Actually holding and selling bitcoin is bad, what we need for bitcoin is people to keep buying with there bitcoins.

Well, we need hodl and buy, not sell and buy Wink

Buy/Hold when prices are low.

Agreed if people don't take profits and follow the crowd they will get slaughtered for sure, good point to add to the disscussion!

I play poker and I don't say FODL! Just wanted to have some fun in these bearish times. If you wanna vote, curse me out, agree with me, or tell me how dumb this thread is please feel free.  Grin

Protect Your Coins!

I meant to vote yes and then say we can but we shouldn't because it is simply put... awesome.

I love the comparison to folding in poker and holding bitcoins that made me laugh and laugh and laugh so thanks for that.  I think you just raised the stakes and I look forward to watching the HODL movement organically grow.   Grin

btw, why is your signature so small? Cheesy

It's how subscript and superscript were implemented on this forums software I guess.  Anyway, it's not something I've put any effort at all into for the past year or so so it's bigger than it probably warrants.

Some guy who was drunk, or pretending to be drunk at any rate, thought it appropriate to post on this forum and the title of the thread had that spelling.  It caught on.

Oddly enough, that's exactly when the current bear market started.

Perhaps the bear market will end when the meme does.

Ok then Smiley

I was getting a little tired of HODL, but realizing that it annoys others has breathed new life into my interest in using the term.

I also happen to be 'hodling to the max' at the moment since the price is on a downward trajectory even though I've not yet hit my sales targets for the year.  I've had better luck buying when the derivative is negative and selling when it is positive.

Keep on hodling my brothers!
