost a lot of money using bot, but bots is best using when you know what the market is and how it works. Many traders  entrusted their hard earned money on bots only to find out that they whole capital has been wiped out.

I'm using Gekko (find it on GitHub) trade bot.  This one is quite awesome – especially as it's a free one.  Supporting most major exchanges and it has a great ability to program your own trading strategies/methods.  With support for ta-lib and a great API to implement your own strategy lib.  So, if you have some developer skills in NodeJS it's worth a look.  You can run it for triggering signals (per mail, Pushbullet, IRC, …) or for bot trading (use w/ caution and closely watch market in parallel).

I'm currently running Gekko with a Gann Swing strategy against Poloniex as signal trigger.

Massive price drop coming...
For me i could not recommend any bot. its too risky to use it is better to do it manually to manage your own methods to make profit..
And the risk that you can get in bot is draining of your funds getting your password from the hacker.
Those case i think sometimes it can not detected in anti virus if they are added a script which is encrypted that is impossible to scan by any anti virus..

First and foremost be careful while downloading and using a bot because sometimes you might lose your coins if you do so and with the price of bitcoin rising on a daily basis hackers will find many ways to see find a victim .I have seen many complaints from gambling sites where people lost their balance after loging in from the bot.

No, i'm not recommend it.
The logic is, the trend for price movement is run everyday, it's not same as yesterday, also some factors is can affect the price. However bot is do an algorithm which it's not "real-time condition", the chance to lose even is bigger.

Trading Bot has a function to facilitate us to make a trade. With bot we do not have to watch screen because everything is regulated by a bot, including risk management factors. And usually bots available in the use Metatrader trading platform. To run the bot should to be more careful because it usually can not be run with the maximum or even become a loss. Very difficult to find a good bot. Maybe my suggestion if you want to trade it is better to not use bots.

No I Can't Recommend you a trading not because if you do trading with bots then there is big risks of losing funds and also it is not allowed on all Trading Websites and if you use bots then your trading account will be blocked by the Trading website Team. So I Recommend you never Use a Trading Bot.

I'm working on such bots. I dont think, you can expect 'guaranteed' profits, but a bot can make profit, where a human trader is lost. But the opposite is also correct in some situations.

I haven't used any trading bot till now and i don't think i gonna use any of them in future too. You can't make guaranteed profit trading with bot like they claim and also trusting bot/third party is quite risky.

C.A.T. has been around for a while and although i have not used it myself but i have never heard anything bad about it.
and if you are a newbie in trading i suggest you don't use a bot for a while at least not until you learn how to trade on your own manually and make profit first.

Hi michellee. Great recommendations. But I have a few questions regarding these bots. Have you used them and can you give a short review which one is best? Are they beginner friendly? If someone is new to trading, will this be useful to them or will they just be lost? Hope you could help me and newbies to trading too. Thanks.
