There will only ever be 100 Billion XRP and Ripple is creating the internet of value.  Enabling money to flow globally as freely and cheaply as information does today does more to support the individual than it does banks.  Its a net win.  Better to get on board the new standard now while its still inexpensive at $2.  Glad I jumped in at .18, too bad I didn't see this happening at .006 in March.

Also, they aren't centralized...

I think that the hype around ripple will pass in a month or two... I don't believe in this coin..... but for sure now it's a good way to make easy money (in a short term view)

Most of the people that are on the cryptocurrency right now focuses on gaining money, only few of them really cares about what future holds if ripple dominate the CryptoWorld. And I believe Ripple has one of the coins who has great potential to be very Big (in terms of profit) in the near future.

Let it be, hypes are always been like this.
Just another "Cryptomania"

With a huge Asian market for Ripple, the raise is not that surprising.
But take note that this was started by a big/diverse news about the same contexts of all Digital Coins that got a potential of profit from a price surge.

Most of the people promoting this coin is having huge value hold for long period of time, they promote this to increase the demand in the market of course if demand increases the more chances of this coin would be one of the profitable coin for them. And there is no problem on that even many bad speculation now xrp value are continuous increasing base on what i am seeing right now.

Yes, when Ripple's price kept rising, it was almost entirely discussed by the two days of forum posts, which made me a little bit less accepting. Ripple is just a tool used by Banks, and why prices are so much hyped. Huh Huh Huh

Your analisys is quite interesting and scaring, though I think it is probably a bit excessive. If the banks want to buy Bitcoins they can just buy them with the money they create limiteless out of thin air .

It's a bit curious that suddenly the whole forum is full of Ripple supporters. I've seen such things happen before with Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin SegWit2X. I wonder if they get paid to post here.

Ripple has a different business model.  That doesn't necessarily make it good or bad.

Funny thing is, if it were a bitcoin clone, people would be calling it clone scam.  If Ripple sets on a unique path, people bash it for not being like Bitcoin.  Can't win.

I like to buy and hold and diversify.  Ripple seemed like a good choice.  I'm not betting the farm on it, but I think it has potential.

All those people who are investing in Ripple are clowns, you can not take them seriously.

Just take a look over the forum, they all are just saying; yeah, invest, i did x10 in a month, bitcoin is dead*

Why are so many people promoting Ripple? A very popular thread that I haven't read is titled "Is Ripple the future?". Why do you think Ripple is the future?

Good tech, fast transactions, cheap fees, this is the same as all the other altcoins have at the moment, ripple is just anyother coin that has been discovered by a lot of people right now.

Yeah, it is good tech, but definitely not in favour of crypto. Ripple is owned by banks. They can see all your transactions.

I always like ripple, but i never had that kind of fanatism that a lot of people are showing about this altcoin at the moment.

Ripple is definitely not the most profitable alt right now, I posted about Zero(ZER) when it was $0.6, it reached an ATH of $7 before retracing. Ripple is definitely not the most profitable. If anything, Ripple right now is close to the least profitable with such a high market cap.

it is not the most profitable , but I have a friend which is annoying me how ripple will rule only because it has the real value and support of banking adoption, he may be right. it's enough for banks to put 1% into this currency and it will be the number 1 funded, because banks can play easily with the fiat currencies, thus funding easier than regular people like me and you, add to that to the believers in the banking system or the US citizens they are directed directly into ripple as it's being adopted by their banking systems also.
and the US usually bans joining in ICO's or other coins and make it difficult while opens opportunity using ripple, this all works to make ripple seem to appear more attractive to the people not knowing that it's controlled by a several nodes which can be manipulated, not all users know how they can manipulate the system, but ones who do will stay away from ripple but its like valuing awareness. a lot of people not aware in many of things and how they actually work behind the scenes

Ripple isnt owned by banks.
In fact, anyone can run nodes that run Ripple.

You failed on one of your first points.

Why dont you people read and educate yourself on Ripple instead of parroting the same fud haters have been trying to spread. Go invest on your own preferred coin if you dont like Ripple, but atleast stop with the pathetic hate

I think people are not interested in the future of cryptocurrencies at all. The most important thing for almost all people is whether they are making money or not. And since ripple is the most profitable alt right now, people will promote it, regardless of the effects ripple may have on the crypto scene.

Do you know how many masternodes Ripple has? The answer is 55 and they're all owned by companies/banks. They call them "Ripple validators".
They're centralized and they can print money anytime they need to, we were going away from that at the start, now we're back to zero.

Now if Ripple takes the first spot on CoinMarketCap, goodbye decentralization, goodbye crypto. It's undoing the revolution and most of you are helping it.
While being true, it's nowhere near as bad as some guy's theory that I saw yesterday.
The short version is that basically banks are pumping Ripple to attract new investors, after that they sell Ripple for BTC or ETH and they own a huge number of the coins. Right now Ripple's market cap is about 1/3 of BTC, they can own 6 million BTC if they decided to sell.

This is a very scary thing, they can bring down Bitcoin by making it that much more expensive to use and buy. This would be the beginning of Mcafee's $1,000,000 Bitcoin. Much worse if they do this to ETH.

Think about it.
