Just wanted to know since most exchanges practically would be aware of this news and would keep track of the movement of these coins. Is it possible for those who hacked the Bitfinex Bitcoins, be able to mix/tumble them either with other cryptocurrencies or online mixing services and then short them?
Do you think it's truly untraceable then?
I think they can but not all at once, because the total amount of bitcoin that was hacked is around 120,000BTC then the entire bitcoin mixers doesnt have this amount at least to mix the half or less of total coins.
At least cryptomixer has more than 2,000BTC + others that mix the coins there so I think it's impossible to mix 120,000BTC with this small amount.
