The entry barrier for alrcoins has been quite higher as of recently. People are not blindly putting money in any coin that randomly goes out, at least not as the altcoins explosion had it some years ago. I think only time will tell which altcoins will persist. If development of certain alts stops then the market would likely follow through.
You can expect solid rise in good coins, however all those dead coins that are being pump now, its only a short run, basically pump and dump. So I would suggest you to stay away from those coins, invest only in solid project, that will give you good returns in long run.
Nothing goes on forever as we will see lot of corrections up on the way until bitcoin hits $100k eventually.
Yes I basically called btc hitting $100k. Imagine altcoin prices in that situation. We still have enough gas to burn for a year.

I still highly doubt BTC will go to 100k sooner than Q4 2018, even then its a stretch... It will hit that, but not that quick imo

Yes, now it happens that even the shitcoins become discoveries and begin to raise their demand. But everyone understands that this is not a long-term perspective, so you need to be very careful with them. There will be a correction and a recession and not only these alts, but for now there is a moment why they should not use it. 
No it wont even the other good coins are hard to achieve that.
Sometimes shit coin start with a low value then it will increase in a short period of time, then it will decrease and it will never increase again. Sometimes shitcoin can be a good coin, but it will never change the fact that it is still a shitcoin, so make profit untill it is good.

Of course it can't go like this forever. But until more and more people and businesses are getting in, it will go on. For at least a next couple of years I believe.
Some abandoned and useless projects can pump & dump, but they will die eventually. But the useful and leading ones will continue to grow, with some corrections from time to time of course.

this can go forever but remember the little correction will always be following it, as far as i understand about the more people are joining in the crypto and try to spend some of their money in here. It looks possible the price will increase anytime because there is no restriction to put only some amount or has a limit to invest in the crypto. 
Since cryptocurrencies are replacing the journalist agenda against gold and other precious metals, it appears to be increasing not just itself, but everything around it. Nobody expected this to happen, but investment types of all sorts are welcome to this market.

All these price hikes are opportunities for us to get into the action, earn some profit, and get out as quickly as possible! Coz not all coins/alts will be able to sustain their increase (especially shitcoins). There will be a massive correction one of these days and prices will start to fall. So it is high time at this point to make a quick investment.

I dont think it can just go up. Its still a niche market but just cant go only up! I expect a correction on few days. But hodling till lambo
We're in a phase where even some "shitcoins" pump indeed and it can't for sure go on forever. There will probably be a correction at some point where only the good projects will remain. So you have two choices: you either invest in anything profitable or you only invest in some solid projects. I've decided to do the latter but I have to agree I have now allocated c. 10% of my portfolio for the former cause hey I'm in it for the money.

My prediction is that it can't go on forever, nothing can simply increase infinitely, there will be a lull and some sort of correction and then after that a period of slowly declining for a lot of projects before the next bull run.

For shitcoins I think they would not continue to increase in price in the long run. Someone is just manipulating shitcoins prices for it to pump.In case of other cryptocurrencies that aren't shitcoin though I think their rise is sustainable so long as btc adoption rate continues and so long as people's main reason for using cryptocurrencies is to profit. Although that is the case, I think most alts would continue to increase in terms of market cap.
