This is a private group of friends that are not directly related to any organization. The only organization they work with is:

http://adoptalo.esy.es/

It actually doesn't matter much where you donate (to her personally or adoptalo) because donations are always needed!

snip

This is part of reason so much proof is needed.  You need to restructure it where it goes directly to the organization.  Having it go to a random worker at a charity is not really right way (unless they have officers and it is the finance officer).

You really need to go through official channels with the organization.  And again I love dogs and see how this pulls with heart strings.  I'm just trying to tell you what I think you will have to do before there is a chance of donators.

How can I upload pictures in my posts?

i suggest you always use imgur.com to upload your images. because it is fast, free, popular and more importantly it is trusted.

but in your case i think you better make a decent website for your cause instead of a free blog and post pictures of your place where you are planning to help/keep/or whatever you want to do to these rescue animals

Thanks I will try imgur

She got notice she had to leave her apartment a week ago. Until now she has been studying economics at the university of Cadiz. But now she has to leave Cadiz to go live in a cheaper village. This means she will have to give up her studies because she has no money for transport. Therefore she has decided she wants to dedicate all her time to helping abandoned animals.

There has been no time for a website neither do I have the money to spend on one. Lots of people use gofundme and seem to be doing just fine. Whenever there is more money and time I will think about setting up a website for her but for the moment social media will have to do.

Take care

Thanks for the info!

Yes we are for real. I will provide "proof"  of the organization, no problem.

You can see the post I made here:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/fundraising-for-abandoned-animals-in-spain-1328919

Thanks for your time!

Best of luck.  I am a dog person so hope you do well.  I would suggest sharing some concrete information if you have documentation of being a true non for profit.

As much as those pictures pull at heart-strings and Facebook does, that is not concrete proof.   I would provide it in open not just PM as you mention.  It's just a hard sector as so many scammers out there.
Yes those photo not a proof, we can just search it online. If you can take picture with your name and yourself it will make people more trust

Hello

I asked marisa to make a foto that cannot be found on the internet, she just sent it to me but now I do not have the option to post it!

How can I upload pictures in my posts?

Yes, you can. Go to the Securities section for example. Further, you could do fundraising on various platforms like Counterparty, Bitshares or Nxt. In the future there will be more platforms like Ethereum or NEM which will offer issuing assets for fundraising or for getting venture capital.

If you are interesting in issuing an asset on NXT then I could help and consult you.

Thank you very much!!!

I will be looking into this.

For the rest, yes I understand there is much scamming going on. However if for that reason I would just sit here and do nothing than we all lose. I wish I had the money to support her but I have not. I am going next week to help her move out and find a new place to stay. I am doing this fundraiser because it is something I CAN do to help.

It actually doesn't matter much where you donate (to her personally or adoptalo) because donations are always needed!

But apart from working with them they do their own private projects. This means in Marisas case that she can have one dog coming from http://adoptalo.esy.es/ that adoptalo raises funds for and another that was found within the group which the group pays for by donations.

You can find more info in this post:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/fundraising-for-abandoned-animals-in-spain-1328919

If you have any questions please ask them in the other post so all info goes to one thread

If people feel more secure donating to an organization donate to http://adoptalo.esy.es/

Can this forum be used for fundraising?

If so is there a special place to post for funraising campaigns?

Thanx

To be honest people will say u are a scammer.

Still i would suggest if u want to raise funds.. u will need to give a detailed description about your project, the pros and cons, the reason. And lot of proof.

U can post about this in the project development section i suppose.

the people in this forum are really skeptical, maybe because of the scams, and ponzi schemes so it will be hard

I agree with him. especially you are new here with your newbie account, people will hard to trust that. i think you need more information about your campaign like image or something.

The funds are for a dog rescue place in spain.
~

since it is doge related, i think you should try DogeCoin communities too.
off the top of my mind i can name reddit.com/r/Dogecoin
if you are a legit place you can make a post on reddit with all the information and some pictures and you might have some luck.

It's not a bad idea but it still goes back to need more concrete proof.  I'm not sure what official document Spain uses.  But posting official document showing it is a true charity will help.

But I still think so many scammers it's hard to get donations even for good causes.    Just is easy to post a picture even possible fake proof.  It really takes a person well trusted to track it all down and vouch.   Even after though not sure how much donations you can count on.

Good luck you can always try but as others have said people will be sceptical. In all honesty I think you have good intentions but in theory I may never know.

@DogRescueSpain

There have been many IPOs, "Crowdfundings", or call them however you like. People don't understand the difference of those terms in this forum. Most of them wont even bother reading your topic and will post nonsense like "scam" or similar things.

You better present as much proof possible that you're fundraising for that specific reason so you have stronger arguments when people start attacking you.

This forum is built on greed and desire to become rich overnight. You'll find a small percentage of human beings in here.

Wish you good luck with your fundraising!

Fund raising for what? A simple , post a address, will be deleted for begging. You can probably create the thread in main Marketplace board.
