I wouldn't deny the possibility of that happening but it's probably highly unlikely.
But imagine how much transactions are done by just that amount of fee. Higher value of bitcoins probably means higher transaction rates.

i dont think we can reduce fee transaction even the price of bitcoin much higher than now, this is make me think bitcoin couldn't reach more than $10,000.

in future if bitcoin price rising to $100.000 i think 20k satoshi is high amount , so can we pay only 1satoshi in future ?
almost impossible, fees will not reach down so low until 1 satoshi, might 100 satoshi is possible for bitcoin at that price, becuase as we knew bitcoin price now $451 and fees avrage 0.001btc and when bitcoin down, transaction fees keep stable.

You can always use 1 satoshi..
but if price really increases that much.. it might be possible that 1 satoshi becomes the "standard fee".
But of course 1 satoshi will get divided into more decimals.

even with the theory that the bitcoin valuation will increase. is meaningless.
here are the reasons.
bitcoin has increased in value 10x since a transaction fee was below 1cent. so do you think the amount of satoshi's needed should be 10x less to keep the fee below 1 cent.. well the answer is that it should. but instead, it has not. and infact the average transaction fee is now about 15cents to assure next in line priority.(over 20x the value it was before)

and as for imagining the far distant future where pools are only mining 0.78125btc a block in the year 2032... this still will not be an incentive to lower fee's
as the pools will start to want to be subsidized (currently fee's are not treated as a subsidy, and just a bonus. but in 2032, that will switch)
another reason is. that if in 2017 we will allow approximately 7500tx per block. we could see 15,000tx by 2020 30,000tx by 2025 and 60,000tx by 2030

so imagine all these lightning network hubs combining 60,000payments of just 1sat fee. to create a large LN settlement transaction fee of 0.00060000 (imagining LN was charging just 1sat per user) for anyone else to want to make a REAL onchain bitcoin transaction they will need to pay 0.00060001 as a minimum just to outbid LN.

so the short answer to the very distant future scenario is
bitcoin transaction fee's would be higher in the future, but no one will care because they would be pushed to the less secure(but cheaper fee) hubs due to these new layers and price war of onchain fee's
even shorter answer
bitcoin fee's will not be 1sat. but second layer hub transactions could be

You can use 1 satoshi as a tx fee even right now. Of course you could in the future.
the only thing that i just wondering, does it takes a long time for confirmation ? as we know that if we decrease the minimum of the fee's very impossible if that coin will be arrive to the recipient address or at least it took more time to get first confirmation

If you use 1 satoshi as transaction fee, and the coin priority is low, I do not think it will get confirmed.

maybe when bitcoin don't have reward anymore to those miners who solve the block,if 20 satoshi can be equivalent to 0.2$,it'll be possible to happening, but as long the reward still exist in every block, this one not going to be happening i guess

yes you can do even right now, but confirmation will require a very very long time. cmiiw

I doubt that this will happen. Is that sooooo far future, when we are with you will be gone. Yes, it's an interesting idea. By that time, I think the system will adjust and upgrade.
You are not forced to pay a commission if you do not pay it, the translation carried out, but after a while.

P.S
When payment is not subject to the commission:
- Translation does not take up much space in the block
- Bitcoin with which the transaction will be made have a lot of evidence

yes you can use any fee or dont include any fee in the transaction but it will more likely never get confirmed. so its better to add more fee.

though you can use any random amount of satoshi's from 0 or 1sat, 2sat +
if you are asking will we have a situation where 1sat tx fee will be the suitable amount in the near future to ensure its accepted in the next block.... um..
no.

if LN becomes a thing, there would be one massive settlement transaction containing thousands of outputs.
the fee the LN tx will have would be an accumilation of many users..

for anyone else to get their transaction in. instead of the large LN settlement transaction. the fee the individual has to pay would need to exceed an LN settlement transaction total fee, for pools to atleast be convinced to ignore the LN settlement transaction and take on individual transactions instead.

Fee is always adjusted with bitcoin price and it is not sure in which direction bitcoin price will go so 20k satoshi will not remain as fee. IF bitcoin goto 100k$ as you said price will be adjusted to around 1k satoshi i think.

You will need the price to grow a little bit bigger than that, for that to happen soon. Even if we reach that stage, it will still not be a problem. The developers can just divide it a bit more, by adding another 0 ^smile^ 0.000000001 - Well this is in theory, but I do not know if people will reach consensus about that. ^hmmmm^
