I frequently find that using a search engine such as Google is far more effective than using the search built into the site.

You can tell Google to only show results from this forum by adding
Code:
site:bitcointalk.og

to the end of your search.

I prefer Zakir over Muhammed when mentioning me!
Thanks, I guess the easy answer is don't use the search box on the upper right.

I am sure there is a better way but the way I do it is I enter the amount of days I need to search for in "Message age" so if I want to search for recent posts/threads I enter 1-7 days for older threads I enter Betwen 60 - 90 so it will show the result for 2 month old threads/posts.

You can also set the search order to display "Most recent topics first"

Can someone tell me how to sort searches so the newest results come first (or last)?
