I've always been a parlay betting kind of person.  When I was younger and working in an office we used to make parlay bets on the days games every morning.  Usually we'd only throw a dollar or less on the bets, but we'd select every game for the day and usually once a week someone would hit their bet and make enough to make it fun.  Sure, making $30 a few times a year isn't going to make you rich, but hitting a 50:1 parlay is good fun, I don't care who you are or how much is at stake.

Many bettors love to showcase their winning parlays because they offer bigger multipliers, making them attractive for those who bet small and aim to win big. However, based on what I’ve read, the more legs you add to your parlay, the lower your chances of winning become. So, why is it still so popular despite the data showing that our chances of winning are lower?

Considering all that has been mentioned, would you still include parlays as part of your daily betting strategy?
Cant really be able to deny that one of the main things on why parlays are really that getting that much attention due to that kind of chance of winning big on just simply having that small amount of
money that you are betting on with, but come to think that it might that look up that bigger winning but not really that much of a difference when you are really that betting on a single line or game bet
on which it might be some small add up but not really something that significant but well profit is profit and if people do see out any opportunity on winning up more then they would really be
that diving into it. Speaking about strategy then it would really be up to you whether you do make use of this one or not.

We are the ones who do have that kind of choice whether we will really be having such approach on trying out to make those small amounts of money into bigger ones. Also the thing i dont
with parlays on which one loss then that particular bet is totally lost no matter how many of series wins is you do really be that able to make of.

In boxing event, you can already see which fighters could win and the odds are given by the bookmakers which they also have the idea of who could win the matches. Whoever is the fave of the bookies, they are the ones that will likely win so chances are high when it comes to this kind of event.

Its an easier to think of losing when you are adding a lot to your parlay but whne you are only adding just 4 or 5 matches, you might have a higher chance that you won't have an upset among them.

Simple, because as your chances go lower your odds go up, so rather than nailing individually 5 out of 10 games at odds of 2.0 and end up with almost nothing you bet on 5 of those games and you look at 32x back if you're lucky. In the end is just a question of math, for sure a 100x bet is harder to achieve than a 2x individual bet, but if you do that 100,000 times you will see that the returns from the bets start leveling up and come closer, and closer, all you need is a large enough pool of results.

Essentially you need to get all wins and that improves the overall payout. A single loss and the parley would be considered a loss. Its the greed of the gambler fueling this type of bets and the human nature to take risk that makes these bets popular. However they are less recommended than single bets.

Well, in my experiment, multiplier bets have proven to be more rewarding;

Simply, parlay gives us the option to choose several matches in one bet. in terms of profit, we can bet with a small amount, but with a fairly high total multiplication if we win. well, for me it's that simple. the question is whether parlay is included in the strategy section in betting options, and the answer depends because each gambler has a different perspective. as you said, betting with the parlay option has a very low chance of winning. clearly, that's because we enter several matches in one betting mode. the more matches that are included in our ticket list, the greater the multiplication, and the lower our chances of winning. let alone talking about parlay options, even betting on single matches is still risky and the chances of winning are not guaranteed. but this is gambling, we are presented with the features provided. the problem is, are you serious about betting on the parlay option. or, you just see it as an option part of the bet that you can take advantage of, regardless of betting big or small.  in essence, in betting there is no guarantee of winning, especially with the parlay option which provides an alternative to combined betting. plus providing a high total multiplication, but the probability of getting a win is very low. we can bet on the parlay option with two or three matches, of course fewer matches are included in the ticket list, of course it provides a better chance of winning than vice versa. at least, for me personally.

This is a very difficult bet because our predictions must be completely correct to get a win, but yes, one win will definitely make us feel much better in betting modes like this.
It is betting after all and none of us are gods who can always make 5/5 bets correct, just as an example. 10$ taken 5 times and you lose all 50$ because one bet was lousy? Rather would you not bet 10$ separately on 5 bets, lose one and win the rest to cover up that one loss and make a profit at the same time?

Casinos know that and this is why parley exists, it allows the casino to take advantage of the gamblers false sense of confidence. They would never introduce a system where gamblers get the upper hand in making money, they would lose their business otherwise.

Of course you can if you apply parlay betting as your regular bet, but you need to note that the number of losses you will experience will be more frequent, but it is worth it if you manage to win just 1 match, make sure you have enough capital to start.
The losses can be huge too. That is why they are considered a bad choice when it comes to sports betting. If you confident about the game's outcome without the alcohol in your system Grin, feel free but be cautious that you might end up losing too.

Speaking of losses, we can still get around by using a small amount of money but the amount of defeat will definitely be a lot in parlay betting, because with the situation of the team that is not conducive or inconsistent and many factors that cause the team we choose to lose, and when one prediction is wrong then we will lose everything, so why parlay gives great benefits to its bettors.

This is a very difficult bet because our predictions must be completely correct to get a win, but yes, one win will definitely make us feel much better in betting modes like this.

Parlays are still popular because it's one of the few ways to win big while spending less on each bet. It's a different version of a lottery ticket since you can push for the highest odds and even cash out the bet if your sportsbook offers the feature.

I also make parlays and combine favorites to get better odds, but I wouldn't include it in my usual strategy. It's too risky if you plan to bet on several legs, and you could quickly go on a bad run burning several deposits before winning again.

You're mostly set up to fail with parlays since one unfortunate match ends your bet and there's always that one big favorite that pulls the unexpected.
You are absolutely right when you said that parleys can be likened to another version of lottery, owning to how difficult it is to win most of the time.

I remember one time in the past when I decide to only bet on parlays, this was after a friend of mine won a parley of over 5000 odds, with a $2 bet, I was really moved and actually thought that winning was easy, I started compiling games into parleys, betting on 2 to 3 different parleys every day,  I did this for a whole month without a single win, at a point I had to always sit in front of my computer watching my tickets looking for an opportunity to cash-out big amount of money,  but this, this did not work because I still have other things to do and most times, I will have to step out whether I like it or not.

Parleys are good way to have fun in sports betting, not to be taken serious, but then, it's one of the easiest ways out of trenches if and when one is lucky.

I agree in part with you. The probability is so low that it doesn't make sense to bet big amounts. But multipliers are so big that you don't need to either.

To me, risking a lot of money in just one "sure bet" is not acceptable, and spending it in playing multiple parlays isn't either. But that's what many bettors do. If that's what the OP meant with regular strategy, then it is not a good one, but if we accept inside that "regularity" making small bets in weekly/monthly parlays, I think that it can be beneficial for many sports fans to increase the thrill for so little.

Parlay bets will often be used by gamblers who bet with small funds. That is to produce bigger Odds. I don't know how true that is, but I'm sure there will be many who do that. And those who bet bigger will choose a single bet that has a smaller risk.
Some sports betting sites even provide suggestions for some bets that produce big Odds. Although I will not use it, in Parlay bets I will make my own choice by trying the smallest risk.

Indeed, this type of parlay bet has other advantages in terms of profits that can indeed be large if we are lucky enough to win, but what you said is true, the chances of winning with this type of parlay bet are smaller, besides the risk is big, maybe this parlay strategy is carried out by people who can really consider everything carefully because if it is done haphazardly, it is very unlikely to win.

Also, I think this parlay bet is less suitable if used as a regular strategy, except maybe for those who have a lot of money, but even then it is not recommended.

Of course and why not? Specially when we all know that gambling,  or sports betting(in this context) is still a game of chance, it never hurts to sometimes, get into riskier ventures or activities, because in the end, you can either win or simply loose...
When you win, the reward will be huge due to the fact that you took a high risk, which simply translates to, the higher the risk, the higher the reward.
But on the other hand, if you loose, you simply move one to the next potential opportunity, betting parlay is a game of chance, and those who are lucky will end winning regardless of number of games on the parlay.

What I myself normally do is make sure I am not betting on the parley with funds higher than $1(depending on how many games on the parley and it's total odds), with such a very low bet amount, I simply just move on if the games doesn't play as predicted, and money was lost.

We could do that but it would not be much different than regular bets as probability of Lossing increases when you are betting on multiple outcomes to come as you want. I mean the high rewards have high risks.
I had in past went through Parlay only strategy where I chose low odds tennis games but the results are nearly the same.
Another disadvantage of Parlay bet is you might need to wait longer to get the full result and in case of one game being postponed or cancelled, it's going to take much longer and depending on the site, your bet could be cancelled.
Parlay sure is a nice and more entertaining way of sports betting but I'm not sure about it's financial advantage.

Of course, I will definitely include parlay as part of my daily betting strategy, inasmuch as the more games added, the less likely I am to win, I will still always give it a try, because there have been proven records of many people winning jackpots from parlay bets, likewise I have also seen some people who lost a single bet game played with a huge sum of money. Hence, for me, my strategy has always been to bet small amount and win big, rather than bet huge on a single game that you can't afford to lose and end up losing.

No, It is too degenerate for my own taste. I would rather to approach Sportbetting with lower multipliers but more chances to win, though, I have known people who are very fond of parlays and they seek thrill on the very small possibility of getting much of their initial wager.
Why do people still like those kinds of bets? pretty much for the same reason there are people who would rather to throw their money at games like crash or aviator instead of going for blackjack or dices. It is riskier, more exciting and fast-paced and in the end it could get much much more money than other games could, that is pretty much it.
I have only seen a couple of people here in the gambling section of the forum who have been successful on getting money from parley, the rest of them only seem to have lost money.

When people make multi-legged bets, it becomes like buying a lottery ticket. The chances of winning are low, but if they do win, people win a lot of money. And that is the main reason why people prefer multi-legged bets even though they know that the chances of winning are low. I know people who like to make multi-legged bets. They place $1 and manage to win $100, and sometimes they win $500. I always ask them how they can keep watching each result of the game and not feel like cashing out. They tell me that it is okay to lose $1 because it does not affect their lives. For them, when they make a bet, they only expect two results: winning or losing.

The major reason why I use this strategy is to get a cash out offer which I would just be satisfied to accept rather than wait for the whole game to play successfully when am not even sure of the final result. Although most time I just take one a few accumulator and stake on it.

The preference that makes bettors choose it is because of the bigger pot. But, it's almost impossible to get those wins. I have not experienced any parlay bets win that has consists of a lot of cumulative bets altogether.

I don't think that this is for me but every time I see someone shares their parlays and they're doing good, I am simply happy for them.

But to me, I won't take this risk because it doesn't suit my way of betting.

If you bet more than one match, that is a parley bet. That means betting on two matches or above is a parley bet. If you bet on two teams and the odd for the first team is 1.25 but which can be higher or lower than that, while the odd for the second team is 1.5. That is 1.8 odd in total but which is not two time as high as the chance of losing the money you want to use to stake the bet. There are some parley bet that the odd will be small. But also you are right because you can accumulate many matches to have high an high odd.

I guess it's just all about the odds and the potential winning money and that's why despite the little chance of winning it, still many does it. I don't usually do it but I guess that's where I am going next since I like taking risks in most of my bets even with the underdogs.
So, if you have a choice to bet Nottingham Forrest to win against Manchester City and a parlay bet consist of Manchester City to win, Liverpool to win, Arsenal to win and Chelsea to win, you're choose Nottingham Forrest to win?

Personally, I would say Nottingham Forrest almost has zero chance to beat Manchester City, even Manchester did lose few times against weak teams, but there's no way for me to predict that. I'd go for parlay bet, it's more realistic.

The fun part about parlay is you can make money while the game is on and cash out, you don't have to wait, and some people end up losing because they choose to wait and see the end of the game, this game is better than casino games because been able to cash out when sport game is ongoing is just like using stop loss when trading online.

I can advise anyone to keep taking risks on sports but they must use only what they can afford to lose, but I don't gamble every time, even if it is on a sports game it must be on games that I really don't want to miss, I always advise against risking money on every sport match just because you want to make money.

In my opinion, express sports betting is only suitable for beginners. Express sports betting can give a player a lot of bright emotions (and beginners love it). A beginner gets the opportunity to win a very large sum of money (several times more than the initial bet).

However, you can't fool the mathematical theory of probability - the probability of such an event is very small.

Express sports betting has many disadvantages.

In practice, winning an express bet is much more difficult than winning a single bet. The bookmaker has the opportunity to increase its margin. One bad choice (and this is a very likely event) will lead to the loss of the entire express.

You are right the more legs are added the harder it is to win, but why do many gamblers still do that? as you said with only a small amount of money if successful will get a significant profit and if it fails it will not hurt because the money wagered is small which will not interfere with the player's balance in his gambling account, even it seems quite fun to do even though you don't know when it will be successful but players who do this must have other bets on single or parlay with fewer legs to be able to make a profit.

I often do this when betting with freebets and from many attempts the winning percentage is very low, if using real money will only bet small amounts, it's like trying my luck.

Regular betting strategy? Definitely not. We can’t take sports betting too seriously if we’re adding parlays every time we bet, as they’re just money drainers. Just look at the winning odds shared by the poster above; that’s the reality. We can’t ignore it, because even if we’re betting small amounts, over time, it adds up. So maybe keep parlays for fun, but when you’re in serious mode, risking bigger money, stick to a more reliable strategy. Definitely not parlay.

Express bets give a very small probability of winning. In addition, as a rule, there is a very large bookmaker margin, although the bookmaker usually hides this. The fact is that there is an increased bookmaker margin for each bet inside the express. The bookmaker's margin is thus summed up and ultimately reaches decent values. Even the outcome of one match is difficult to predict when it has 3 outcome options - one team wins, a draw, the other team wins. If the express consists of 4 bets, then the number of outcome options increases and reaches 12. You only need to guess the outcome of at least one match in the express, as your express will not win. Wins in the express are possible, but most likely you will lose much more before that.

You are actually supplying yourself the answer prior to your question. You've already mentioned "bigger multipliers" or higher odds. That's the reason. You've explained further that parlay is attractive because you can bet a small amount but with a chance to win big. That's the beauty of parlay.

Of course, in gambling, as in everything else perhaps, the bigger the prize, the harder to win, the higher the risk. That has always been the logic. Otherwise, casinos would cease to be a business and end up a charity. Imagine betting small, winning easily, and making big money.

Despite of huge multiplier, there's no guarantee we win exactly so better stay safe with your funds rather of having regrets.
even though this can be a strategy, keep playing fairly. condition your finances, don't do large multiplications. because you also need to know, they must apply limits to the winnings of their players.

Its the chance to win big, reclaim lost bets and to finally get one over on the
bookmaker!

I see people playing a parlay with 5+ legs, to me I am thinking there is an upset
on the way and that parlay isnt happening and sure enough I hear so many
stories of missed parlays just because one team lost.
Its a balance between Risk
and reward!

Personally I dont think I ever did a multi/parlay for more than 3 legs and I definitely
wouldnt be doing them every day.

People are not playing because of the risk, it is what they are aware of and see it as being affordable by them, all they wanted is to have the same desiring expectations from gambling on the kind of game they are playing, once they find a suitable blend to complement their demand, that's all, if we give a try and get the results needed, there's nothing bad.

Parlay can be an integral part of the strategy, if for example, my strategy implies that the odds in my bets should be at least 2 and it happens that in order to get such odds I need several events, usually two. I think that this a little increases the risks for the bet, but not so high that I would refuse parlay and make only single bets. Parlay is popular precisely because you can get a high odds, as much as you want, every player wants to believe that he will be able to win.

The gambler mostly use the odds of game to make the money,if the gamblers had good luck. Then the gambler can make big money in the odds of the gambling site. The odds of the game also had the risk, once you use the same odds again and again. The biggest change will happen, because the reverse algorithm of the gambling site will work against the odds of your game.So this may cause to loss of their bets in the gambling sites. The odds are very important to make money in the gambling site.Every gamblers will their own odds in the betting, usually they use odds in the critical position of the game to get away from complete loss.

Honestly I will say if I still use the strategy to try my luck with a small amount to expect to get a bigger amount. And I also use single bets more often to get profit as well as satisfaction with my own prediction results.
Maybe some bettors will consider parlay bets like you said. But they will still do it for the same reason in the hope of getting big odds by testing their luck.
There is nothing wrong with continuing to try using parlay bets as long as you use small bets with not too many matches.

Yes, many gamblers prefer better chances of winning smaller prizes, but that's not my case, and that's the reason why I prefer lotteries or parlay (la quiniela in Spain) to other games with more immediate results, although I have to admit that I feel like a rara avis in this field.

Most players prefer games that are faster and more entertaining, I get that, but to me they trade the daydreaming with a dear life for stronger immediate feelings granted by small wins.

So, to me, it is a great strategy to add parlay, lotteries or whatever bet which is very cheap but improbable to win, althoug with a huge potential.

Totally depends into your preference since there would really be bettors that would really be loving on dealing up with a single bet slip and there are ones who do really love on dealing up with parlays specially into the time or moment that they've seen that they do only have that small amount of money. Yes, it could really be able to make our winning chance to be lower but we do know that it could give out that kind of
good multiplier in terms of potential winning and this what makes that interesting. It will really be always be best that you should really that bet into something that you do really know those games
because you could have at least on taking up some shot on making those small amounts to be bigger. It will really be just that up to you whether you do go with this or not.

The thing we do hate about betting on parlays is that no matter how many games that you do able to win up but on the moment that you have 1 lost then you do lost it all.
You will really be having that kind of regret on which you should have that cash out earlier specially into those moments that there are really that available early cash out feature,
but of course you would really be thinking up on proceeding because you've been hoping for that getting that huge win.

One thing that you should consider in this idea - multi bets / parlays are one of the most profitable kind of bets for bookmakers, because we are very poor at judging risk in general and tend to overestimate our own abilities in doing so. This type of bet also tends to build in a bigger safety (or profit) margin for bookmakers, so instead of two bets that might double up if placed independently, you might end up with a parlay bet that gives you x3.8 or x3.5 which is not as generous in value. Sure, if you like to do parlays for a bit of fund, they can definitely multiply your odds substantially and I have won a fair few, the bookmakers know the risks involved with them and are generally the long term winners in this scenario.

It is very possible, previously I almost every day made parlay bets, whether it was only from football and also only basketball or maybe both I put in parlay bets. But indeed, if I previously always made parlay bets, it only made me depressed because I rarely got a win. Until finally, I became routine to make single bets, but at the same time I also  included parlay bets and thus, even though my parlay bets lost but I still got enough profit from the single bets. So yes, the solution is indeed to make single bets and parlay bets simultaneously if you are worried about always losing, because in parlay bets the risk is difficult  to win and that is real.

I have been watching there were some people who can win huge amount of money from parlay even at this forum i have seen some of users has been share their winning achievement from parlay and this makes me inspired that i want to making money from parlay bets but to win from this strategy is very hard and previously i have been win my bets from parlay several times but my betting results when using this method is very poor even the last parlay which i make last week was got busted so that's why i won't used parlay for my regular strategy for sport betting and for me single bets is much better than attempts to making money from parlay

Parlay betting is a popular and regular strategy... maybe for some people, it's daily fun, but there are not so many interesting games every day. So this way of betting is popular on weekends when many games are played, or during the week when various championships are going on.

Although the chances of winning are lower, people simply see the fun in betting on the games and leagues they follow. Also, when you bet with very low amounts, there's no point in betting on a single game, so people choose to bet on more games to have at least some significant returns if they get lucky and win.

I wouldn’t use that as my strategy, knowing that it is hard to win. I have tried it a couple of times, but I still haven’t won a considerable amount, just two or three bets, and that is also how sure bet in ways that the odds are minimal, so it’s easier to win.

It’s still not ideal for me to use it as a daily strategy, but it may be something that comes with emotions or feelings that could work, but it’s not my go-to.

Even though it's risky but at least when accumulated multiple games it gives us a higher odds and higher amount to win but it's tough to win in a row, because if one game cut off surely we lose our bet and of course almost every do parlay betting, just few do single betting which at most times it's has very small with high probability of winning even though winning are 50/50 chances it is more sure to win a single bet than parlay or multiple bet.

People love parlays because of the big profit involved, and you can use little funds to achieve huge wins, if it you are lucky. Greed is also another problem here, a gambler will love to have a long slip, so that his chance of have big profits increases, but he will fail to see the opposite side of it,that the chance of him winning will be reduced. I don't bet on parlays anymore, because I have never won all my games before on a single slip, but one thing that I love about parlay is the cash out options since you don't need to win all your games before you can make profit.

Because it's more realistic to take risk of 5 teams that likely to win instead of take risk of weakest team to beat the strongest team. I have never bet a weakest team to beat the strongest team because it looks impossible.

The good thing of parlay bets is you can cashout some of the prize if you're not sure with the upcoming match.

Parlay bet isn't really a strategy, but it just another combination to bet.

That's why I would say that parlay betting is a regular strategy because every week we do parlay bets rather than singles... of course because the odds are high... because we are sure that the team we choose is the favorite even though I know that the more matches in the parlay the odds are lower, but the fact is that this is preferred because rather than single bets.

If you win the parlay bet (10 legs) it will be a pride of its own ... in losing the same this will be disappointed especially when only 1 match is wrong while the other 9 are right.
I don't know why parlay is of interest to me because almost every week with small money do this... Hoping to multiply the money. Cheesy

It is probably the same reason why lotteries are popular to a lot of people despite the chance of winning is extremely low, I mean the possible winnings from parlay can be big enough for gamblers that they think that even if the odds of winning are low it is still worth it.

Not sure if I could do it daily but in Soccer where every day there are tons of matches from international league to local competition, yes I could add it for the small amount.

But in boxing or in combat sports where events just happen every weekend I would certainly do it. But this is recommended when you are following the sport closely. If not then it's your risk.

And also you don’t have to make your parlay look like a list of people that walked through the train station - you could just go with 3-5 legs and that should be enough.

Not everyone bets everyday, it might create some kind of addiction for them. Even if we know very well that the parlay strategy is very popular that doesn't mean that those gamblers who uses it, bets on a daily basis. What we should focus on is the number of times we make wins from using it during our gambling sections. For me I gambling mostly on weekends due to my busy schedule an then try my best to get some profits that's like 3x my funds and though the parlay strategy doesn't always work it's still best to cash out why you still can..

You said it yourself, bigger multipliers which means bigger profits. If you know what you're doing you can risk a relatively low and manageable amount for realistically something pretty big which can be easily manageable and doable. I'd be more than down say for example use $10 for a chance to make $1000.

And even if it's not about that, some gamblers just want the thrill and challenge. Personally I don't do parlays all that much, but you can easily see how it can attract others.

Simple answer: the return is big.

If you win, you win big. So it doesn’t matter if the chances are low, you’d still take it because the risks are worth the price you’ll get. It’s kind of like participating in a lottery. There’s a huge chance you don’t win but in the rate case you do, it can be life changing.

Aside from this, I guess for some people it is a lot more exciting when they are watching out for different things.

Yes, I've seen a lot of bettors who really go with parlay and targeting huge multiplier, but as you have said, it's really very difficult but I guess everyone is willing to take that big risk even if the chances are low.

Considering all that has been mentioned, would you still include parlays as part of your daily betting strategy?

Why not? at least if I feel that there are games that are worth to be put in a multi parlay, be it on a handicap or ML bet, I will consider it from time to time. But for usual daily betting? like in NBA games right now, there are days that I might go with this strategy or just single one with higher bet.

I bet with little amount of money. I do lose most of my parley bet but I use little amount of money for it but I just still prefer not to lose the small amount of money despite that I can afford to lose it. This makes me to prefer to go for s single match instead of parley.

There is no two reasons people bet on parley. The reason is that they want to win huge amount of money.

Parleys are not a strategy. They are instruments created by the casinos to fuel your greed, and the bettors will take them because their greed is beyond control.

Now there are people who post their betslips here and some of us here are going to drool over the parleys. But remember that a hundred other bettors did not post their betslip because it was that bad for them. So the casino made the profit not because of that one person will all the parley bets but that 100 others who lost their bets.

When you win something from a casino dont try to increase them or attempt to increase the multiplier, just accept it and move on if you goal is to have fun.

I rarely do this now after experiencing that losing streak in parlays. I think it took a month of betting every day making parlays that I thought would win which changed my mind. I kept losing money and I don't like it. What I tried next was cutting the number of lines. From 10 lines to 5 lines or maybe just 4 so that the chances of winning increases. That worked for me but I rarely do it nowadays even though there are so many NBA games listed for the whole day.
It's true, it's difficult to win long parlays because we are adding more risk but if we hit it, it's like a jackpot that would cover all our losses. It's very rare to win it though and cashing out will be a good option if we thing the profits are enough.

That really depends on the gambler, as we are responsible for our own strategies. In reality, if we base our judgment on probability rather than gut feeling, we should avoid using parlays as a regular betting strategy. Some bettors aren’t aware of the probabilities associated with parlays, which is why they think it’s easier to win this way compared to using single bets.

Here’s the calculation for every leg you add in a parlay (considering the odds are 1.90 on all legs):

Quote
1.90 =0.5263 or 52.63%
   1

2-leg parlay: 0.5263×0.5263=0.2770 or 27.70%
3-leg parlay:  0.5263×0.5263×0.5263=0.1459 or 14.59%
4-leg parlay: 0.5263×0.5263×0.5263×0.5263=0.0767 or 7.67%

So the 2 leg parlay alone only gives you 27.70%, would you still continue using the strategy knowing that?

So, why is it still so popular despite the data showing that our chances of winning are lower?

Greed. Many gamblers don't like to aim for small profit. They always go for bigger target and if you aim big, then it is with multiple bet or parley that you can have such big winning with little staking power unlike with single games that you will need lots of stake to boost the potential to a reasonable extent. So, the driving force in using parley is the amount of potential winning that is involved.

Considering all that has been mentioned, would you still include parlays as part of your daily betting strategy?

No. It is not included because it is a recipe for constant losing. If you have a long bet it means you have exposed yourself the more rather than the good opportunity with playing with few games.

It's because parlay is the very definition of gambling itself, I mean, as gamblers, we target higher odds for higher wins obviously. And we can only do this is luck based games like slot games. However, with parlay, we can still aim for high odds but we are not going to base it on lucky but on our skills and strategies. So yeah, even if the data that our chances are slim, we are going to try and see how it goes for us.

Considering all that has been mentioned, would you still include parlays as part of your daily betting strategy?
Yes, if I remember it correctly, I have own several with a 3-5 multi-bet on NBA. And it's really exciting to see and watch those games specially if you are in the last leg. However, it's very frustrating and disappointing when a supposedly good team loses to a bad team and then destroys your parlay in the beginning.

If you manage to win just a single parlay it will cover everything you have been losing for a while, that’s why I normally participate in it and just go with a few games - and also I don’t have to wait for everything to finish before I cash out.

Daily strategy? Nope, I won’t make it a daily strategy. But if I have to bet a parlay once in a week then that’s fine. To me parlay isn’t that bad - it’s true that it has lesser probability of success but still you don’t have to bet a large amount on it like we do on single games so here we have little money to win large money.
