This is exactly what I wanted to reply to @Pmalek and @NeuroticFish; I am motivated solely by curiosity, regardless of the famous saying.
I know it's risky, so I'd take some precautions. After all, human curiosity has fuelled many great scientific achievements throughout history. And, of course, there's the saying, "Fortune favors the brave!" So... Grin
But the thing is, you have nothing to gain from downloading the material but a lot of things to lose. Watching it or reading it won't help you to learn anything. Let's say there is proof that social media/YouTube influencers are just paid shillers who will work with anyone ready to pay their fees and that they are deliberately misguiding their followers. Having confirmation and proof that things like that are true won't do you any good if you are already suspicious of their activities and distrust anything they advertise and say.

So can this be called a warning whether later never to visit what is given, including downloading files when they share, that sense of curiosity must be endured because it could spread the virus.

I believe this is an act of saving people while you also set another trap for them. The TikTok user shared a meaningful message but there's no need to download the files he/she provided.

Better ignore what you see on social media sites especially if those things doesn't cause to much harm to you and those information you read is maybe a click bait for you to get interest on and try what to execute their plans to attack you especially your funds on your wallet, if someone telling you to download any links they sent better shut it off because you might download a malware which can wreck you off.

Ignore and move to another reliable information that's the most important thing to do in that case.
You have a point, I  don't support downloading the file or clicking on the link but there's an important message in what the person said since
1) Telegram knew as the household of most crypto scammers
2) Crypto influencers advertising scam/pump and dump project while some rug pulls at some point.

There are so many things going on that are used to defraud investors.

Anyway, I would download the files to find out what it is all about. There is no harm in downloading, even if it is a virus.

Curiosity eventually killed the cat, but if you're really interested, at least protect yourself in case you download such files. Even if you have them in any form, I guess you know that it's a lot of reading?

do not trust accounts that give timings to publish something, whether it is good or bad. If you have any confidential details about an issue, post part of it and leave the rest on successive periods, but do not say I will publish on such and such a date.

  • I can't say for sure what that account is trying to say, but after seeing the raw data, that will be determined.
  • Do not try to download any file that you upload, even if it is a Word, Excel or PDF file.

This is the only truth there is to this. Not saying this guy doesn't have any transcripts, but presenting it in the aforementioned manner is suspicious at best. Honestly, I don't trust anyone who just randomly contacts you, in this sphere, it always indicates that it's some kind of scam. And yeah, the advice of not clicking on random links received in messages and e mails, I thought people learned that 20 years ago and that scams like that are fairly rare. As for scams mentioned in the message, It's not really a shock, and coming out with that info would really not reveal or solve anything.

In my opinion, this was simply meant to attract attention. 137.21GB of data? There must be a lot of transcripts of the conversations.

Maybe it's videos, otherwise I don't see that text communication would be of that size, even if it's data from 2019 to 2022. In addition, what some crypto influencers can find out that would be of some great importance? It's no secret that in the world of cryptocurrency, every minute a new scam is born along with some new shitcoin.

Anyway, I would download the files to find out what it is all about. There is no harm in downloading, even if it is a virus.

You can download and view everything on a virtual machine like Virtualbox.

I like people who are not too lazy to download such large file sizes just for the sake of curiosity. To some extent, I even envy your enthusiasm. As for me, I'm lazy and, other than that, I don't use social media.

But the question is, you downloaded and found shocking information, so what? What then?

There may be so many enthusiasts like you that someone will definitely tell you about it later.

You just need to wait. Cheesy

There is no harm in downloading, even if it is a virus.

Nowadays, when Explorer looks into the file in order to display image/thumbnail/preview it does open/run the file and it looks like it can get malware running.
Just read about the latest MSDT / MS Office vulnerability: MS Word vulnerability could lead to stealing your bitcoins

There’s an example video here of the first part of the combined set of vulnerabilities, showing how downloading a word file can lead to the file launching "whatever" without even opening the file. The trick though may be that it requires the file to be at least previewed to some degree on the file explorer, but simply browsing a directory with preview set can lead to that.

The account has been suspended.
I also saw that a few days ago via a news portal. Tweet response is disabled and inserts a suspicious (shortened) url in the main tweet. I think I know why it was blocked.

I was actually a bit curious about the influencer scandal proof he promised and was hoping he could come up with some other way. For securty's sake, I'll use another device that doesn't store anything important.

If I remember correctly the "suspicious url" you're referring to is just a Twitlonger link. People use Twitlonger for those people who want to read on one single webpage, not on multiple Tweets (because of the character limit).

Malware can in some cases infect your device as soon as you download it without requiring you to open or run anything. Besides, if you aren't planning to check out the "evidence", why download it in the first place?

That's what's very dangerous, I'm very careful with this even though I'm also curious, but my advice is never download any file it can infect the device as you say.

Anyone thinking about downloading and inspecting the files should probably do so on a virtual machine and a secondary device that you could simply reformat without fear of losing anything of importance.

If this piques my curiosity, I'll buy RDP and download the file to see what's really going on in that transcribed conversation.

This will be more interesting in my opinion.

I would be careful trusting random people on social media making big claims. If they wanted to post some proof, they can do that already. Post a few screenshots to prove that they have the data they claim they have. Anyone thinking about downloading and inspecting the files should probably do so on a virtual machine and a secondary device that you could simply reformat without fear of losing anything of importance.

If there is such information again and he says he will upload that much data, I will not respond because I don't know if the data is contaminated with viruses or not.
Even if the data is not contaminated with viruses, what will we do with the data, given that the data is very large and takes a long time to find out the details?
It's better not to think too much about it and look for other information related to making money than to think about things that we don't know are right or wrong.
Just let them upload it, and we'll see if it's true later.

Whether or not this is true, it's still best to approach this cautiously. He might be whistleblowing about an operation and couldn't take it anymore. There are a lot of cases in which that's the case. The whistleblower's identity should also be protected if that's true.

The best way that he could expose them would probably be a website that could tell the whole story, nothing more, nothing less. It could be easily faked, but still, there's a possibility of it being authentic.

Influencers? Never bothered with them in first place. If someone is even mildy popular, you can be sure that projects/companies will approach them to shill their thing.

Doesn't matter what he's going to 'expose' when you know these influencers are just money puppets.

People believing him and retweeting him worries me a bit. While I like influencers getting exposed (though not a fan of privacy leaks in general but yea), are we really just going to take his word for it? What are the chances of him just releasing some malicious software on the 15th? Definitely not impossible.

Lightning network is good with small amount of BTC
A means to earn money. When I read this yesterday, the ethereum address adyingnobody posted had 44 transactions as of the time the news was published. Maybe this is just a scam I guess. Because if nothing is released and the account just become inactive ever again, that means the donators into that ethereum address have been scammed.

Secondly, it is good to be careful of malware which is what people are warned about, it is better to just stay away if you do not know how to avoid malware because this can lead to a spread of malware as people are really waiting for the released of the promised information which may not even be real and may contain malware.

This could be called a warning against those he mentioned like if you don't stop what you are doing then I will exposed everything you've done which I stored a total of 137.21GB Data. What that person might do is that he may spread some virus which will steal your wallet's important information such as seed phrase and more or just exposing those people who have done the things that the person is saying. We don't know for sure until we found out that it happened.

I got this info from the Tiktok video on my homepage, I don't know who it is because it's not clear but his twitter name is @adyingnobody

He claims that he has a full transcript of the conversations on telegram about crypto influencers discussing those indecent scams, rugpulls etc by defrauding the community from 2019 - 2022.

However he will publish on a persistent basis from June 15, June 30 to the end on July 7th gradually.
He will release all with 137.21GB of data.

So can this be called a warning whether later never to visit what is given, including downloading files when they share, that sense of curiosity must be endured because it could spread the virus.
