If there are some people looking for want some funds in google play funds in exchange of Bitcoin then it's much better, but this is risky especially if you do the transaction online.
The best way to do is with your some friends, family or any person that you can do meet up for much secure transaction. It's more likely peer to peer.

As far as I know, you can only use your Google Play balance on, well, the Google PlayStore. And since there obviously is no bitcoin being sold on the PlayStore, then it's an easy no.
Google Play balances are withdrawable though(if I remember correctly). So just withdraw the money and buy yourself some bitcoin elsewhere like on LocalBitcoins[1].
